Good exhibition about the 90s in Berlin. It starts with a really impressive, huge multimedia show, then you come to a room in which videos from 13 contemporary witnesses are shown. Then you can see the Berlin Wall, which is probably 15 meters long and you can take a photo in front of it or on a big platform behind it and have your photo taken while you look down. In a labyrinth there is information about clubs in Berlin, but many of them no longer exist today. Definitely interesting for a lot of people who like clubs, music and partying. I found it exciting, it was a completely different world for me. In a mirrored room you can find out more about the Love Parade and listen to all the Love Parade hymns. It's really humming, it gets you in the mood :)

No common thread in the exhibition. Too little about the nineties in Berlin itself, too much history of unity (very interesting, but that's not what I understand by the "Nineties"). The Love Parade largely serves as a reflection of the 1990s. Isn't there more to it? Oh, and there were also a few subjective, frustrated formulations that could have been avoided (example about the Brandenburg Gate: "From the beginning, this gate was completely useless. The stone symbol of Prussian power has always stood as a traffic obstacle [...]" - maybe choose a few more moderate words? The Parisians don't say that the Eiffel Tower is "completely useless" ...). In addition, slightly politically influencing formulations such as Brandt's Ostpolitik would have "made unity possible" and Kohl was "not without controversy". Neither is wrong, but it is very likely that this applies to both - it can also be presented more objectively (or best: formulated in a less judgmental way), especially today. It's a shame, I was looking forward to the exhibition.

Oh God!!! A terrible presentation of information!! You feel like you're in the brain of a madman!! In some rooms it is as loud as a disco, in the others it is extremely cold (winter) I'm sorry to say that this was the worst museum I've ever been to

When I came the place is quite empty. Although it's quite interesting with the interactive technology using the bot for the information. And the labyrinth with music was cool. But too bad the museum is too small. Best highlights was the sneakers exhibition and mirror room. You can buy a lot of cool stuffs here including the original Berlin wall. And you can get free stickers Friendly staffs. Provide WiFi

Like some others, I was disappointed with this exhibition. On the one hand it is incredibly loud and on the other hand there is an acoustic chaos here. For me, the 90s didn't just consist of techno and the fall of the Berlin Wall. There were definitely more. What influence does the Internet have? The digital world? The fashion. The World Cup? ..... all of this and much more is the 90s. But unfortunately you can't find anything about this. Lockers are available. I don't think the entry price is reasonable. Spent 45 minutes in this exhibition.

The multimedia show at the big hall is perfect. Interviews give insight in many areas from music to police departments of Berlin. Exhibition is a great opportunity to understand the music scene at 90s Berlin and today’s club scene in Berlin. It may be crowded to follow the multimedia shows at the weekend. Better to prefer silent times like early morning or midweek.

It's a definite must do in Berlin, especially if you're into the rave culture and you like Berliners' club styles. The museum has 6 areas, you start from a large room with film for the German history from the past almost 60 years starting with the erection of the Berlin wall and it's fall after 1989. The beginning of the parades and Berlin's club culture is presented into an interactive mode. One of the rooms is dedicated to the Love Parade and how it all started, with beer can, cigarettes, the posters for the parade, mixer the DJs played on etc. Then you get into another space with screens with interviews from witnesses of the history. The next one is with big part of the Berlin wall and documented facts for the near past. There's 2 more places, but it's hard to describe and it has to be seen if you're into art installations and party-person. The staff very really friendly and the gift shop is a gem :)

I really loved coming here today (19.07.19)! It was an immersive experience and gave such a new lens to my understanding of Berlin post the fall of the wall. Would recommend it to anyone interested in the nineties and all things techno. Particularly liked learning about the love parade! Peace, joy, pancakes!

The exhibition deals almost exclusively with the electronic music scene of the nineties and takes a maximum of 80 minutes to complete. Then you have read or listened to almost everything. Even though entry costs less than a movie ticket, I was a little disappointed.

This exhibition is fantastic! Multimedia installations evoke the disorder and confusion of the early years following the fall of the wall, ranging from 360 degree film projections to large-scale infographics to intimate testimony. Myself, I'm not a fan of the "doosh doosh" techno from this era, but now I understand better how it represented the energy and giddy sense of renewal those revellers felt. Goodbye Lenin, indeed.

Very small exhibition. Pricy 12.5 euro for the size I loved it. Nice experiance and good quality artwork and audio experiance. Too bad the price is out of proportion to this kind of place

Fall of the Berlin Wall, artistic freedom, anarchy and techno. The exhibition Nineties Berlin shows the wild and colorful Berlin of the 90s. The decade that began in Berlin with the fall of the Wall had a lasting impact on the city. Nineties Berlin captured this turbulent time with a multimedia exhibition and shows the traces of the 90s with real parts of the Wall, sculptures and interactive elements. Highly Recommended.

Absolutely amazing experience, from the immersive moving projections to the stories of the wall. Great value for money, and educational. Can’t recommend it enough!

Very nice exhibition! Loved the visuals and especially the “wall”, where you could write or draw anything with tape that they give you in the beginning! Also don’t ignore the gift shop. There are quite a bit of cool stuff in there!

Super interesting look back at Berlin just after the wall fell! Especially enjoyed the interviews with artists, historians, squatters, officers, etc. who were present during that time.

We were there on Saturday. As contemporary witnesses and Love Parade visitors, we are totally thrilled! We had a great journey through time and many memories from this beautiful time came back. It was really cool!! Not to forget the nice staff. Thanks for that 👍🏻
