Beautiful place for a quiet walk. We took the 3 kids along but dogs and things to ride on (bikes, scooters, etc) were not allowed, which made for the calming experience we had! Place to refill water and bathrooms along with plenty of areas to sit. Feed the fish, take a romantic stroll or just take in nature. Will most Def be coming back to explore more!

Very peaceful, beautiful park. Visually stimulating with colorful flowers in bloom and the Spanish moss to give it a storybook feel. Very nice place to take a walk. I will definitely be returning to this park when I am in the area.

Beautiful and serene 40+ acre park. Has azaleas, rock roses, koi pond, bat house, labyrinth and formal gardens among a natural setting. Great place to relax, take photos or have a small picnic.

This park was absolutely beautiful! They have paved walk ways that are mostly shaded open and nice. Plenty of benches, nice grassy areas for picnics or whatever. If I lived closer I would come here everyday.

There are no playgrounds. No bicycles, pets or drones allowed. This makes for a peaceful and quite environment. Great for walks and to just relax! I will definitely come back. Make sure to bring your camera! And a few bucks for the optional donation.

Beautiful place. Very nice calm walk. This is not a very long trail, so don't come here to try to exercise. This place is a great place to just relax enjoying the trees, birds and fish, a peaceful walk around the enchanted forest. First time visiting since we moved to Ocala, beautiful winters day.

Want a relaxing and mindful day? Shalom Park is where you need to go. Walked the 2+ mile trail and just soaked up nature. Can't wait to come back in springtime

I was impressed with the entire park. From shaded concrete trails dotted with benches to open manicured lawns next to stunning pavilions, I more than recommend Sholom Park for your next casual outing!

What an amazing park! It’s divided by 3 parks in one. Each one really surprised me since I didn’t expect much. Highly recommend to visit if you’re visiting Ocala or nearby. We did it to kill time before zip lines and it was amazing decision

This park is one of my favorites. It’s well kept and peaceful! It’s a nice spot to go for a stroll and just to sit and read. There have been some groups around taking wedding and graduation photos too.

I loved it. It’s the perfect place to feel close to the nature and feel thankful for such beautiful things in the planet. It’s also the most perfect place in Ocala where you can feel relax and so peaceful… being realized that everything what is happening, everything what you’ve been going through and who you are is JUST PERFECT!

Amazing place to go to relax and plenty of room to get away and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. I have only gone through one half of this park and am extremely pleased. It is very calm and beautiful. There are plenty of paths to walk and numerous benches to sit at to take in nature. Pets are not allowed, which makes sense since it is a privately owned park open to the public. A little over 2 miles of walkable paths to choose from. They are even adding a Zen garden.

This is a very pretty park! Very peaceful with fountains, statues and trails. Not so big that it's hard to get through it, just the right size.

I go here almost every morning to meditate and clear my mind for the day. Never very crowded when they open and everyone there seems to be respectful of the rules. Leave you phone in the car and look at what’s around. The trails are great with benches all around to sit and take in nature. Don’t forget your quarters to feed the fish.

This is a private park open to the public and is one of, if not the best parks in Marion County. Amazingly serene place to go for a walk, with of plenty of benches to sit and clear your head, pond with koi fish and machine (.25) to feed them and more than enough shade to enjoy the day without the sun in your eyes. They offer yoga classes, movie nights and several family friendly events are held here throughout the year.

Beautiful park to walk, enjoy nature and do some soul searching. Park is quiet and peaceful and can be explored in less than 2 hours. Not allowed: Pets, bicycles, skates, skateboards or drones. There's a nice pond with fish from a boardwalk. Plenty of park benches available to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

I have been trying to visit Sholom Park the last three times I have been in the area. Finally we visited. This is a wonderful park for quiet and tranquility. You have beautiful concrete paths to walk around beautiful landscaping. A pretty simple formula. There are rules that folks need to know. Pets are not allowed. As are bikes, scooters, golf carts, drones or smoking. As such, there is little to disturb the peaceful nature of this beautiful park. There are multiple garden or paths that you can stroll along enjoying nature. My favorite is the Labyrinth. But close behind are the pond, the olive tree promenade, and the pergebo. I also like the formal garden with the fountain. In reality, I like them all. They all have something different for you to enjoy. If you bring quarters, you can buy food to feed the Koi in the pond. You can sit on many benches and soak in the nature with the sights and sounds of the birds. Even the smell of a lot of the plants and flowers fill the air. There is very little outside noise to destroy this. Although you can hear a car or truck now and then. There are restrooms in the building right behind the pavilion. The pavilion is itself right at the end of the parking lot and is kind of a central location for the paths through the gardens. There is a water fountain that will fill water bottles at the restroom building. They also have a stage and I guess they have events here at times. But I honestly don't know anything about them. And of course the pavilion which has some benches and ceiling fans for relaxation. But the fans were not on when we were there. The fountains were on in the formal garden and in the pond when we were there. There was a lot of shade when we went with lots of foliage to block the summer heat. It was pretty hot out, but the shade helped keep it at bay. All in all, I can't think of many relaxing and tranquil places that costs you nothing to enjoy. If people respect the rules and the park itself. Hopefully people will be able to enjoy this place for a long time to come. It took us a while to find the time to visit. We should not have waited so long. It was one of, if not the best thing we have done in the area.

Very nice park close to everything. This was a highlight of my Florida vacation a few years ago. We sat at the picnic table and enjoyed our lunch. I loved the pond and lived the walkways. I also saw some nice Florida flora and fauna but no gators.

Beautiful walking paths with a variety of vegetation. Home to different species of butterflies. Have quarters on hand since there is a Koi pond that has a vending machine with fish food.

First time being here and it was beautiful! The weather was just perfect and the sun was setting. The whole place looked magical. It was clean and wasn't very crowded either.

There are two "sides" to this park. One side is more floral with a small labyrinth. The longer side has a pond. It's flora and fauna keep us coming back.

Shalom park is a beautiful and calming place to visit. It's full of beautiful flowers and paths that are exquisitely decorated. The pond, beautiful pergola, labyrinth, and the Zen garden are just a few reasons to visit this park. It's truly inspiring with little passages written to reflect on. It's a wonderful place to teach your kids and loved ones about nature.

Free. Plenty of parking and well maintained concrete paths makes access easy for any age or handicap. Pretty spaces for reflection but rather plain open areas designed more for the walker. No big hills or roots on paths. Small pond with Koi. No pets - bikes - feeding wildlife and other restrictions. No concessions.

Ocala's version of Leu Gardens. Pleasant, tranquil, and rich with fauna and wildlife, numerous paved hiking paths for all ages through different environments offer the visitor plenty to enjoy.
