Restaurant mit super Terrasse und schöner Aussicht

Ich war heute mit Freunden in diesem Restaurant und musste leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung machen. Auf meine höfliche Nachfrage nach einer veganen Option wurde mir von der Bedienung unfreundlich mit "Nein" geantwortet und als einzige Alternative Pommes angeboten. In einem Restaurant sollte es kein großes Problem sein, zumindest Gemüse in Olivenöl zuzubereiten. Stattdessen musste ich ohne Essen dabeisitzen, während meine Begleitung speiste. Die mangelnde Flexibilität und der unfreundliche Umgangston haben mir den Besuch leider sehr verdorben. Ich hätte mir mehr Entgegenkommen und Gastfreundschaft gewünscht. Schade, aber ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.

Gute Ausicht ins Rheintal und wenn es klar auf den Säntis.. Gut zum spazieren. Gutes Restaurant. Weiter oben hat es einen schönen Ausichtpunkt und ein Cafe-Restaurant. Sehr freunlicher Service.

Restaurant St. Anton in Oberegg is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Swiss cuisine. I've visited a few times, and I always appreciate the friendly service and cozy atmosphere. The view from the restaurant (and oustide) is truly spectacular, offering a stunning panorama over Rheintal and Bodensee (Lake Constance). A quick stroll up there, enjoying the stunning view and the charming small St. Anton chapel nextdoor, is worthwhile either before or after visiting the restaurant. Whether you’re dining inside or on the terrace, the scenery and ambiance make each visit special. Highly recommended for anyone exploring the area.

Good Food

Traditional Swiss restaurant in an extraordinary location Splendid views of the Rhine valley, on-site parking. Friendly staff, yet sometimes it takes a while until someone shows up to take orders. Food is typically Swiss, simple yet very tasty. I’d recommend the cheese platter (Very intense Appenzell cheese) and the „Flädlesuppe“, a salty broth with stripes of crêpe.

A very good place to go with family and friends. Traditional Swiss food and quality, loction espectacular with amazing views.

Good choice of food. Delicious desserts.

We had an order of 24, -CHF. To do this, we asked for 1 liter of pure water. We drank this water and we were still thirsty, so we asked for another 1 liter of pure water. The waitress brought us a bill of 5, -CHF for clean water, which should be free if the guest orders something !!! When we alerted her, she took the block back and told us at the next table that we had such a small bill and would still like clean water. Never again this restaurant. I do not recommend.

Delicious, especially after climbing by bike. Staff is super nice and I could play with a card, no cash needed.
