Called on Sunday to bring my elderly dog in with health issues who fell off the bed and could not walk, screaming in pain and was told to bring him in at 2p. My dog could not go through anymore health issues that could not be cured and it was time to let him go and end his pain. I told the lady, my 12 year old dog needed euthanized. He was older and I knew he would not survive surgery and I wanted him out of pain. Arrived at 1245p because I would rather wait in the lobby then at home. Was met at the door by a young lady with long dark hair who could not have been ruder!!!! She immediately said we were too early and your appt isn’t until 2p. I said I understand but I would rather wait there then at home. She barked back at me that we would be waiting a very long time, rolled her eyes and stomped off. Another couple came to the door holding a large dog and so the lady didn’t have to come out from the back, I opened the door to let them in and was scolded by the same lady pointing her finger at me telling me not to touch the door. She came out and let them in and angrily told them they would have to wait and went to the back without asking what was wrong. I was there to have my dog euthanized, not a nail trim, and the worker was beyond rude with no empathy or compassion. I left and went to another hospital where I was treated professionally and humanly. My dog deserved so much better then your hospital. After reading the replies from the hospital on negative reviews, confirms my experience. Yes, you are busy! Yes, we had to wait! Yes, you have more critical patients! Yes, I get that but the level of rudeness from the lady working there was unacceptable. Your hospital takes no accountability for their rude employees.

take your sick animal here! i never write reviews but this is so important to me i needed to share. i was absolutely devastated when i saw my baby chameleon stop eating, drinking, going to the bathroom, not being very active, and showing very dull colors. i have had 3 past chameleons so i set my enclosure up how i normally would. i knew nothing on my end changed by the way i was caring for my baby. i drove over an hour and a half in heavy rain and traffic to come here not knowing what to expect. the lady’s at the front are amazing. IMMEDIATELY took my chameleon back to be cared for while i was still filling out paper work because they could see she was dying. dr lee is absolutely amazing. she was so bubbly but also hit me with the cold hard facts right away which i personally appreciated. she was so gentle when handling my week baby and did more than i could have asked. she prescribed an antibiotic and a eye gel because my baby had an eye infection as well. all of my questions were answered no matter how silly i sounded because i was so worried. as for pricing, i was very very impressed with the end cost. thank you pet emergency center! i have attached a photo of my chameleon for reference of her sickness

I'm not one to write many reviews but I felt compelled to after tonight's visit. Today was not an easy day for our family. Our beloved cat Bernie of only 9 years had to be put to rest. Unfortunately there was nothing else we could do and the end of the road was driven today. I have to say, Ashley was a saint with us today. She made an extremely difficult situation for us easier, and was there with us from start to finish. Our cat felt no pain, suffers no more and is playing in heaven. This Emergency Center legit cares about you and your animals. The head veterinarian is fantastic and I've told my wife on many occasions, I wish he could of been our full time vet. I'm super grateful that in any emergency, he is the individual that I trust with my animal's life. If you have an emergency, trust me when I say this is the place to bring your pet. Thank you for helping our baby not suffer anymore, and thank you so much for being great to us. God bless you guys. - Kristian C.

So I was cautiously optimistic when I arrived. I have a vet for my animal however he did not want to perform a surgery that she needed which was to be spayed. I had mixed emotions about fixing her and I later learned that uterine issues will occur and cause major health problems. I brought my Cane Corso in to see her regular vet and he told me that she had an infection in her uterus and needed to be spayed but he did not have the time to do it which I found really upsetting because I’ve been going to him since my dog was a puppy. I went to another vet and they told me she needed an emergency spay but they couldn’t do it either. At this point my stress level was through the roof and I had been searching for somebody for quite some time and made many phone calls all day. Later on that evening my neighbor called and ttold me to go to pet emergency centers. I went to the one off of Cypress Creek. When I pulled up I wasn’t sure of the place since the outside was a little unassuming but when I walked in it was so clean and the staff were so nice! I was just so impressed considering I have such a large dog. They were just so welcoming to her and I could tell that even calmed my dog since she has major anxiety during the visits ! I would recommend this hospital 100% All My questions and concerns were answered and I feel very satisfied with my experience. Thank you!

