My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Cabot lodge for 2 nights at the tail end of our NZ holiday and what a wonderful way to finish our travels. An incredible place. Photos don’t do it justice. So idyllic it feels almost surreal. Despite the luxury and surrounds the hosts are so genuine, down to earth and helpful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you to all at Cabot lodge who made our experience so wonderful.

Brad and Breidi are the wonderful hosts at Cabot Lodge. A warm welcome awaits you as you arrive and are taken to your room and a drink of your choice arrives shortly after. The rooms are a home away from home, with the most amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the service and food were exemplary. We look forward to staying again.

What an amazing place! Brad and the team at Cabot Lodge made us welcome from the minute we arrived until we sadly had to return home. Outstanding food, service, atmosphere and location. Photos don't do it justice, such a beautiful way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you.

This week, we had an unforgettable stay @cabotlodge. Cabot Lodge is a luxury lodge set in a spectacular setting on Cathedral Peaks Station overlooking beautiful Lake Manapouri (Fiordland National Park). I love their story... Breidi grew up on the farm, then went to university, worked in the corporate world, met Brad, married and returned to the farm some 10 years later to start Cabot Lodge. Their passion for their business, their commitment to conservation, the amazing customer experience they offer, their personalized hosting, the beautiful rooms, the delicious food prepared by their talented chef made for an unforgettable stay. As an agritourism operator, they offer farm activities such as farm tours, beekeeping tours (Brad is the beekeeper!) and activities in the area. The food they serve is mostly from their own land; true 'farm to table' fare. We need more people like Brad and Breidi! This is what we want visitors to New Zealand from all over the world to experience.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Cabot Lodge for 4 nights, had the entire place to ourselves for most of the time, which made it even nicer. The hosts Brad and Briedie are helpful, attentive and responsive. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Pomona room and the fireplace provided a nice touch. The bathroom was spacious, with a shower and bath tub, and also warm thanks to the underfloor heating. The mini bar was well stocked and had a nice selection drinks including beer and local wines. Rod, the in-house chef went out of his way to ensure that we got to sample the best produce that the area has to offer through his culinary delights including Bluff Mountain Oysters, Trout, Venison, Lamb and Salmon. The desserts were also divine and we found ourselves in food comas after every dinner. The lodge is situated on a beautiful farm and there are a number of scenic walks available on the property. The 40°c outdoor hot tub was amazing, especially when the outside temperature was 5°c. We were also fortunate enough to have snowfall on our final day, which made every even more enchanting. A daily highlight was feeding the resident ponies (Al Capony and Pony Soprano) - they love apples! We had an amazing stay and would recommend Cabot Lodge to anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful, romantic getaway.

Brad and Breidi welcomed us to this beautiful lodge very warmly. Chloe and I felt at ease and well taken care of by the Cabot lodge team. Brad was very thoughtful and goes out of his way to try and make us feel right at home. We had packed lunches, great cocktails and dinner. This lodge is well situated and close to Milford sound if you are planning a road trip there. Otherwise enjoy the great hospitality, hot tub and great service!

Cabot lodge felt like the best of both worlds - the personalised service of a B&B with the luxury and privacy of a hotel. From the moment you arrive, everything is taken care of, including bookings and recommendations for activities around fiordland. The room we stayed in was well appointed with an amazing view. The food each day was fantastic. Nothing to fault! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day.

We booked this to have some luxury wind-down time at the end of a week’s holiday and discovered an experience that was so much more. The hospitality at Cabot is quite exceptional and we felt like we were saying goodbye to good friends when we reluctantly left this morning. Our deluxe room was simply divine and all the spaces in the lodge were thoughtfully setup, incredibly relaxing and extremely inviting. The food and wine were outstanding and Breidi, Brad and the team have an amazing attention to detail and passion for ensuring your stay exceeds any expectations. You won’t regret experiencing the magic of Cabot Lodge.
