Nice bar, staff, and good selection of beers on tap. Place has an appropriate amount of attitude for the location and vibe. Different seating options are a nice touch, and the place feels nice, cozy, and local.

Love The Racoon club. Very relaxed, welcoming environment. Some have a bee in their bonnet about their no kids policy, but there are 5 bars/pubs within 100m so i can't figure out why its a big deal. The venue has a large smoking areas so i wouldn't bring my kid here anyway. It's nice having an 'adult' venue nearby.

Absolutely love going to the Racoon for a relaxed, easy and safe spot for a yummy drink. Staff are also very accommodating, helpful, humorous and just all round legends. Have been going here for a couple years now and don’t plan to stop any time soon. Shoutout to all the team for their great work.

A great venue ruined by obnoxious staff who treat paying customers appallingly if they deem you to be 'not their type'. Rude staff ruin this venue. Edit: 'owner' has replied claiming issues raised relate to other matters. Venue is sadly living up to it's reputation on High St

Young bloke starts causing trouble and wanting to fight everyone over the challenge pool table and owner wouldn't do a thing about it. Irresponsible serving of alcohol. I won't be going back again!

What an awesome bar! Friendly, relaxed, a huge selection of drinks. This is a bar where you can actually talk to friends! I hear they let you order Uber eats to enjoy a meal with your drinks! And right beside a tram stop! Don’t tell too many people though..

It's one of my favourite local spots to visit! Thirsty Thursday's on the regular! Eat in from any venue you like, super convenient to be located between Shop Ramen and Chew Burger. It's even better when the metal head bar tender spins gutless vinyls! I have been harassing the bar tenders on the regular to bring in my own vinyl one night. They are welcoming to this! Absolute legends! ..... if they could get the OG La Sarine Citray Sour back on tap, it would be the best!

Super chilled place with amazing staff and a super cute outside area out front. Comfy sofas and seating inside on cold nights and a free pool table. Awesome beers on tap and some of the best spirit selections in Preston.

Best in this side of town! Excellent environment, good people and good vibes. There is a free pool table to enjoy over an extensive selection of drinks. The venue is fully licenced. The owners, Helen and Rob have created a great social network that feels like being at home!

This place has a non pretentious, relaxed vibe. Great local beers, huge whiskey range, awesome tunes always playing at a non evasive volume, and is sandwiched between two eateries that will prepare your order while you await in the Raccoon Club drinking beer. Awesomely, you can then pick it up and take it back with you to the cool vibes.

A pretty decent place for a beer

If you are looking for a bar on a Saturday afternoon and you are looking for a kitch/dirty bar @ 17:25... dont look any further than these guys. Firk'n perfect. And they play vinyl. Doesn't get much better.

Cozy atmosphere. Good wines and ok staff, seems to be hit and miss with politeness but aside from that nice bar for a few drinks with friends.

Low-key and cosy. $9 Happy Hour pints 5-7. Free pool table, woodburner fire and super generous cheese platters. Dope people behind the bar too, and no under 18s allowed. Bliss.

Cheap bar. Lovely at evening

Picked up a friend from the airport late on Friday and wanted somewhere to go near my place for a couple of drinks and this place was one of the only bars open and I'm so glad we went in! Funky vibe, friendly staff and good range of drinks. Real eclectic crowd as well, seemed to have a good mix of all different types of people. Table beside us had a deck of Uno so we spent the rest of our night catching up, having a few drinks and playing some card games. Will need to make myself a regular here for sure!

Best around this place. Lovely people and great atmosphere. The music was excellent and good crowd. The place is done nicely with a variety of furnitures and they provide options for board or card games. There is also a pool table.

One of my favourite bars in the area. The over vibe is great with a range of comfy seating to suit small or large groups. Great range of drinks and at reasonable prices. There is no aircon so whilst not somewhere I would go on a hot day this bar is usually a great option for a drink or two or twenty

I've been coming here for years and find it to be one of the best bars in Melbourne. The staff are awesome , the drinks are delicious (cocktails recommended!) and the atmosphere is great. Not to mention Free Pool and you can eat your take away in the bar and they'll clean it up for you after. They serve cheese as well.... up the racoon!!!
