Very friendly service and easy delivery. Unfortunately the quality of the botanical blend is very low, no water is able to past through the top layer making it unusable as is for a veggie patch.

DO NOT BUY THEIR "botanical mix". The soil looks ok but is very waterproof, sadly the water just stay on top of the soil. This soil become a sort of grey sludge when wet, and doesn't let the water pass on the lower layer of garden bed. You can see in the 1st picture a pot filled 3/4 with the botanical mix, I watered it, and this is the result 15min+ later.... The pot is still full of water and not a drop coming out from the bottom... I am very disappointed with the quality and the answers I got after giving them a quick ring... "Maybe it's because the weather is hot" the gentleman told me on the phone. Yeah right. I have now more than a cubic meter of grey sludge sitting in my driveway. I also asked for a small truck for the delivery because my driveway is very small and I would have like the soil to be delivered in the back, closer to my garden. The delivery was made with a big truck that couldn't come in. The driver told me to ask for a smaller truck next time ( what a joke ).

Went and bought 6 metres of mixed firewood and The Green Centre were fantastic. They are well priced and everyone was friendly and helpful. It was delivered the next day and was delivered on time. The driver was polite and cheerful. Went back to see them the next day and show them my stacking skills and steps walked (33,000). And no soreness !! Will be back again when I need firewood next

Highly recommended. I only needed a small area of grass but it was delivered quickly and at my time of choosing. Excellent quality turf that is growing well even when planted in the middle of summer! Great service and helpful advice over the phone about which variety would be best suited to my location.

Had a load of timber delivered by these guys cheaper, including delivery, than any other yard closer to us. Family owned/run business which we love. There were probably only 6 huge logs that will need to be split in the whole load. Communication great too. Delivered as scheduled and we got a text message that morning advising of delivery leaving yard and estimate time of arrival. Highly recommended and will probably be back for next years cache!

We recently had our backyard converted from white stones to turf from the Green Centre and we could not be happier with the result. The team was extremely helpful before the go ahead and well after the installation of any questions regarding the maintenance of the turf. Booked and paid online with some pretty specific delivery instructions. The friendly driver arrived within my chosen delivery window and complied exactly. The office had highlighted the instructions on his paperwork. It’s a wood delivery, how much value can you add? Getting these small things right made all the difference. Great people to deal with made everything very easy. Told me delivery would be made at 9am and truck arrived at 8:55am. Soil that was supplied was great. And the delivery driver was the nicest person I have ever dealt with went above and beyond helpful.

The firewood supplied is great - lovely redgum - however the split is too large (they do offer a 'double split' option which I hadn't noticed). Never mind - it's warming me twice, once when splitting then again when burning.

Excellent quick delivery within the times they quoted. Wood cut into a nice variety of sizes for easy stacking & selection when using. No ridiculous pieces that can’t be used easy as from other suppliers we’ve experienced…and dry ready for use.!

I’ve just purchased the the native green mulch. Wasn’t aware green waste could be mulched if it hard concrete in it. I expected “minimal” rubbish but did not expect to find bits of concrete (not rocks) scattered throughout the mulch. Just a quick pick through and have already picked out two handfuls. Concrete makes it heavier. Disappointed as now I need to either pick it out myself, or end up with concrete in my garden, which will never breakdown

We've had wood delivered twice this winter from the Green Centre and both times have been really positive. The wood is excellent quality redwood and burns exremely well. It's also really well-priced compared to other companies out there, and delivery was very fast and convenient. The drivers both times have been super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Customer service was absolutely lovely over the phone and very helpful. Dirt was ordered at 4pm and delivered by 10:30am the next day. Driver was also friendly and helpful. Recommend.

A very friendly reception however a couple of things went wrong here. The order came a day after I was told, and no-one communicated this to me until I rang. Secondly when they arrived, no-one knocked or rang to let me know they were here and without asking dumped the grass on my verge out front. I didn't even realise for a while so anyone could have helped themselves. Perplexing!

I'm so impressed with this company. Not only was the personal service friendly and efficient, but the quality of the firewood was great, a good mix of well dried hardwoods and my favourite, red gum. The delivery guy was so obliging considering the difficulty of the site (an incredibly steep driveway) and every last log made it out of the tip tray. The end result, 1 tonne of mixed firewood which had been legitimately weighed proved to me that I've been getting right royally reamed by my previous supplier. Such a pleasant change to be treated honestly and like a human being rather than just a source of money. My new heroes. Thank you Green Centre.

I recently ordered 5m3 of Turf Loam and 35m2 of Sir Walter Buffalo Turf. Sales team (via phone) were delightful to deal with. Very knowledgeable and professional. Answered all my queries over several different calls. Each time they were able to locate my account/order very quickly. Soil and Turf deliveries were as scheduled. Deliveries went smoothly and drivers were accommodating to my requests. I will certainly deal with this mob again. Very professional.

Overall great products from The Green Centre, however there was an issue that my drive way opening was too small for their truck. The driver was very friendly but the manager on the phone was quite rude. He said "I am looking at Google maps and it has to fit", I said "no, it does not, I am looking at it right now and it doesn't fit". So then he tells me "we only have one size truck, it fits every driveway, it has to fit!" Anyway the manager decided that he will send the truck back (for another delivery fee of $75) once I have made the driveway wider which I agreed to. Anyway turns out they have smaller trucks when they next arrived, they turned up at random times. Very disorganised and struggle with flexibility.

The Green Centre were great in delivering one tonne of double split firewood. They delivery was on time and the driver was friendly and polite. We are now enjoying warm fires during this very cold snap.

Native mulch delivered on two occasions, super easy to order online and it came very fast with delivery slots of my choosing. Mulch is great quality, delivery people friendly, called to check arrival time and again super helpful and friendly too! Will definitely be ordering again if we need more, which we likely won’t as they kindly provided more than we asked for 👏

This company is awesome - now I have a great looking nature strip. I made several changes to the delivery and order - and they were OK with all of them! Top Marks!