Horrible customer service! Our dog passed away on Sunday morning and the lady working was very rude and snarky. We had never been in this situation before and she kept cutting us off and saying “stop talking and let me talk” when we were just asking simple questions. You would think she would show some compassion but not even the slightest. She is extremely unprofessional and if we had a second option and didn’t have a car with 4 children and a deceased dog inside we would have drove somewhere else. Don’t take your dog here if you expect any type of decency. She needs grief training!!!! Also, the wait time is ridiculous, the parking lot and inside was empty but she had us waiting outside for over 30 min.

The staff are very compassionate and professional. I am grateful I was able to seek care for my pet fancy rat on a holiday weekend when I couldn't find any other veterinarians open today 1/17/2021 that would treat a fancy rat which is typically considered an "exotic animal." Scheduling the appointment was easy, and when we arrived they brought us in right on time. I had the best possible experience you can have when you're worried and stressed about your furbaby.

The staff is so friendly and caring. Renata Schneider saw my dog and she was absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to squeeze my dog in to their very busy schedule because he was having hives and I was in and out in less then an hour. I can’t express enough how much calmer I feel knowing my dog is okay and I’m so grateful to the amazing staff. The price wasn’t too bad either, considering Emergency vets can be quite pricey. Ollie and I both thank you so so much!

The vet that was on staff was very sympathetic, professional and knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns and advised me on how to avoid further bladder/cystitis issues for my cat. The staff was professional and I was out of there in no time. The cost was affordable for the care I received. I would definitely recommend this center for after hours emergency care for your fur baby.

I showed up here with my dog around 9:15am on a Sunday who has been coughing the whole night prior. He currently has bronchitis. The coughing got really bad last night where he was having issues breathing. I showed up to this center they told me that they were in the middle of switching doctors for the morning and that I should call back around 10:30am. I call back 10 minutes before 10:30am and they tell me they’re not accepting patients until 11am. Are you kidding me? You guys are a pet emergency center and my dog isn’t feeling well and you’re telling me you’re not going to help me? I was too tired to even yell due to being up the whole entire night trying to comfort my dog. I am so disappointed and so upset of how careless whoever the girl was that I talked to. I could have literally spent my time trying to make my dog feel better than wait. If there was an option to give zero stars I would.

This past Saturday I brought my beloved dog of 11 years to PEC. I suspected he had ingested a poisonous plant or poisoned rodent. The vet very sadly determined it to be a ruptured spleen and large internal tumor which brought on severe internal bleeding. It truly was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life, but the Doctors and staff could not have been more kind, compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and patient. They allowed us as much time with our sweet, sweet baby, in a private room where we were able to say our devastating, final goodbyes and the Doctor let us embrace him as he drew his last breath. It was certainly tragic, but PEC made sure that he was comfortable and that the environment was completely peaceful for the dog and for us. Horrible situation, but if it had to be, I truly could not have asked for better and I’m very particular about veterinary care for my dogs.

I can't thank PEC, Dr Murray and the staff enough. I had to say goodbye to my poor cat Jake, yesterday. An awful experience, made tolerable. Dr Murray is an amazing vet, kind and compassionate. She assured me that I was making the right choice. I'll always be grateful. 🙏

