Easily the best cocktail bar I've been to for expertly crafted cocktails. Also the ambience is incredible warm and the staff are lovely. Great spot for a date!

I hadn’t been since it was named Trumpy, but walking past after dinner we stopped in for a few cocktails. Loved the relaxed / friendly vibe, the drinks were tasty, the staff were lovely 👍🏻

Wonderful venue, seasonal cocktail list always covers all bases and caters to all tastes. Music is always solid and the staff are very sweet and knowledgeable; especially the tall tan gentleman. Would come back just to see him!

Rowdy is hands down the best bar tender I’ve ever had. I thought I was just coming in for a quiet drink with my friend, but I got so much more. Service with a smile and the bar tender, rowdy, remembered my order when I couldn’t ❤️

Had my 21st birthday here on Friday night. Had an an absolutely amazing time here thanks to Rowdy and all the bar staff. Cocktails and pizzas were delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a better night!

Franklin’s is probably my favourite cocktail bar in Thornbury, no wait, in all of Melbourne! The entire staff are so lovely and so knowledgeable about their booze. The low lighting and great music make it a phenomenal date spot, and even though I’ve moved to Coburg, I still make my way back here every week for a beer and a yarn with all the wonderful staff and patrons. Can’t beat those cheap Sunday prices either!

Had a wonderful night at franklins tonight. The music was amazing, the margaritas were the perfect size and the pizza was cooked perfectly. Bella was a wonderful host!

This is the most wholesome, wonderful bar ever. The bartenders are so attentive and lovely, If you’re looking for a new local this is it. Couldn’t fault it.

Love Franklin's! Great drink selection, pizzas (especially the funghi) and the vibe is 10/10. Great in Winter because of the fire place, and summer too as there's a cute beer garden at the back. If Rowdy is working, make sure you order a cocktail as he is the best!

Everything we asked for Rowdy and the team made sure happened. So accommodating and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my function was a success. I had the most incredible afternoon and night celebrating my 30th bday function at Franklins! Perfect venue for a relaxed but buzzing event with incredible service from Rowdy, Ben and the rest of the awesome crew. Delicious wood fire pizzas and drinks, great selection of tap beers and wines. My guests raved about the venue! Rowdy was so helpful, hospitable and friendly, making it a super smooth event to plan. Wish I could turn 30 every year! Thanks again guys xx

Fantastic cocktails here, lovely romantic atmosphere with chill lounge music in the background that doesn't interfere with your conversation. Lots of booth seating available in dim lighting, outdoor beer garden in the rear. They don't serve food but they are happy for you to bring in outside food, there's a pizza place 2 minute walk opposite it.

I booked a space at Franklin's bar for a casual gathering for my 30th - I'd never been there before so it was a bit of a risk, but I can't imagine having found a better venue for it!! Rowdy and the team were so easy to book with, and were so accommodating and super friendly. Drinks were great, the space outside was warm and cosy even on a rainy night, and we had such a lovely time. Really awesome bar, and we will be back for sure :)

I rarely leave reviews BUT this bar is super cute! We popped in after dinner and took full advantage of their happy hour (8-10pm... yeehaw). Had such lovely chats with a legend behind the bar called Chris, sick music, excellent vibes, perfect cocktails, 10/10 nice time. Highly recommend <3

Bartender went out of his way to give me the drink I was after. He listened and took in to consideration what I was after without me even asking . Very F-ing good.
