Let me start off by saying what a fun vibrant coffee shop to top off your dinner with! Spacious and cool decor. What to expect: - Amazing hot Yemeni tea and coffee - Delicious fresh pastry desserts - Friendly staff - Cool fun ambiance to hang out with family and friends - Very reasonable prices - Expect crowds on weekends Well done Qahwah House! Now expand to Naperville!

Iced mocha cafe with honeycomb cheese bread was the perfect treat for a beautiful Sunday. Today the store wasn’t too crowded which was nice but there is always adequate seating. The staff ladies are always helpful and my time here is well spent.

Love this place. اليمن السعيد.. cardamom and ginger infused coffees and chai. The desserts are fresh and flavorful. I would probably ask for less sugar in my next coffee order. The space is immersive and beautiful.

Absolutely loved! Open the door, and enter to Yemen! The whole place is incredibly rich with culture and flavors! Amazing people and delicious food/coffee. Definitely go there. I tried Adeni Chai/Tea, Khaliat Alnahl, and Mofawar Coffee. I’d suggest to try small size because it was too much for me to finish even the small.

This is the best Yemeni café in Illinois. The coffee beans come from the finest and best farms in Yemen. They have a special and distinctive flavour. Also, Adeni tea is cooked in specific quantities to give the wonderful flavour. The baked goods give you the full experience. You will enjoy every piece. I worked in this place for a year. To be honest, it was the best experience I had in America. I salute the people in charge of this café. They are very respectable people, and my relationships with them are more than just an employee. They are all brothers. I thank everyone I worked with. As for most visitors to this place, they are very nice and respectful. Thank you everyone. Khaled 🤍

An excellent coffee shop with lots of specialty drinks and a great selection of treats. The seating area is spacious and inviting. There is also plenty of free parking in the lot. This is definitely a great place to check out

Friend of mine recommended this coffee shop, as she is Yemeni as well and I’ve been wanting to go for a while now. Well today I took a ride from Chicago and it was well worth it. The quality of the coffee is something indescribable. I really loved it and am willing to take another ride and go back soon.

Very nice selection of teas and coffees. Staff seemed to not know answers about their coffee - “how is jubani brewed?” And the staff in general could be trained better. They seemed to be low on confidence - referring specifically to cash register staff. But the coffee selection makes up for it. Thank you.

Very unique coffee shop with decent seating inside. There is a variety of different coffees and teas that you can order. The Vanilla Latte was great and I'm looking forward to trying the Chai next time. The employees were friendly.

Visited the famous Qahwah house, it was crowded as expected with lines out the door. The Yemeni latte was amazing along with the honey comb bread which was warm and nominally sweet. The atmosphere was really unique. The mofawar coffee pot stole the show, the aroma, taste and texture was out of this world. Would highly recommend checking them out! Will be coming back with friends.

A Vibrant Tea Experience at Qahwah House in Lombard! it was a tea/coffee lover's paradise with a lively atmosphere. The tea/coffee choices are extensive, and each sip is a burst of delightful flavors. Whether you're a fan of traditional teas or looking for unique blends, this place has something for everyone. Some eatables are also available. The ambiance at Qahwah House is bustling, with mostly young people enjoying their tea and socializing. It's a great spot for meeting friends or spending some quality time. However, be prepared for a short wait time during peak hours. The good news is that the turnover is quick, so you won't have to wait too long.

I went to Kahwah house first time. Even though it was Monday at 9:30 pm and this place was jam packed. Love the interior. Waited in the line but ordering was smooth and pick up. I ordered adheni chai (desi chai with cardamom and other spices). As they say, chai was very hot. 🔥 🔥 Nice seatings. Atmosphere with smell of cardamom was great. Absolutely must! This is not on Qahwah house rather customers who comes to visit and litter around. I was very disappointed to it outside of the cafe.

Qahwah House is a delightful a delightful place for coffee or tea and conversation. Today, was second visit. It will not be my last. I took one of my son-in-laws with me and introduced him to Yemenis coffee. We had a great visit with fantastic coffee. The atmosphere made the coffee all the more enjoyable. He had a cup of Sana’ani and I had Junani.

Taste - adeni chai was yum. We ordered two pastries Sabaya and Khaliat Alnahi with honey on the side and they were sweet and savory. Service - good but this place is so popular that there was constantly people standing in line. It took a while for our food to be ready but it was worth the wait. Atmosphere- communal. Nice study and chat areas. I love that a lot of people from the Middle Eastern cultures were guests that dine here which is a good sign of authentic food + drinks.

