The
medical
attention
Rachel
&
MidwivesCare
LLC
provided
was
impeccable
from
my
prenatal
appointments
through
labor
&
birth,
and
postpartum.
LOVED
the
fact
they
provided
home
visits
from
week
36
onwards.
Rachel
was
on
call
when
I
went
into
active
labor,
and
she
exercised
amazing
wisdom
&
discernment
heading
over
when
she
did.
When
I
updated
her
on
the
frequency/
length
of
contractions
I
wasn’t
even
sure
I
met
the
criteria
for
them
to
head
over
on
account
of
the
length
of
all
the
contractions.
My
husband
and
I
had
recorded
at
least
1
hr
of
contractions
that
were
5
mins
apart
or
less.
But
not
all
of
them
last
at
least
1
min.
Rachel
decided
since
this
was
my
4th
baby,
and
the
weather
was
bad
that
she’d
err
on
the
side
of
being
early.
I
am
eternally
grateful
she
did,
because
approximately
15
minutes
later
I
began
having
the
uncontrollable
urges
to
push.
Rachel
was
half
and
hour
away
still
but
with
her
instructions
over
the
phone
I
was
able
to
pant
through
and
not
push.
I
couldn’t
have
coped
without
her
precise
instructions
on
the
phone.
When
Rachel
and
Catherine
arrived
what
unfolded
was
a
quality
of
care,
service,
and
love
that
I
will
be
ever
grateful
for.
They
got
me
through
the
last
bit
of
thinning
and
opening.
Their
hands,
and
their
guidance
of
my
husbands
hands
while
applying
pressure
on
my
hips
and
tail
bone
made
the
difference
between
agony
and
pain
that
was
totally
manageable.
When
it
was
for
baby
to
come
out
they
put
me
in
positions
that
were
conducive
to
not
tearing
as
I
had
requested.
Rachel
expertly
handled
an
issue
with
the
baby’s
elbows
getting
stuck.
From
crowning
to
baby
being
fully
born
took
2
minutes,
maybe
3
if
I’m
exaggerating.
Alas,
I
did
not
tear!
Thank
you,
midwives!
From
then
on
the
immediate
post
partum
care
was
excellent!
My
daughter’s
umbilical
cord
has
dried
so
fast
and
is
almost
ready
to
fall
off
after
3
days.
It’s
never
happened
this
fast
and
I’m
convinced
that
it
was
because
they
allowed
us
such
a
generous
amount
of
time
before
cutting
the
cord.
Let
me
talk
more
post
partum
care.
Rachel
was
back
after
24
hrs
to
do
mine
and
baby’s
checks.
Rachel
is
so
knowledgeable,
thorough,
and
caring!
That
same
day
we’d
received
a
visit
from
Lactation
lady
Julie
whom
Rachel
had
deployed
to
us.
I
always
forget
how
hard
it
is
to
latch
a
newborn,
they
are
so
teeny
tiny
then,
and
the
nipples
are
so
sensitive.
Julie’s
reassurance
and
helpful
reminders
were
key
to
getting
us
back
on
the
right
track.
She
brought
up
the
option
of
frenectomy,
but
was
tremendously
resourceful
when
I
expressed
interest
in
just
working
with
my
baby
instead
of
going
down
the
route
of
frenectomy,
especially
if
baby
continues
to
gain
weight
as
she
should.
Finally,
LeAnn,
who
came
on
our
day
3
visit
was
also
excellent!
We
experienced
again
the
amazing
quality
of
personal
care
and
service
that
we’ve
consistently
received
with
MidwivesCare
LLC
through
this
pregnancy
and
birth.
Shout
out
to
Coleen
&
Monica
who
served
us
with
care
and
kindness
throughout
this
journey
as
well!
This
was
my
fourth
birth,
but
first
home
birth.
Definitely
satisfied
with
our
home
birth!
