Went to a few pet stores, I was unable to find a pet enclosure. Only store to have them was Petstock Essendon. They were fabulous assisting me selecting the right product for my pet. Very happy with my purchase.

Today my mum received a handwritten letter in the mail from the staff at PETstock vet. I almost cried, I’ve never seen such a caring team! Saying goodbye to my little old lady, Mimi, was the hardest experience of my life (they explained the process quite thoroughly and gave us much needed space when it was time which I appreciated). Best veterinary team there is! Very caring, attentive and knowledgeable staff. My 2yo dog has been suffering with some obscure allergy ever since we adopted her, over a year ago now, having found no relief from the traditional treatments. We have tried different vets in the area during this time and the PETstock Essendon team were the first to actually take their time to get to the root of this (and to educate me, in detail, about her condition). They really care about your pet - which is not only a relief for them, but for us! I can't say how happy I am to see my dog scratch-free! Huge thanks to Dr Andrew and Dr Kamani.

Today we went in to pet stock to use the toilet after a long drive and ended up passing by the cat enclosure. Ended up having a great chat with Raven, who not only was great chat, but super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Super impressed with his service and kindness. Happy ending, we ended up adopting our new baby Miso!

Do not appreciate the checkout staff member guilt-tripping me about not donating money. You don't know our circumstances and we don't want to hear 'Aww that's a shame!' if we choose not to pay extra. How about Petstock donates more out of their profit or staff wages. Or at least some tact.

The very best! The entire vet team are amazing and will always go above and beyond to make sure you get the best possible outcome for your pets. They genuinely care and make every part of the experience amazing. Such a kind team, who are all so knowledgeable. The store also have really kind and caring staff who are willing to help with any queries. Everyone is so friendly and make sure you have a great experience when shopping around.

Thank you Ronny at PetStock Essendon for a beautiful experience in the euthanasia of our 16 year old pet dog Cindy. As sad a time as it is when the end is determined through failed health issues with our pet, your gentle, kind attitude in the process was comforting. Have tried using there price match multiple times, but after today I will never be shopping at pet stock again. My price match was below cost price (allegedly)…. My ignorance thought the next thing would be to get it just above cost price….? No…! You have to find a price from a comparison company above there hidden cost price to get a discount or you pay full hugely inflated pet stock price…. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ As much as I loved your standardised response to a bad review I’ll pass thanks… Do the rest of the community a favour and supply the service of price matching exactly how is described by Petstock when shopping in store… Which if you’ve forgotten is “price matching” not whinging and complaining that it can’t be done. Pathetic

PETstock continue to be awesome as a pet store and the vet, Andrew, was super awesome. The whole experience for our kitty cats was the best and there wasn't any bad cat behaviour from them. Andrew knows his stuff. There are usually cute kittys uo for adoption too.

Our boy's love going to see all of the wonderful staff. The reception staff, vet nurse and vets go out of their way to support your pets needs. Highly recommend.

After unsatisfactory service from another vet clinic, I was on the hunt for a new clinic to take my cat. I was recommended this clinic by a family member and I'm very happy that they pointed me in this direction. Petstock Essendon Vet has been absolutely fantastic with my cat over the last year up until her passing. Their attention to detail and genuine care had made going to the vet a less stressful situation. I will forever be grateful for everything they did for me and my cat.

Not a bad range of Bird food plus it is the only pet shop I have found that sells BIRDZONE parrot food.

We had to say goodbye to 2 of our elderly pets this week, and the care and compassion shown by the nurses and the vets is beyond compare. We wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Aside from the vet; the puppy training school is wonderful. We will be signing our pup up for the next level very soon. And the staff in the main store section are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend PetStock for all your pet care needs!

I have a great deal of respect and adoration for this store as they introduced me to my Cat who we adopted via their store. I’ve since been a regular customer for most of my cat care needs. One or two items I’ve struggled to find via them but for the most part they have a very good selection! HOWEVER I feel they should buy me a new couch as the cat has thoroughly scratched up my current one 😂😂 5/5 scratching posts.

All the veterinarians are fantastic and the reception staff are so friendly and helpful. My dog gets very anxious and jumpy during vet visits making it difficult for the vets to hold her steady but they are still able to do everything with her and provide a extremely high-quality service. Can’t recommend them enough!

The only petstock I’ve found that sells fresh meats out of a fridge at really good prices. I get kangaroo meat here for my dog & he loves it. Great service. 👌🏻

There is a purple haired staff member here that is rude with a big mouth. You bring a faulty product back and this staff member insists she has the same and you are wrong then laughs to your face when she is asked keep her comments to herself. The treatment you get is deplorable and that staff member should be fired. What sort of company allows staff to run their mouth off, laugh at customers and thinks it's ok A store I will NEVER go back too.

Good store. Friendly staff. Their fresh pet meat is good quality and my cats love their roo. I feel they could have more premium pet food specials. I don't shop here for my Hills dry or wet food because the prices are a little high...

PETstock was the only pet store that was fully stocked with the only treat that my pooch eats. Other competitive stores have been out of stock for a while. Good job guys. I will check with you guys first from now on

Amanda and her grooming team are just fantastic, I realised the other day that I was taking my Aussie over 6 years and I cannot see taking him to anyone else. The Vets and nurses also love and care for my boof head. Thanks team

My puppy loves the vet clinic here and so do we. Amazing variety of toys, food and accessories for any size doggo.

