As far as rotundas go, this one ticks all the boxes. It's rotund to start with and it's in a park. It also has a roof which is great for those times you're in the park and you need somewhere nearby with a roof.

This Parklands is a fantastic to walk around also has a lot of tall trees that are fairly old lots of Gardens. Has a magnificent play area for The Young Ones tennis courts and this garden also hosts the Fitzroy Victoria Bowls Club. It is a fantastic site to walk around which takes about an hour on a slow doodle while you're looking at everything well worth attending.

All part of the greater area known as Edinburgh Gardens in Fitzroy North. Great place for a picnic, walking with or without a dog, and a playground, basket ball court, and amenities.

Place of deep cultural significance for inner Melbourne elites. Please show appropriate deference here.

It's exactly what you expect but sometimes it smells weird and sometimes there are people in it and they are loud and drunk!!!!

The park is perfect for a picnic, a decent amount of parking and really cool trees to sit under on soft grass, pathway and loads of various, directions for waling, cycling and all sorts of excercise and sporting facilities like tennis, etc. There always seems to be lots of people getting about, whilst this is a high rotunda for taking high perspective photos, regardless of the weather, as the roof offers excellent shelter for such a purpose. Being the fairly high rotunda that it is means, that may not be so suitable for use as band stand, as you wouldn't be able to see whomever. Alternatively if simply letting out sound, then would then be exceptional, as the acoustics are are amazing. So in all, a location well worthwhile for social and community gatherings and or events using the rotunda as a centre point.
