The PHS Pop up Garden on South Street is a great little oasis right in Philadelphia. They have quite a few options for beer, wine, cocktails, as well as food. The atmosphere is great, lots of different areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. They are dog friendly too. We all had a great time!

A little jewel in the midst of South Street. The cocktail garden is all outdoors, surrounded by plants and flowers. We had non-alcoholic drinks (mango lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and peach lemonade and Gingerbeer) and all were great. I was emotionally stalking the lovely lavender colored mojito which looked so mesmerizing but didn't partake. The fries were also very good- wavy and thick cut. The place was pretty crowded for a weekday so weekends are probably packed. Plan ahead.

We found this hole in the wall garden place as we are walking to another restaurant. The staff (Natalie) was so kind and welcoming. We decided to step. The establishment is magnificent super clean and the vibes are great! If you’re looking for a great vibe to spend some time outside and not feel like you’re in the city, but still be in the city this is the place to go. Tons of shade great lights, great music. Also pet friendly. This is the coolest place I’ve been to in Philly. We will definitely be back!

We recently stopped here to see what the pop up garden was all about. From the moment we walked in, everything and everyone was so nice. It's an outdoor venue highlighted by plants, trees and lights. The place is clean. The tables are wiped down between customers and the food and drinks are very good. Some of the food we tried...the hot dog, the shrimp cocktail, the chicken tenders and the hot chicken wrap. The fries are delicious! The servers are so very nice and that just adds to a great time. The food, very tasty, comes out hot and is really good. Glad we stopped by for a drink and a bite to eat. This place is really worth visiting.

Feels just like hanging out in your backyard with a bunch of friends. Real laid back, casual, diverse crowd and a few pups! Pretty good variety of mixed frozen drinks and cocktails as well as beer on tap and non alcoholic options. There's also a bathroom trailer on site with clean stalls. We've visited here the past couple of times we've been in Philly and will definitely go again if the weather is nice

What a lovely time here! If you're in the area it's worth a stop. The vibes were great! Quickest service for any drink place thanks to their useful app. We only purchased snack foods, but they were good.

Beautiful respite from the city with an amazing selection of drinks and food. The service was quick, and the bartenders were all super nice. There's also a ton of seating area, so it's a great place to go with a group. Definitely go early if you want to snag seats though. The fresh watermelon drink was delicious and dangerous because you couldn't taste it at all.

Really pretty outdoor space with lots of plants which I loved. It feels very nice being there. They have mixed drinks and beer options. The food selection is small but it’s ok if you want to come for mostly drinks. You can bring your pet which is awesome.

I always enjoy myself at this beer garden. There’s plenty of space to casually sit with friends and the ordering system is very simple and efficient. All you have to do is scan the QR code to order from your phone. The food is standard quality but the draft beer and cocktail list is what you’ll be looking to explore.

Great outdoor spot! Tons of seating in an adorable garden. You can order at the bar or on your phone from the table. They have a lot of frozen drinks that are sooo good. We loved the boozy frozen water ice, it was basically frozen pink lemonade. Did not try the food. Dogs welcome.

Sitting outside is fine in the summer months. Food and drinks are easily ordered on your phone, and delivered quickly. Fun atmosphere for groups.

Great ambience, food, and pretty good drinks. Taking off a star because the pitchers are pretty small, almost to the point where it’s unclear whether it’s economical to get one at all. The frozen drinks worked well and were worth it, but the non-frozen drinks (e.g. woodermelon) had so much ice in the pitcher that it basically felt like we were getting just two drinks and a whole bunch of ice for a greater price than if we had just gotten them separately. However, the food was all good, and the garden is super cozy. Highly recommend the boozy water ice.

Beautiful place but not great for large groups during early evening/happy hour. I went with a large group of coworkers (8 people) and struggled to hear people at the opposite end of the table. I think it was a combination of the music volume and the large number of people there. It's a shame too because again, it's a beautiful, cozy place with speedy service and great vibes. Also, I only got one drink and it was just okay. Not too memorable but others on my group enjoyed their drinks. I'd be interested in coming back with a smaller group to see if that's more comfortable.

A wonderful outdoor ambiance filled with plants, twinkly lights, and colorful chairs to enjoy some drinks n snacks. There's one large TV screen to watch whatever game is on. Glizzys are fire. Oh and they have gas heaters, so you're still comfy/cozy even on a chillier night. Love !

Went there for a work summer picnic. We got to try a variety of foods (burgers, fried chicken , nachos) all of which were delicious. The watermelon spritz mocktail was great and a Margarita was also delicious. Most importantly, the ambiance is magical! The staff was also very friendly.

The service using the app is SO fast. I don't know how they do it! Don't stand in line! Cheese curds, pretzel, chicken tenders ans sidewinder fries were all top notch! Great beer & mixed drinks selections too! We got a Paloma pitcher which did not disappoint! Beautiful garden features made this empty lot an amazing oasis!

A truly delightful spot for good conversation and beautiful ambiance. Pandemic-friendly outdoor space beautifully designed by the Horticultural Society. Staff were super friendly.

Such a lovely space and a nice spread of items available. Pours can be small for cocktails, but it's still a lovely place. Ordering from your phone to your table is super convenient. Getting a table for a number of people as a walk in can be tricky, but if you're willing to wait, something always clears up!

This is probably our favorite beer garden (and just bar in general) in the city. This year they have a contactless ordering system so you can order all your food and drinks directly to the table. Their service is incredibly fast and we never wait more than 5-10 minutes for food or drinks. Their cucumber drink is my favorite and everyone that has it loves it. Their hot chicken wrap is also really good and a bit spicy and the fries are amazing. The vibe here is perfect for any occasion and we love going on date night, with friends, or bringing family that’s visiting from out of town. We always have fun here. Highly highly recommend!

Happened upon this and it's so lovely! The space is large and accommodates a lot of people with safe distances. The garden is beautifully designed and well-cared for. The menu has several vegan/gluten free options and you can even sort by them on the ordering website - freaking amazing. Also loved the reminder to order a water with your drink. The drinks were also delicious, and they have some great non-alcoholic options. The service was wildly fast and sufficiently friendly. It seems like some portion of the money they make supports the Philly Horticultural Society, which makes this place A+, #1, and the best. Gratitude to the staff who make this happen and the team who came up with it. Excellent experience!!

Cool pop up beer garden in Grad Hospital area of downtown Philly. Amazing choice of beers, funky drinks, and groovy (crazy) bar food. Very crowded - make a reservation! Eat and drink like the locals!

The environment here was super cool. The plants and lights really created a great atmosphere. The staff was quick to bring out food and beverages we ordered on our phones via a mobile website. The nonalcoholic beverage I had was good. It was easy to make special dietary requests for the food items on the mobile website. I was pretty disappointed with the vegan Nashville chicken wrap. The tempeh was overly grilled and got too bitter to eat.