We have taken our cats here for a while now and they always get excellent care with attention to detail. Highly recommend. The vets, nurses and reception staff are all fantastic! They genuinely care about our boys and they have a special cat friendly room. We always have time to ask lots of questions and all procedures/treatments have been explained in detail. If we have any issues or concerns they are easily contactable. We are now taking our puppy here and she loves it - makes going to the vet so much easier!

I will only take my little Jango to Amanda for grooming. She has taken the time to really get to know him. He's not a fan of a bath, but Amanda knows his little quirks and tends to them to make him comfortable. They have their own little things going. It's quite cute.

I use this vet because it is a convenient location for me. They have a specific cat consulting room where dogs are not allowed, which is nice. I haven't had the best experience with the compounding pharmacy they normally use, as the flavour and amount and syringes supplied constantly change without any communication. If you are ordering medication through here, make sure you are very specific on what you want, and firm otherwise changes will just happen.

My go-to pet store in the last 5 years. Great variety selections. Even have raw meat bar to buy mince and bones. Team there always super friendly!

Have been going to PetStock Essendon vet for years now and they're so lovely and amazing with my Rusty boy and me. The nurses are extremely lovely and always greet us and recognise him. The vets I've seen has always been knowledgeable, caring and helpful. And they have always had the best interests of my furbaby first. Not only that but they're more affordable then my previous vet. Win win!

I brought in my large anxious rescue mutt with an unexplained gut issue. Brenton (vet) was so kind and gentle (to her) she didn’t flinch, growl or bark not matter what he did.. all typical behaviours with strange men. He told me everything we needed to know

Excellent range of cat wet and dry foods. Also a large range of different sized and interesting shaped cat trees that I haven't seen at other stores. I have a cat so I only really focused on the cat sections but it was a very large store and if the cat section was this great is was likely that the rest was just as good.

They are not professional at all, they speak in a very rude and uninteresting way, and they don't even say hello when they greet you. They act as if they are forcing people to work with zero smiles. We will never take our dog to Petstock Essendon, especially because of the employee named Carla who says she is a nurse. They left me on hold for 10 minutes and they did not call back. I called back because the phone was cut off and the employees did not know about each other, not professional at all.

Was looking for a wormer and flea treatment and found exactly what I needed for my 3 month old kitten. Great customer service 👌🏽

Amazing was stuck in blk friday crazyness and the lovely kim put on hold not 1 but two slabs of dog food ! Absolute dream team got there and was offered my slabs to be taken to the car. Forgot about the frantic traffic when i got there. Have never ever had issues with quality of their stock either- other competitors dont seem to stock their prescription can food properly. Merry xmas to the benchmark of all round service!!

I am never going back there! No staff to help and the rudest vet receptionist ever! I bought things for more than 300$ i wish i spent them somewhere else!

Was looking at getting tropical fish tank and all that goes with it, the service was excellent. From their knowledge and how they made it easy to understand which made it easy to go home and set everything up. Will be back in 2 weeks for the fish.

The veterinary team at PETstock Essendon have taken absolutely wonderful care of my cats. They have checked in multiple times outside appointment hours to ensure my cats are doing well and are always available to answer any queries I may have.

This is the only pet shop I’ve been into that has coats made for greyhounds and whippets ❤️ The store also had a really nice vibe and great selection of treats.

We have always taken both our cats to PetStock Vet in Essendon. In fact Freddie our ginger cat was adopted here from Pets Haven shelter. The vet team here are always kind and respectful except the one we came across today. Usually we are there early and wait to be called in, sometimes that is 15 mins after our scheduled time. But, that was never a problem to us because we know animals can be unpredictable sometimes. Today we were 10 mins late to our appointment because Freddie did not want to get into his carrier. After several scratches, a torn tee shirt and 4 laps around the house we somehow managed to get him in. The vet nurse that greeted us on arrival and the Vet himself did not seem to mind that we were late. I was extremely apologetic and was prepared to wait longer to be seen. We were seen straight away and everything was super positive until we went to pay, the person on the counter was probably having a bad day already so was very cold and transactional. Reminded us that the next time we are late we will need to make a new appointment, when I tried to explain why we were late it did not seem to matter. Reminding us wasn't an issue just the way they did it. I will not stop going here just because one person was cold. This review is just to bring this matter to your attention so you can reward the ones who go above and beyond to make us pet parents feel comfortable and relaxed in a very stressful situation. If you are the vet nurse who greeted us today THANK YOU your kindness was very appreciated and we are grateful. The vet who saw Freddie today Tim was so very kind and gentle and put our minds at ease too. THANK YOU!

The Roo mince they sell fresh in bulk is great for my fussy cats. Just portion into ziplocks and store in the freezer.

I took my newly adopted, anxious dog to visit in the hopes of getting him used to people and I cannot thank the team at Petstock Essendon enough- they were so caring, kind and gave Leif patience and snacks when he needed extra help in feeling comfy! We will absolutely be back! ❤️