I would give this place zero stars if possible. After first speaking to them on the phone to make sure they could even treat my guinea pig, I drove 2 hours to this office. Upon arrival I'm handed paperwork and told "there are two critical patients in the back and it will be a wait". No big deal, I understand, but I'm then left upfront alone for almost 2 hours!! Not a single person came back upfront to take my paperwork or even check on/evaluate my guinea pig who was in need!!! No one at the reception desk to speak to, even after calling out for someone. We were flat out ignored and forgotten. They can't try to say they couldnt hear me calling out for someone, because I could hear them talking in the hallway!! This is DEFINITELY NOT the place to take your pet in an emergency. **EDIT** They are trying to say they have no record of me in their paperwork, but of course they wouldn't BECAUSE NO ONE EVER CAME BACK UP FRONT TO COLLECT MY PAPERWORK!!! I WALKED OUT WITH MY PAPERWORK AFTER WAITING SO LONG! Instead of some accountability and being apologetic for me making a 4 HOUR ROUND TRIP FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, I'm told I was never there and "must have the wrong place" IF I HAVE THE WRONG PLACE, THEN HOW DO I HAVE THE PAPERWORK IN MY PHOTO? We were buzzed in to the front waiting room and just left there. This place is a joke

This was one of the best vet experiences I've ever had. Dr Murray and the staff were so friendly and nice, and they treated my dog with such care. I was just coming from a different emergency clinic where they took a look from afar at my dog's swollen face, said it's probably an allergic reaction and made me wait several hours just to tell me later that it's was going to be a much longer wait and I should go somewhere else. I'm glad they did, I'm so happy to have found this place. It really seems like they care about animals and I'm very thankful for their help.

I never leave reviews but I just had to because Chelsea was incredible. At 4 in the morning she answered all of my questions over the phone to determine if I should bring my puppy in, and once I got there she was so helpful and walked me through everything. She was so loving and careful with my puppy and you can tell the people here really love the animals.

Saturday afternoon my baby girl Princess Blanca was having really bad seizures for the first time and I don’t know what to do!!. Rushed my baby to 24 pet emergency center and immediately they grabbed her from me and took her to the back!. What was even more shocking is how Paige, the doctor and everyone (I am remember there names) there was willing to work with me to save my baby!. Paige went out her way to make sure that my princess was gonna be seen and taken care of!. I don’t know what to say or how to thank them!. Princess is home now and playing like nothing ever happened!. When I picked her up later that night, you can tell they took really good care of her because she’s not a people person dog 😂!. They explained to me what to watch out for and if anything come up bring her back!. It’s Monday now and she’s wild like a child… Thank you so much You guys!. I really appreciate everything you guys have done for Princess 😊 🙏🏾

Needed emergency care for our dog on two occasions. The staff at Pet Emergency Center were kind, compassionate and very professional. They cared for Jax quickly and explained his treatment and need for follow up care. Highly recommend them and would not hesitate to visit them again.

The Pet Emergency Center always provides outstanding care for my dog Snapper as well as for my mom’s dog Lulu. Lulu actually needed surgery. We were all so worried for our little Lulu, but the staff was compassionate, efficient, and demonstrated a high level of expertise. I am grateful for their prompt attention and the positive outcome for Lulu.

All four paws won't stop bleeding, on a holiday weekend, what do you do? Lucky for me, I called Pet Emergency Center. Paige answered the phone. She listened to me and somehow understood me through my nervous rant. She tried to help me over the phone but we felt better bringing our dog in. Once there, Paige was so nice and comforting to us and especially Whiskey. He was very anxious but everyone was so good with him. Exactly what you need and want when your baby is hurting. Dr Schneider came in and explained what she needed to do. Then someone else came in to explain what the charges would be. Everyone was compassionate and helpful. We left with Whiskey all bandaged up, medication in hand and full instructions on how to care for him. We even received a call the next morning from Paige checking to see how Whiskey fared overnight. We took Whiskey to the right place and couldn't be happier with how he was treated. Hopefully, we won't find ourselves in an emergency situation any time soon, but if we do, we will be right back there.

