Sunday
Brunch
was
underwhelming.
I
want
to
preface
this
post
by
saying
that
I
really
like
keg
n
kitchen
and
I’ve
been
coming
here
for
lunch,
bar
bites,
dinner,
and
drinks
for
some
time
and
I
can’t
recount
an
experience
that
was
disappointing.
Since
this
place
has
been
so
good
so
many
times,
I
decided
to
take
my
fiancé
here
for
a
Sunday
brunch.
I
would
not
recommend
the
brunch
to
a
friend.
There
are
better
brunches
in
the
area.
Our
server
Skylar
was
nice.
Shrimp
and
grits
were
awesome,
asparagus
fries
were
awesome.
No
side
plates
were
given
to
us
with
our
appetizer
so
we
both
ate
asparagus
fries
with
a
fork
and
knife
off
of
the
same
plate,
not
ideal.
I
ordered
a
beermosa,
half
beer
half
orange
juice.
The
bartender
served
it
with
ice,
I
don’t
like
ice
in
beer
or
orange
juice
so
I
asked
for
it
to
be
strained.
Bartender
told
me
to
order
no
ice
next
time
(as
if
I
knew)
while
handing
me
a
half
cup
of
beer
and
orange
juice.
Would
have
been
nice
if
the
drink
I
paid
$12
for
were
actually
full.
The
chicken
and
waffles
seriously
lacked
flavor.
The
chicken
looked
good
but
wasn’t
seasoned
at
all.
The
syrup
that
came
with
the
dish
was
just
syrup
it
didn’t
add
any
sweetness
or
flavor
whatsoever.
This
dish
was
explicitly
advertised
on
the
menu
so
I
expected
much
more.
