We had a wonderful experience! Julie was so helpful in our breastfeeding journey. She was available for telehealth as well as coming to our home which I thought was so great.

We had such a wonderful experience with midwives care. All throughout my pregnancy I felt cared for and looked after and heard. Once we got close to my due date, they came out to the house for visits and prepared me for labor and delivery. I had a few false alarms in terms of active labor actually starting and they were so patient with me and reassuring. Actual labor started at 3am and they were here quickly! They spent a lot of time with me making sure my baby was in the best position possible for birth. They worked on keeping me relaxed and comfortable. Afterwards they stayed and helped me get her breastfeeding. They truly truly care about you and yours. The visits after birth have been wonderful. I would recommend Rachel and her team to anyone, so thankful for them.

Julie G was amazing and my breastfeeding journey would have ended if it wasn't for her! She helped through the whole journey of my little girl's tongue, lip,& cheek ties. Recommending wonderful places and people to help my girl. Julie was there to guide me through getting my supply back and going back to work. It was been a wonderful experience working with her and ill be contacting her for future concerns or questions!

Julie G was so helpful in supporting me on addressing feeding issues. She instantly was able to spot my son’s tongue tie and I am so thankful for that. My son is doing significantly better since his revision and is just a happy baby. She was also able to connect me with providers to explore reasons for my low milk supply and provided me with support and resources when I was unable to exclusively breastfeed. I think every new mom would benefit from having this much support

Julie G was so helpful and kind. I felt very comfortable with her. She is so knowledgeable and patient. She followed up with me after each appointment and gave great tips and advice. She’s gotten me through mastitis, going from exclusive pumping/bottle feeding to breast, through lip/tongue tie issues and oversupply. I feel confident that I can reach my breastfeeding goals this time around and I owe that to Julie! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for support!

Such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Colleen and Rachel and all of their associates were so fantastic. As a first time mom, they made me feel so comfortable and confident in my decision to birth at home. After this experience, I can confidently say that this was the best decision ever and I cannot imagine giving birth any other way! Their follow ups afterwards were wonderful too. It is so relieving to not have to worry about postpartum appointments as they come to you. My lactation consultant, Julie, was phenomenal! Such a sweetheart as she helped me start my breastfeeding journey to get the best start possible. This entire experience was better than I imagined!

The medical attention Rachel & MidwivesCare LLC provided was impeccable from my prenatal appointments through labor & birth, and postpartum. LOVED the fact they provided home visits from week 36 onwards. Rachel was on call when I went into active labor, and she exercised amazing wisdom & discernment heading over when she did. When I updated her on the frequency/ length of contractions I wasn’t even sure I met the criteria for them to head over on account of the length of all the contractions. My husband and I had recorded at least 1 hr of contractions that were 5 mins apart or less. But not all of them last at least 1 min. Rachel decided since this was my 4th baby, and the weather was bad that she’d err on the side of being early. I am eternally grateful she did, because approximately 15 minutes later I began having the uncontrollable urges to push. Rachel was half and hour away still but with her instructions over the phone I was able to pant through and not push. I couldn’t have coped without her precise instructions on the phone. When Rachel and Catherine arrived what unfolded was a quality of care, service, and love that I will be ever grateful for. They got me through the last bit of thinning and opening. Their hands, and their guidance of my husbands hands while applying pressure on my hips and tail bone made the difference between agony and pain that was totally manageable. When it was for baby to come out they put me in positions that were conducive to not tearing as I had requested. Rachel expertly handled an issue with the baby’s elbows getting stuck. From crowning to baby being fully born took 2 minutes, maybe 3 if I’m exaggerating. Alas, I did not tear! Thank you, midwives! From then on the immediate post partum care was excellent! My daughter’s umbilical cord has dried so fast and is almost ready to fall off after 3 days. It’s never happened this fast and I’m convinced that it was because they allowed us such a generous amount of time before cutting the cord. Let me talk more post partum care. Rachel was back after 24 hrs to do mine and baby’s checks. Rachel is so knowledgeable, thorough, and caring! That same day we’d received a visit from Lactation lady Julie whom Rachel had deployed to us. I always forget how hard it is to latch a newborn, they are so teeny tiny then, and the nipples are so sensitive. Julie’s reassurance and helpful reminders were key to getting us back on the right track. She brought up the option of frenectomy, but was tremendously resourceful when I expressed interest in just working with my baby instead of going down the route of frenectomy, especially if baby continues to gain weight as she should. Finally, LeAnn, who came on our day 3 visit was also excellent! We experienced again the amazing quality of personal care and service that we’ve consistently received with MidwivesCare LLC through this pregnancy and birth. Shout out to Coleen & Monica who served us with care and kindness throughout this journey as well! This was my fourth birth, but first home birth. Definitely satisfied with our home birth!

My overall experience was amazing with Julie G with Midwivescare. As soon as I filled out the form I was contacted by Julie and she clarified so much for me. I’m a first time mom so I had so many questions and Julie was my right hand. Google is so confusing but actually having a certified professional gave me the reassurance I needed. Julie was just a text message away and always worked around my schedule. Highly recommend!
