Gavin Park

Tourist attraction β€’ Park

πŸ‘ Great little park to go for a stroll, ride your bike or walk the dog. The creek is in very poor shape though, when there is water it's black and smelly. Also lots of rubbish floating around. There could be more park benches for people to sit and enjoy the trees or just to rest and in need of more ru... People often mention park,

Usually quiet, the playground and BBQ area can get busy. I love walking through early morning or evening when the bird life bursts into song... Walking the entire length of the path .. across Northumberland Road and back is a nice 4km on a very moderate uphill slant so easy walk.

Very nice park for a small picnic with family and friends. The playground has been recently upgraded and offers very nice attractions for small kids. There are BBQ, water fountains, parking and toilets available, so it is also suitable for small birthday parties. The only downside is that the BBQ area is too small to host more than one family but there is plenty of space around if you prefer to picnic.

Great little park to go for a stroll, ride your bike or walk the dog. The creek is in very poor shape though, when there is water it's black and smelly. Also lots of rubbish floating around. There could be more park benches for people to sit and enjoy the trees or just to rest and in need of more rubbish bins along the trail.

Wanted to stop by at this playground, but when I realised there was no fencing, on what is a main road, we decided against it. Maybe it's intended for older kids, but definitely not suitable for little ones who run faster than you can say "Come Back!"

Good park for families with kids , people with pets and cyclists too. There is a creek right next to the path which extends all the way upto Austin Cresent reserve.

Went here ever since I was a kid. You can access this place as a short cut from the train station to Devon Rd. recommend coming here if you’re in the area. Has good facilities and a beautiful creek.

I couldn't get deeper into the park but vibes seemed quiet warming. We went there for as usual ciggy breaks and love it. Next time we will definitely exploring the whole park.

My daily walk through this park gives me a feel of what Pascoe Vale was before settlement. The gum trees look like a painting, they're beautiful.

Dogs are allowed off the leash. Creek is good for playing with kids. Good hills for riding bikes.

It's a pity that the council don't spend enough our rates into the parks around Pascoevale, the other side of Gavin Park still has the same kite swing and equipment from 1982.. as i used to play their back then ..but Coburg lake has a way more and variety...
