Cheaper than your main retail pet places and usually have all you need. Guys there are also helpful. Everytime I have gone they have helped me out and answered various questions. They also have mealworms, crickets, king mealworms, etc. May also be worth asking if they have any clearance items which helps them and you get it cheaper too. Unfortunately they do not have a website but I suppose it helps keep costs and inventory management low so not unhappy about that. Just drop them a call.

Avoid this shop if you're a newbie. Trying to sell mineral products for Xtra $$$ before selling you any fish. Instead of asking water parameters and set up...trying to Jam products in to you, you don't need. That has nothing to do with making sure your water quality is fine...just a money making strategy! Will not put a step into this shop again. If you really care about the animals and not just the $ why you don't ask water parameters or offer a free water Test before a fish purchase?

I went into the store and asked whether they sold nappies for my dog who is 16 years old. The lovely guy who owns the store told me they didn't. We discussed the matter further and he suggested baby nappies with a hole cut in for the tail. they have sold me fishes with white spot parasite. one of them died the other is on its way out. went there yesterday and pointed out to staff members that one of their bettas had white spots - he responded that the fishes he sold me a week earlier would not have a white spot and would develop on its own in my tank... I have a new tank with only 6 fishes I've bought from them... went there twice and never again.

This is my go to for all things aquatic. The manager and employees are very knowledgeable and willing to help out and answer questions. Despite other larger (and sometimes cheaper) aquariums I can get to, I value the care and compassion that PAWS has for all creatures.

After setting up a new tank i had a few issues with my pump that i was unable to resolve. Staff at Nautilus listened and worked out a couple of solutions. We have been coming to Nautilus since it opened, Since then we have 4 tanks and a few more to set up. The team that work in this store are very knowledgeable and really do take the time to help with all questions you may have. Scott the owner is absolute delight to deal with and has done such amazing job to build a aquarium store that looks after there customers and makes everything in store a reasonable price which is very rear to come across in the fish keeping business. Being new to owning fish (bought from elsewhere) I ran into a few problems. I had been to 4 other pet shops and was recommended products that were not helping me, until I went into Pet & Aquarium Warehouse and met the Owner Steve, who was able to help me with the issues I had with my fish and the tank itself. He was so knowledgeable and patient and took the time to explain what I was doing wrong, without making me feel like a complete fool. Really appreciate the help and my tank and fish are now healthy. I have been back a few times since and have found other staff also lovely to deal with. Definitely our go to pet store moving forward :)

Messaged them for cherry shrimp and was told in stock. Travelled to store and had no stock. Good attempt to resolve issue by offering a few ones for free but unfortunately too far to be cost effective

At what other pet store can you find rare plecos and locally bred bettas?! Better than most dedicated aquarium stores. The people here really care about their fish and actually know their stuff. They are always understaffed but no matter how chaotic it gets they are helpful and friendly, you get great discounts too. Fish are looked after properly and are healthy, the bettas in particular are gorgeous. Aquarium related supplies take up half the floor space instore.

Big thanks to store Manager Stevie and his staff. All have been very friendly, welcoming, and helpful with what I’ve needed - food type and quantities for a foster kitten, and a gigantic and excellent quality cat scratcher also at a great price. There’s no pressure and when I had to return something, it was done without any fuss at all. Special shout out to the resident parrot who helped himself to a staff member’s hot chips when I was there the first time!

Exactly what I needed and at a good price

Drove an hour to get here tonight. Google says open till 7pm. Store signs say 5pm. Needed 1 bag of fish food. Workers were inside but it didn’t matter that I was there.

Highly recommen this shop The staff are very helpful and know what they are talking about, they have a good range of exotic fish and string rays.

Their fish die within hours to a couple of days of buying them..staff are not very knowledgeable, I was told by one of their staff I would have no trouble putting a beta with an angel fish but they were wrong, and what is even worse is they try selling you stuff you don't even need but it's their own products they try getting you to buy so in my opinion stay right away and save your money and time by not going there, there is plenty of much better aquariums in the area

I would highly recommend Pet and Aquarium Warehouse Maidstone. Steven is great, he has knowledge of what he stocks and gives helpful advice for whatever you'll need. I've never recieved this level of service in any other petstore in Melbourne. Prices are way cheaper than many other places. Absolutely great service by Steven and other staff. I will definitely make this store my go to place for anything that I'll need for my puppy and my fishies. They stock exotic ranges for fishies too like the L600 and Stingrays, which are absolute wonders. The best pet store in Melbourne.

I put some wrong chemical in our pond and our gold fishes getting weak, 2 died.I went there to buy something to start our new pond to rescue our 6 gold fishes. Jack who was really helpful to explain what we should do, what we plan to do, he gave us an honest suggestion also suggest us to bring in a water sample so they can test for us to make sure it is good for our fish. Thank you Jack and your store is highly recommend from us 😀

Support an independently owned, Australian business. They have every brand of cat/dog kibble on the market and are competitively priced. Their Hill science cost a good deal less than buying at the vet. The guys are always friendly & helpful.
