Bad experience at the Aurora/Bainbridge store location. Went shopping on Friday, October 29th. Entered the store and no one said hello, even though there were plenty of girls running around with blue aprons on. Stared shopping the buy 3 get 3 items (had some coupons on me as well) when one of the workers stops her task of unpacking merchandise, and zooms around her cart to where I am and starts straightening up the stuff I was looking at. I wait till moves and goes back to her work and I shop that fragrance (Pure Wonder) again. I let what she did go. Before I came into the store I left my little backpack in the car and only brought my wallet and keys. I wanted to eliminate the need for folks to feel like they needed to follow me around the store. I then wondered over to another section of the sale and start shopping. Almost out of nowhere, the same girl comes zooming up again and starts fixing the stuff in the section I am literally trying to shop. This time I just stand there and stair at her until she notices and looks up. She says hi and zooms back to her cart of boxes. I go on shopping in the store where no one asks me if I'm finding everything okay or if I need any help. But I hear pleasant conversation with other customers around me. I get to the register and say hello to another girl. No response. She doesn't even look up at me. She finally acknowledges my existence by asking for a phone number. I pay and take my $58 bag full of lotions, soaps, candles, and body spray and leave. My mistake for going to that store. I should have went to my usual Bath and Body Works store in Macedonia, OH! At that store the employees actually treat you like they want you to spend money. But not only that, they treat you like they actually want you in the store. Aurora store, go shadow the Macedonia store to see what great customer service looks like. I have a good mind to go back and return everything and go rebuy it at Macedonia Bath and Body Works.

My only complaint is the business model. I sometimes want another of something I like. I don't want to have to wait another year and hope it comes back out.

Talk about the nicest store associates ever! They helped my 8 year old get all his valentines needs. They helped me use my coupons to the fullest.

Overall, just shop at a different location, any other location. This store has some pretty ridiculous “policies” that are actually just management discretion unlike any other bbw store. As someone mentioned, I too dealt w/ a cashier refusing my $16.50 reward coupon but for a $14.95 soap holder that I’ve gotten before. Also when I tried to exchange a $25.95 candle I had bought 3 days prior for $9.99, I was told I owed $16.50 to EXCHANGE it! I asked to pay the $.55 diff of the retail and they insisted I would pay $16.50 to exchange or keep the candle. This store and new “policies” have me ready to stop doing business w/ bbw all together.

Haven't purchased any items from B&BW for a while. All the hand soap scents have changed and they don't have the old stand-bys like sweet pea any longer

Everything smells the same. Staff are friendly enough based on what they're probably paid(I'm sure it's inadequately low). I crept in here looking for stocking stuffers for my daughters and realized that they'd hate me if I gave them any of these mosquito repellents

In and out really quick. Clean, everyone had on mask and we sanitized our hands when we walked in. Bought candles and wallflower refills. Saved almost $40 spent $67. Love the way my house smells all the time.

I was a regular customer at this location; however, this may have been my last visit. I shop in store and online often, so I am always getting the reward of a FREE item of YOUR CHOICE valued at up to $16.50. I have used this reward countless times for a SINGLE WICK candle which is valued at $15.50. Well, today the store decides that this coupon can only be used on body care items (which is printed NOWHERE on the reward lol). I explained to the saleswoman (who appeared to be new because she was unaware of a “today only” sale on room sprays), that I always use my reward on single wick candles. She insists that the reward can only be used for body care. I wasn’t in the mood to go back and forth with my unseasoned and uninformed saleswoman, however a little consistency and/ or clear guidelines for the free reward would have been appreciated. 🙄
