Quite literally one of my favorite if not my favorite place to catch a drink in Athens, Ohio. Off the beaten court street path, you will find a quiet yet still exciting little bar that offers fresh ciders and cocktails. With a front and back patio, there are lots of little places to relax. I stop in every time I’m in town!

This is the best drinking establishment in Athens. I’m so glad my kid is going to college here because I’m looking forward to visiting again and again. Their ciders are amazing and they also have a good guest beer selection as well as a solid selection.

The absolute best! Not a bar on the main drag, so actually enjoyable for anyone who enjoys a quieter experience. They always have a drink special and the bartenders are legit artists when it comes to mixing.

Our favorite bar in Athens! The cocktails (the Porch Swing is by far the best in my opinion) the cider, the cozy seating, the patio, the service, and the ever-changing unique menu just can’t be beat!

Nice sized pours in the flight my husband got! Very interesting selection of local craft EVERYTHING! We swung by for a bit during down time of BSO. Actually walked from the dorm we were staying in. Can't wait to spend more time here in the coming years! Loved the chill atmosphere. Everyone was VERY friendly and helpful.

We love this place it’s super unique. Never crowded. Start off with Zinzerber and with a cocktail. Service here is quick and careful. No hot food but snack trays are available. Off the main drag in Athens for a more refined flare.

This place was a referral from another great site in Athens called Jackie O’s. The staff there at Jackie O’s told us we had to try it, and I can’t say enough when a great bar refers to another great bar. I’m not a huge cider guy, but this bar was fantastic. It’s on the west end of town and has a different vibe. Very mellow and relaxed. I did not have time to try their food, but some excellent-sounding dishes were on the menu. They were the only appetizers I saw, but they had some great-sounding stuff. Very friendly staff. Chill crowd. Honestly, even though I’m not a huge cider guy, this might be my unwinding spot next time I’m in town. They do have cocktails and beers, but since they crafted their own cider, I did try their driest cider, which, for me, actually wasn’t bad. My pallet prefers non-sweet and dry, so for me to give it the thumbs up, it says something!

Visiting town with my friend and they brought me here. Such a great little spot! They have a wonderful craft cocktail list. We tried a flight of all of their ciders and I liked every one. Also shout out to the staff, Sarah was very friendly and knowledgeable, as were the other 2 folks on with her when we came by. Overall really loved this spot and glad I got to visit!

Friendly, helpful bartender, great atmosphere, meat and cheese tray that is sourced local and in house and a wonderful tasting of their ciders on tap! Absolutely make this one of your stops if you are in town!
