Lovely walks and views, and right next to the cafe/ restaurant. Lots of space for picnics, toilets and playground on site.

I had been going to picnic Point for several years without knowing that there is another lookout over table Mountain. The lower lookout can be walked to or driven to from the carpark to the right of the main lookout. Lovely BBQ areas have fantastic views from a well maintained area with amenities.

On our way back from a school holiday trip in Stanthorpe. We did a side trip to grab some brunch at Picnic Point. We were impressed by the spectacular view it offered; the best vantage point to see the whole of Toowoomba. The view is magnificent plus there is a manicured garden surrounding the area. There is also a restaurant which offers a great view of the city. Do not pass this place if you are somewhere around the area. Highly recommended!

What a great place Although only negative was the public amenities, they were rather untidy looked like they hadnt been attended to, but apart from that 1 thing it is amazing, there are walking tracks for those that are interested in that type of thing, the views are amazing amd the waterfall is great for that perfect holiday snap.. The restaurant is great nice to sit down and have a couple of scones and cream and a coffee, while wife had a slice of strudel and a milkshake all for about $30. There is also an extensive menu as well for those that want breakfast/ lunch. Staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable.. Highly recommended

Nice and quite good place to relax and the wildlife and the view. Plenty of things to do, from enjoying the view to going for a walk. There are a few walking tracks to choose from. There is a play ground and bbq areas, toilets are close by to. And a cafe as well. Most of the area is wheelchair friendly, some of the tracks are. Good place for the whole family. Highly recommend going to have a look. 😊😊

Nice place to visit on the way to/from flower festival. Great views and loads of people this time of year. A couple of flower beds to admire as well as the 180 degree landscape. Good secure railing and a small water feature are good if you have kids. Whilst we didn't stay long, there was a restaurant which appeared to be dog friendly with one happy dog and owner looking out at the views in the outside seating area. There was also a stall to purchase fresh flowers and an icecream cart. Plenty of parking. Managed to see some wildlife and said hello to a hungry kookaburra.

Stunning views of table top mountain, especially at sunset or sunrise. There's a restaurant nearby with similar views, alongside a few walks nearby including a small waterfall. Parking is quite limited during peak times and this lookout and park was definitely a great stop when visiting Toowoomba.

Less than a 10 minute drive from the Visitor centre in Toowoomba to a pleasant park with great views across the ranges. There is an elevated cafe which i'm sure had great views, however we just did a short easy walk for my pictures and took a pic nic. It's a good location for all age groups but limited wheel chair access.

It's always a great place to visit. There are lots of options for things to do: a picnic with the family, fun playground equipment for the kids, including the Witch's House playground, beautiful hiking trails, and magnificent views. The cafe has great selections for breakfast and lunch, and they do a great Devonshire Tea: seating either inside or outside. Wonderful function rooms are also available, making the most of the spectacular views with full-length, panoramic windows.

Place is a bit upmarket in some ways. Decor is nice. View is incredible. Meals were excellent. Staff were pleasant, well presented and confident but perhaps under trained in hospitality. They didn't know the menu or have any real knowledge about dietary requirements. Menu had limited choices for dietary requirements (GF etc) and there were no vegan or vego meals, only one vegan meal option. In comparison even pubs these days have stand alone, delicious vegan meals. Also a little on the expensive side in my view. I had the $27 salad. It was fabulous but that's a lot for a salad. Our table could all pay separately, so that was great. I'd go there again.

The scenery was alright. Just mountains and trees. The parkland facilities are quite interesting to entertain yourself for an hour or two with swings and a colourful seesaw. There is a restaurant with a clearer mountain view. Plenty of clean toilet spots and the restaurant also sell hand painted cards and paintings. Great place for souvenir.

This place is a great picnic spot and a lovely lookout point. Beautiful flowering trees along the way (Jacarandas). We did a bit of walking and stopped at the waterfall. This place is best for an easy walk and for spending time with loved ones.

A visit to Toowoomba isn't complete until you've been to Picnic Point. Stopped in for a coffee and brownie, and enjoyed the afternoon glow of the setting sun to the North East. The colours change constantly as the sun sinks way out West over the flat plains of the Darling Downs.

Nice view of the Lockyer Valley from here. Has nice cafe with views. Good for a Sunday afternoon short trip with the kids as there are few playing grounds here which they will enjoy.

What a great place to watch the sunrise over the valley. On arrival you'll find ample parking spots surrounded by the playground, covered picnic tables and beautiful gardens. There are plenty of Good vantage points to look over the valley and even grab some great photos. I've not checked any of the walking trails out yet but while enjoying the vantage point I did notice a few leading away from the lookout. (Next time) I cant wait to take a time lapse of the sunrise next time I'm in the area

Such a beautiful place to go for a little walk and see different attractions in the one place! An amazing view with the most beautiful waterfall will definitely have to come back for a picnic 🧺

Excellent playgrounds right behind the lookout and another just on the other side of the street. Plenty of parking. To get to the bottom of the man made (yet lovely) waterfall go along the hedges to the left of the top of the waterfall. Its magical at the bottom with a rainforest-y feel.

Came here with our visitors and they're very impressed with the view and Lookout. There are plenty of tables and chairs, shaded areas, children's playground for people to picnic, chill and hangout. There's a restaurant/cafe where you can dine and enjoy the view.

Beautiful lookout. Very well presented, seating, guardrails and gardens. All overlooking Gatton and beyond towards the coast. Plenty of parking. Unfortunately we didn't get to try out the cafe as it was closed when we were there.