The style is very warm and modern. The Yemeni/Arabic coffee style is something new and delicious (and very hot). We got the cream+cardamom drink and while it smelled extremely strong it was pleasantly sweet. Even the buttery croissant was delicious ♥️ ☕️ Also very quiet. Good for studying Edit to add: I ordered the Yemeni Iced Tea to go and it’s also tasty. It’s spiced and lightly sweetened. Shame we don’t live here, would come back anytime.

Experience the Yemeni chai and coffee with the perfect ambience of middle eastern touch! With a coffee roaster in the facility, you can live, drink and experience the authentic coffee and chai. The Adeni chai is not just a drink but an experience you take home!! Lots of bakery savories and sweets. Must try the honey comb bread. Great texture and taste. Goes perfectly well with chai.

Adeni Chai and 2 of their most popular pastries. That puffy cheese one was incredible. The chai is good but was too much for 2 chai drinkers. Hehe maybe that's why 4 cups were given- better for 4. We drank it all but then got chai drunk hehehaha. Beautiful spot with outdoor seating too with even more parking back there.

Decor and ambience of this place is great. It gets super busy and its understandable as everything they have is of very high quality. We tried Yemeni tea and it was splendid. Will definitely return to try other stuff on the menu

Unique wholesome experience! This is an excellent place to go to after dinner or for a nice chat with friends. The coffee bursts with flavor. In my view, this is how coffee was meant to be enjoyed. The restaurant serves coffee in pots, mostly with Yemeni traditional flavors. They also serve single serving drinks. The servers are friendly, energetic, and awesome. This is a Chicago area must-visit coffee shop.

I am not big fan of small crowded places. However, I tried this place and the tea was amazing. I wish if they can do someting to reduce noise and make it more quite like playing music or something. I could not handke the lowd noise of people talking with eco.

First visit, not sure what to expect. Tried the Arabic coffee and a Sabaya. The coffee was fantastic and the pastry was excellent. Had a seat and enjoyed everything. Really want to return and try the Adeni Chai and honeycomb. Recommend.

Delicious and exciting coffee and pastries. I love the atmosphere and the aromas. And I love how lively the cafe is, even at 10PM! A great place to gather with friends and family.

You have to go to Qahwah House and try all the drinks and treats!! Everything is great! The owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming. The honeycomb bakery treat was so delicious and I enjoyed the Yemen latte and Iced Qishr!

Had a great cup of coffee at this cafe. There were quite a few choices and I am not well versed with the selection of coffee choices and the barista helped me choose the right one for me to try. I loved how the cup was presented, felt very local coffee house vibe. The machine in the middle of the cafe was really neat to see up close. The coffee was strong and made my friends starbucks look like something off the kids menu. There was plenty of seating and everything was very clean.

Fantastic authentic Yemeni coffee; from personal experience in the Yemen. I just wish there was a pick up option or an online order and pick up option call because this place is super busy as a result of its awesome products. Very good service otherwise, and fantastic product. Of course I threw in my own picture of the dragon blood tree from the actual island of Socotra, as this establishment reminds me of that magical place.

Every pastry we got was absolutely delicious. The coffee was amazing. We weren’t sure what to get and the staff was so helpful with recommendations. We went in on a Sunday morning and it was pretty empty, so service was quick and there is plenty of seating. Highly suggest checking them out!

Tried this place this morning and it was wonderful. Fresh flavorful chai and coffees with unique ginger and cardamom make it a hit. Also tried the pastries, and we were very impressed. Plus great service! We will definitely be back, try if you are nearby!

I heard the hype of this place, and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 10:30pm on a Friday night and the line was outside the door. I realized it must be that good if people would wait this long. In fact, we liked this place so much that we visited three times during our recent visit to Chicago. I recently came back from Dubai and was hooked on "Karak chai" which is prominent in the Middle East. Qawah House had the Adeni chai which is very comparable. It's a perfect harmony of flavors and aromas that instantly transport you to a world of delight. The blend of spices is just right, creating a well-balanced and comforting experience with every sip. From the moment I stepped into the cozy ambiance of this charming café, I knew I was in for a treat. We tried the cheese bread and pistachio tart which we delightful. On subsequent trips, we had the chocolate cake and croissant, as well as the cold chai drinks. I wish they had more of these locations. We'll be coming back again the next time we visit Chicago.

I took my mom and husband here as we are fans of Adeni Chai. This place lived up to the expectations, I tried their Adeni Chai and loved it. My husband and mom tried authentic Yemen coffees which they didn’t like much but, its just that they didn’t like cardamom and other flavors in coffee. We also loved their honey comb.
