Maintenance is kind and timely. Safety issues with the mail room (packages just sitting in a room unattended). Fob sensors were out of order a lot as well as the entrance gate to the garage. The railroad and a rock yard is directly behind the building, as well as building renovations going on through 2023 all cause a lot of noise from 6am-10pm. Also make sure you sign a lease WITH a lease termination clause or else they will make up a random number to charge you when you have to move out early, and you CANNOT turn off your utilities even if you move out. Washers and Dryers and parking fees not included in rent ($145 extra every month). They’re 13month leases, not 12 month like the office staff will tell you. Lease goes up by 2.5% every year. Nice and safe place but definitely don’t sign blindly. Management responded to this post, yet I’ve spoken with them about these issues time and time again, and she assured me there’s no remedy for any of these issues.

I have a lot of good things to say about Brewers Yard. Its location is the best part. It is right next to a Kroger, a beautiful park, and plenty of restaurants. The charm of German Village is a short walk away and yet it is tucked away and relatively quiet for being right by hight street. In addition, the staff have been amazing in my short time here. I came from an apartment complex that was understaffed so it means a lot to me that this team is on top of things. The amenities are great as well. I use the nicely sized gym often and the pool and courtyard are well kept. There is also a parking garage to keep your car in, which is helpful during these Ohio winters. If you're curious at all about Brewers Yard I would suggest checking it out.

When I first moved in, everything was great. I live on the first floor and there is no soundproofing for these apartments whatsoever. Move in was seamless and the staff were very helpful. 1) I have heard a 3rd floor apartment toilet flush in my own apartment with multiple pipe knocking sounds since the day I moved in. 2) These apartments are not soundproof at all and the staff won’t do anything to fix this issue. Every day I hear people that don’t even live here talking loudly in the hallways and doors slamming constantly. Maintenance and property management won’t address any issues. Fair warning, you are merely paying for amenities most people don’t need in their day to day life. The pool, the package consolidation and safety and not the apartments themselves. They were overpriced before they began renovating units and remain overpriced with a monthly community fee which you pay the electric for as well. So much for an energy efficient apartment. I pay over $200 a month for electric alone. Moral of the story, there is no soundproofing whatsoever in these apartment units and cheap drywall, no soundproof windows or anything. They refuse to update the hallways that have old outdated wall mounted heaters that are dusty and disgusting. Unfortunately my apartment is located adjacent to one of these loud heaters and its part of my nightly routine to have to go out in the hallway to turn it off so that I don’t hear the motor as I’m trying to sleep on the other side of the wall. At the end of the day, you’re only paying for the amenities, not the apartment itself.

I shared a 2 bedroom unit with a roommate. It's spacious and great how each bedroom has its own sink, walk-in closet, and full walk-in bathroom so we never had to share. We both worked from home for the year and ended up moving our desks to our bedrooms but it didn't feel like we were compromising space. Location relative to town, restaurants, and the Audubon park is great and there are plenty of bus stops within a 10 min walk. Kroger is just across a parking lot. Some elements of a luxury apartment like a decent gym and pool without the luxury price tag. Free parking in the front was really convenient for guests too. The biggest downside is 2 bedroom units only come with one assigned parking spot and the community fees can be higher than our utilities. The paint was weird with all the trim and doors colored the same khaki as the wall but the shared spaces look fine. Our apartment faced North so we had a great view of the city and never had any issues with the train.

Decent apartment complex, we have not had any issues. The apartment walls/floors are from 2000 so they are thick so it's very quiet. You do get hallway noise through the door but there isn't much of it. Not too many shenanigans going on so it's a nice place to live if you are older. Location is fantastic, you have both the city amenities and a massive park within walking distance. Great place if you have a dog. The Kroger next door is amazing as well. I was concerned about the train but i can barely hear it...however, we were in an internal facing unit. The gym is decent...I like how they have a separate "yoga room" (that could use better lighting and cheerier paint) with free weights so you can lift or stretch in a more private space away from the people using the cardio and weight machines. The people in the office are really nice and maintenance fixes things quickly. They made several visible improvements to the amenities while we were there.

Looking for a new place to live is a daunting task, and not something I wish on anyone. However, after hearing about The Brewers Yard apartment complex from a friend, I decided it take a look at just one more place; and I’m so thankful I did. The moment you walk in the doors it feels like you’ve entered a hotel lobby. I was pleasantly surprised at the affordability of my spacious one bedroom. My experience with the staff has always been pleasant and extremely helpful. Any concerns or issues is have, which don’t arise often, are always handled promptly and with urgency. The location couldn’t be more perfect. Tucked back in the heart of the brewery district and walking distance to Kroger, and many bars and restaurants. The amenities and pool are amazing, and the property is well kept and attention to detail is at a peak. The staff makes sure to send out monthly updates and always keeps the tenants informed about building maintenance.

I have lived here for a year and a half and I love it! The location is perfect and convenient. It’s so close to downtown, yet quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The units are great sized for the price you pay, especially compared to other apartments in the downtown area. The maintenance and leasing staff are all great and very friendly. They do everything they can to help fix any problem you may have! Love the holiday/seasonal events they put together for residents and all of the amenities Brewers Yard has to offer. Not to mention, they are constantly working to better the experience here!

Brewers Yard has a friendly staff, a highly responsive maintenance crew, and great amenities. They keep the facility up to date with new carpet, paint, and furniture. Packages are safe in the leasing office and mail safely locked on the third floor. These apartments are great value for the Brewery District, which is the most walkable neighborhood in Columbus. Covered (and gated) parking is a huge bonus in the winter and the pool has to be one of the biggest in Columbus. 5/5 would recommend.
