Must hike location near SF. You get a great view of the bay. The hike was easy with about 1 hr to get to the summit. There were multiple view points along the trail. Would highly recommend!

We love the bar area, and are always looking for fun things to do whenever we visit. This holiday season we decided to hike Angel Island which was a great idea. The ferry over was nice and relaxing then the hike was novice-intermediate. We took some photos of our Michelada mix while we were at it. Work and play.

A must if visiting Angel Island. The hike to the top of Mt. Livermore isnt the easiest but the trail gradually climbs the mountain. There are various trails and fire roads on Mt. Livermore and the views are great. At the top are 360 degree views of the Bay Area and on a clear day you can see for miles. By far the best views in the Bay and on Angel Island.

This spot is not to be missed when visiting Angel Island. Beautiful views, easy to access hiking trails up to the top. Plenty of options including a fire path thatโ€™s well paved and some smaller trails. Views of all the bridges and Tiburon is an amazing place to take in all the scenery. Some picnic tables as well makes for a great place to take a break and get a snack.

Great view in sunny day! Too bad itโ€™s so cloudy & possible from fire smoke! Good hike to top of Mt. Livermore!

Amazing views of the bay. Bring sun protection as there are not trees at the top and is quite exposed. While there is a paved road around the island in order to get to the summit the trail is narrow and dirt. At the top there are a number of picnic benches.

Nice how to the top! Not too long. Perfect day hike destination. It could be super windy and cold, remember to bring a jacket.

Easy, clean & well maintained hiking trails, suitable for people of all ages. Flowers & butterflies along the trail, awesome panoramic views of San Francisco Bay, you can see Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.

Great 360 views of the bay surrounding Angel Island. Relatively easy hike to the top with a mixture of shady and sunny trails.

Hidden gem around SF. If you're visiting the city definitely give Angel Island a visit instead of the overhyped Alcatraz! Amazing views for a relatively easy hike via Northern Ridge trail (use Sunset trail only if you want a bigger challenge).

A nice little hike up to the top. It was completely blanketed with fog when I was there (around 1pm), but thatโ€™s just the risk you take. Fog passes quickly across the island.

Fun hike with amazing views. Steep so be prepared! Also kinda overgrown with ample amounts of poison oak. "Leaves of 3, leave it be!".

Amazing views. Also, love that there are a number of picnic tables to sit and take in the views! The hike to get here has a few steep points but totally manageable for an average hiker. Our group had kids from 9 yrs to 14 and they also loved it.

Not to challenging and also not too satisfying when you reach the top.