I had a truly disappointing experience at the Pet Emergency Center. I rushed there with the hope that they would extend a helping hand, but the assistant at the front desk displayed a heartless attitude. It was evident that our dog's condition didn't even register with her. Instead of showing concern, she prioritized pushing us to sign paperwork and wouldn't even spare a glance at our distressed pet until we paid. Despite spending a significant amount of time and money, their lack of action was disheartening. I strongly advise against going to this facility. In addition to that, the hardest part was having to make the difficult decision to put our beloved pet down and leave him at the facility. While we were grieving and emotionally vulnerable, the assistant's behavior became even more callous. She showed a complete lack of empathy and seemed eager to rush us out of the facility. It was an incredibly distressing experience during an already painful time. I cannot stress enough how strongly I advise against going to this facility.

I brought my Westie in late last night. She was taken into a treatment room very quickly. Dr. Michael assessed her, ran tests and provided a thorough summary of his findings. He was unhurried, professional and kind. Vet care is expensive but The visit was reasonable and the costs associated with an overnight stay, testing and meds were no more that my regular Vet would charge. I was very satisfied with the care that was received.

I called pet emergency center because my rabbit was looking ill, she had a stuffy nose and was not as playful as usual. The person that answered the phone was very friendly and said there's an emergency going on now but at 10:00pm another doctor comes in so I should bring her in at 10pm. When I arrived and rang the bell the lady that came to the door asked me if I called first I said yes I was told to come in at 10 she seemed annoyed and said she probably told me to call at 10. She remained rude and dismissive through the questioning. The doctor came in and was very friendly said he was worried about a few different things and since she didnt eat since the morning he was concerned about that which i understood everything he said. Then the mean lady came back to go over the plan. One was 390.00 and the other was over 1000.00 I said it's too expensive and asked for the antibiotics and the 150.00 visit charge which would have totaled 190.and i said if she still feels sick ill bring her to a vet but I think she will be OK...the lady became visibly upset telling me the rabbits going to die without the rest of the treatments and she stormed out of the room it was so embarrassing and my kids started begging me to do what she says or I'm going to be the blame for the rabbit dying. I had to use my credit card to pay 390 and I am still so upset with the way I was treated. I should not have been judged or belittled and I should have been able to make a choice and not have to be shamed for it. I should have been treated with kindness and respect. The rabbit is fine and I still believe the antibiotics would have been enough-I have a bag full of "critical care food" that was supposed to save her life but she started eating as soon as I put her back in the cage that night.

I went to a 24 emergency vet prior to this and waited over 3 hours and still had not been seen. So I googled nearby places and this place popped up. They were professional and courteous and my dog was seen and treated immediately. I was in and out within an hour. All the treatments were reasonably priced and they didn’t do anything without consulting with me first about what the cost would be. I highly recommend this place they made my dog feel a lot better and very quickly too.

My 12 yr old Maltese, Topper, had been diagnosed with lymphoma, but other than swollen lymph nodes, he was feeling fine - until he suddenly wasn't. It was the 4th of July and I couldn't wait to end his misery and pain. I'm disabled and had to get paratransit service to get us to the Clinic. I held Topper as he left. Dr Schneider was wonderful at such a heartbreaking time. So glad she was on duty. Topper got the best care possible en route to the Rainbow Bridge. My thanks to the entire staff. 🐾

Came in after our dog ate chocolate. We called ahead, & before coming in, they did a good job of probing to learn more about the situation (asking how much was eaten, dog size & breed) so that we could make the best choice for our dog. Once we got there, we were seen quickly. Staff was incredibly nice, & Dr. Kiser did a great job of keeping us posted throughout the process. Super grateful that the Pet Emergency Center could make a stressful situation as easy as it could be!

My six week old puppy was bit by a dog and I went to an emergency vet like seven minutes away at first from this location. They took my pup, put her in a cage while I was in my car for three hours. To finally just look her over for $125 to give me a 4k bill. I called here and told him what happened and there was just a huge difference in how my pup and I were treated. The other place did not care about my dog. They wanted to sedate and do a unnecessary surgery on a six week old puppy. Here they waived the Standard visit fee because I had just paid it at another emergency vet clinic to literally get no help. They took care of her So swiftly and with so much care and I was out of there for under $200 it’s absolutely insane the difference having a heart and actually caring for your clients can make.

