😠 Rude and condescending patient care. The Nurse alerted the Nurse Practictioner to my symptoms who then proclaimed loudly, "that's it?!" The NP then brought that energy into the room and proceeded to be rude, condescending and extremely disrespectful. Very disappointing to be treated in that manne... Very rude, no compassion for patients. The receptionist was not nice nor had compassion for my child. Then she questioned my son’s health and did not believe me. I will never come back even for an emergency. She was very judgmental. If you do not have compassion for people, do not work in the medical field. She was nice to the other patients because they were white and I’m black.

Rude people. Seriously, what is wrong with our healthcare system that you people can’t even just handle simple logistical questions. “How soon will I hear back?” Should be “hopefully within the hour” or even “hopefully by the end of the day.” Not “I don’t know.” I don’t understand how some people are able to secure important jobs in important fields and yet have zero soft skills and zero problem solving ability. But they all know how to process payments.

My daughter and I received top notch, personable, compassionate, and professional service from the door to the Exam Room today! I was heard, seen, and valued! I felt loads better when I left because of the humanity and kindness shown to us! I hope not to be ill anytime soon; but, OSF Merrionette Park will be my first choice for immediate care. Kudos to Terri, Candace, and PAC Smiarowski, a fantastic team!

Would give zero if that was an option. My sister and niece came in to receive care for a dog bite. Nobody was there when first walked in but then a lady came up front and asked what they needed, when told the reason for the visit she then seemed more concerned about the other employees' breaks and how taking care of them would put them behind. My sister mentioned she was military and the lady had the audacity to say "you're military and you don't carry mace?!" How that is relevant is beyond me. And it seems from reading previous reviews that the professionalism from the staff seems to be a constant issue. So if you need URGENT CARE, you're better off succumbing to your ailness or going elsewhere!

The doctor and the nurse at the front desk were all very hospitable. Special shout out to Tierney (I’m sure I speeded it wrong) for making us laugh and being super concerned.

Came in for a head laceration for my 4 year old. Bed side manners suck. My daughter asked for a lollipop or stickers. They had nothing for her. Nurse practitioner told me she could do the stitches but it will be better to take her to the ER. What a waste of time. I should’ve went there in the first place. Just plain lazy.

My first visit was a great experience. Very nice, clean and inviting environment. I was treated as soon as I walked in. I was pleased with the service I received. I appreciate 48 hour follow up. This a facility that cares.

A very disappointing experience. After spending the outpatient fee and testing fee, a senior nurse finally came. Yes, you heard that right, a senior nurse, not a doctor. I had pain for 2 weeks and it got worse and worse, but she didn't give me any medicine, and she had a very bad attitude. She told me that if it was serious, I should go to the emergency room directly. I told her that this was inflammation, and I prescribed some anti-inflammatory drugs or antibiotics for me, but she became unhappy and said she would not prescribe medicine for me. And she was looking at the test report to give me the diagnosis, not the medical knowledge she had learned on her own. I was so disappointed.

I brought my children here in May 2022 when we all had Covid and again when they both had influenza and this is the nicest staff I have ever had the pleasure of taking care of my kids other than Midwest Express. They were quick, the providers thorough and the medical assistants did wonders with my children. I even was able to take their medication home with me that very day for $10 as a mom that was a life saver one last thing to worry about.

Normally I give this place 5 stars for their stellar service. Today, Sunday, February 5, it was not ok. First, I am happy I called ahead of time to see if they were open, because the internet has them open all day today, but they said they closed at 2pm when I called. I came in because they had treated me for strep earlier in the week and the antibiotics don’t seem to be working and I woke up today with an encrusted red eye. The woman who greeted me could not have been any ruder, even going so far as to tell the doctor can’t change my antibiotics mid-course ( to my knowledge she is not a doctor or anyone that treats patients). I hadn’t even brought that up! Pretty aggressive and rude. She took my vitals, asked me how much I weighed (I had just been here 3 days prior) I told her probably the same as last time I was here. She pointed to the scale for me to get on. I had to ask her what my vitals were, didn’t ask me about my medications or allergies etc and was super unfriendly. Then Caitlyn came in. Just Caitlyn. No clue if she was a doctor; nurse PA, etc. I was some what confused by her. She said it’s not a good idea to change antibiotics in the middle ( I NEVER ASKED ANYONE HERE TO CHANGE THEM). I wasn’t confident in her abilities after speaking with her, and her telling me it didn’t really look like conjunctivitis. I guess she didn’t notice I had no fever when I was in the other day but I was at 99 today as well as NOT looking at my allergies or asking me if I had any before she told me what she was prescribing for my eye infection ( even though to her it didn’t look like I had one???)When I was handed the discharge papers it was a completely different medication than what she said she was giving me. I asked why and was told when she tried to prescribe the first one it got flagged for allergies.( I guess she missed the day they taught that ‘sulfa’ is different than ‘sulfate’) I suppose if EVERYONE WASN’T IN SUCH A HURRY to get out of there, I would have had much better care (as I have 100% of the time besides today). Caitlyn also took the liberty of making an appointment with my doctors office on a day and time I am not available and didn’t even bother to tell me and pretty much told me not to come back to urgent care if there were any more issues concerning this. Poor healthcare all around.

