We had to make an emergency trip to the hospital in Invercargill from Queenstown and we were very luck to find accommodation at The Lodge at Transport World. Very impressed with our apartment. All boxes are ticked. Well appointed, clean, warm and cosy rooms. Highly recommend. The standard of these apartments are very high.

Amazing accommodation! Room was in pristine condition; super tidy, and modern. Easy check in with friendly and helpful staff. Beds and linen are bliss! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for accomodation in Invercargill!!

Fantastic stay, beautiful lodge suites. They are truly the perfect home away from home and the best location for visiting the adjacent transport museum. Even down to having the suite heated with lights on before our arrival after a long drive from Queenstown. Ging is the perfect host!

Fantastic stay again. The apartments are luxurious and have everything you could want. Spa bath, sky TV, lovely continental breakfast and great bed. Gas fire and aircon and beautifully presented and tidy. Definitely recommend!!

The Lodges looks quite ordinary from the exterior but once you open the door to your room it is luxury all the way. From the atmospheric fire, to the fully fitted out kitchen with ample breakfast supplies, to the heated floor in the vast bathroom everything is designed for comfort. We only stayed here because it is literally riģht across the road from Transport World but very glad we did.

The room was a warm welcome, the complimentary breakfast was ready for the morning, off rd parking, I will be back again in the near future

This place is amazing so clean and well presented. We stayed in the Toys nz room and it was funky as! Everything in the accommodation is very well thought out and considerate. Highly recommended! Lovely receptionist too

I give 10/10 for this stay - for product and for service. We loved that breakfast was put in our room each day so we could eat it at any time that suited us. We loved the decor and being able to wash and dry our clothes in our apartment. The shower had great pressure and everything was clean and serviced well. It was quiet. It was truly a delight to stay there.

Perhaps the best stay in Invercargill. Staff have been very helpful. The motel was converted from a retirement home, and very well done. Rooms are beautifully finished and beds are quite comfortable. Opposite the Transport World museum and in a quiet street. Also worth visiting the museum too.

These suites had new and upgraded interiors. We enjoyed the fireplace. A complete kitchen and dining room. The bathroom had an excellent glass shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh. The owner/manager and his wife were very helpful as we were not exactly familiar with NZ appliances.

Comfortable, Quiet, top end accommodation. Great service. Will be back.

Lovely accommodation, however not as good as previously. Windows need cleaning, tv in bedroom not working, and air con units over road at museum noisy at night. Prices have increased and probably bit over market rates in my view. Great spot, well located. Still enjoyed stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lodges! Di is a perfect host, and nothing is too much trouble. The apartment itself (we stayed in the two bedroom “NZ Toys” apartment) was wonderful. Everything is top notch, clean, modern and really exceeded our expectations. The continental breakfast trays are a nice touch. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

We stayed 4 nights in the Oyster room. Such a lovely home away from home. Warm, cozy and beautifully decorated. Everything you need there - highly recommend for a family with kids. We will definitely be back next time we are in town