Rosary Pea poisoning, barely humans survive this if ONE is chewed, our dog had 6 in her belly. They worked with poison control and acted quickly. 2 days ICU and she is doing better. The staff was so kind and loving. Thank you. Spread the word it's an invasive vine all over our state and globally.

Dr. Kiser and the tech at front desk on 10/10 were excellent. My senior dog was acting off during the night and at 5 am started showing more urgent signs of pain and discomfort (shaking, panting, pacing). Blue pearl had no doctor available, as usual. I called here and they were calm and caring and advised me if I could make in before discharges started I would be seen rather quickly. That was the truth! Seen right away. Likely ear infection and borderline fever. Pain in ear and neck area. Medications started immediately. What is most amazing, the tech sent over my records to my regular vet without me even asking and by the time I called my regular vet 2 hours later for a follow up appointment that afternoon they said 'we received your records from the ER and we will squeeze you in anytime this afternoon'. Thank you for a fast/accurate exam, analysis and treatment plan. No surprise add ons or unnecessary tests were recommended. His regular vet was able to pull out some debris from deep in his ear later that day and started oral Abx as well. Hampton is starting to improve and I am very grateful to Pet Emergency Center and Dr. Kiser and staff.

Oh my gosh I’ve never experienced more kindness from people on multiple occasions! On Sunday by 21 year old turtle wasn’t doing so great and Dr. Schneider was so kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable about what was going on and got my baby started on meds. Then tonight my turtle wouldn’t open her mouth for me to give her her meds and so I brought her back and the vet tech was able to give her the meds. In a world where it seems kindness is rare, it’s so great to know that it still does exist and by people who care about your pet and their well-being. I’ve had my baby girl since I was 5. To me she’s not just a turtle. She’s my best friend who has been with me through life’s ups and downs and if it weren’t for the doctors and staff here I’m not sure she would be on her way to a full recovery to join me on more milestones. Thanks so much!!!

I had one of the more frightening moments of my life today with my cat, that I had with me for more than 14 years, when he showed signs of being very ill. Like most people I at first googled how bad his condition was to see what needed to be done. Seeing the results put me in an even more dire mindset when I looked for the closest ER Vet to me and lucky enough, they popped up. From first phone call they were able to slowly bring me down from the metaphorical ledge. Once I got there, they went right to work to address the issue with my cat. They talked me through everything without talking down to me and even worked with me when issues came up. If there is ever a team that I would recommend for pet parents this is them. They turned what could have been my worst night into one with a light at the end of it. I can never thank them enough. They were kind, patient, thoughtful and so many more things that words cannot describe.

Our doggy spent a entire weekend hospitalized here, I honestly thought I was going to lose him. The team here went above and beyond for our baby. They took such great care of him and answered my 27927 calls and kept me updated throughout the entire time. The vet techs were incredible and DR Kiser was heaven sent. He was so sweet and caring and really took his time explaining everything to us. Thank you so much for helping our baby.

We arrived at the Emergency Center on Saturday night with our pet as she was experiencing a lot of discomfort. First impressions of the office, it was very clean with some art of various animals hung on the wall. It is a smaller care center but we were seen within 45 minutes. We were the only people in the lobby at that time. The staff was very friendly and asked many questions to get the right answers to treat our pet. Dr. Kiser tended to our pet and was very thorough and went above and beyond to determine the root cause of our pets pain. After an overnight hospitalization, it was determined that our pet had a tumor in her pelvic area that was causing so much pain. We made the decision to euthanize as the doctor had suggested that if we were to pursue further analysis and biopsies, it would have ultimately caused more pain. The doctor and staff was very empathetic and sincere about the situation and did not rush us to say our final goodbyes. The Doctor had worked the overnight shift and did not leave his shift until he was done seeing us and our pet. We wanted to thank the entire staff for their professionalism and empathy during this difficult time.