Very friendly and attentive staff. You can tell they really care about your overall well-being. I will definitely consider this location for the future. Editing my review to 3 stars because the lady on the phone has poor customer service and was in a rush to get me off the phone - She clearly didn’t care about my concerns.

I had an AWSOME experience at OSF merrionette park. The staff felt comfortable and were very friendly. The place was immaculate. Very clean. I would definitely recommend this location !!!🤗

Wonderful experience! I highly recommend them. I’ve been to the Merrionette Park location twice. Honestly, the best experience of urgent care or ER visits ever. Friendly, caring staff; friendly, caring, and knowledgeable nurse practitioners.

This place is NEVER open. I tried three times to come here and each time it is closed with a note saying to go to their evergreen park location which is always packed so you can't be seen in a timely fashion. One time my boyfriend took me there the doors were not locked but no one was in there. My boyfriend literally walked around yelling 'hello' to an empty office. So we let the evergreen park location know what happened and they were like ' they must have forgotten to lock the doors' well....duh. very unprofessional like what is the point of having this location if you are never open?

Clean facility. Great customer service. Zero wait time and I was in/out within a few minutes. I will definitely come to this location in the future.

  • 2/5 Carrie J. 10 months ago on Google
The staff and everyone there was very nice and not much of a wait time. The downfall is they didn’t have the capabilities to diagnose any abdominal issues in the office and were unable to fast track anything at the hospital. So I’m stirring g here in the ER. So I had to pay a co-pay for the urgent care and now for the ER!!’

Christina Norris APRN CNP saw my mom today. She was so quick to get testing done for the flu, Covid and Strep throat as she had multiple symptoms. After getting a positive result for Covid, she addressed the situation by advising to make an appointment with her doctor. She took the time to go over her summary she and what she should do at home. The staff there today were very nice and helpful as well.

I have had multiple positive experiences at this location. They are very professional. I saw a nurse practitioner. She diagnosed my issue and someone called to follow up with me at home the next day. They made me feel like they really cared. My last visit was for a COVID test. They were overwhelmed with patients that morning but they were able to service all of us in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.

I have the unfortunate issue of recurring sinus issues so I have frequented here. The staff and CNP’s are 100% top notch and professional, kind, courteous. I even had a question about a prescription after I was done taking it and I received a call back from the CNP promptly. Everything about the facility is clean, organized. If you have to be sick and seen by someone, I recommend here hands down.

Had a few positive experiences here but when my wife called back for her results em she was treated very rudely and was never apologized to. Unfortunate to have one bad apple ruin it for a company we had previously had a good experience with.

My family love using this location to get treated. We get seen fast the assistant spoils the kids with stickers and popsicles and doctor norris makes the kids feel so comfortable and is very knowledgeable in what she does.

I received the best care from a nurse practitioner, Christina who went out of her way when the pharmacy did not have the medication I needed. She took extra time for me. She is definitely an asset to the Osf community.

I normally think this place is awesome but today, not even a bit. They were closing early for whatever reason and I got there close to closing time. I felt rushed and as if I was seriously intruding on them for coming when they wanted to go home. The rest of the experience followed suit. I would recommend going when they don’t feel like they need to get home. And NP or whatever she was, could not have been more condescending to me.

Rude and condescending patient care. The Nurse alerted the Nurse Practictioner to my symptoms who then proclaimed loudly, "that's it?!" The NP then brought that energy into the room and proceeded to be rude, condescending and extremely disrespectful. Very disappointing to be treated in that manner. Not sure why the NP thought this was acceptable, but she clearly needs to be taught better patient care. Tried to call to alert patient relations about my experience, but there is no clear way to contact that team.

The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and professional. They were professional and concerned about my issue. The intake nurse was friendly and the process was thorough. The nurse practitioners was very understanding, professional, and accommodating. As I left, the front desk wished me well. I left there feeling better because although I was still in pain, I had a good experience and hope.
