This section of the Florida Trail is nice. From the parking lot westward toward I 75, the forest growth has a lot of old and large Live Oaks. The land bridge across I 75 is unique. The history about the cancel that was going to be dug across Florida was a pleasant history surprise. We did 3 mile in from the parking lot and 3 back and was a great way to spend the afternoon. The individual trails, one for bikes, one for hikers and one for horses is a cool idea.

From Florida land bridge trailhead to 49th ave. Trailhead and back 7.4 miles. Water bottle fill stations at both trail heads. Easy terrain with a couple slight inclines.

Went to captain jacks horse trails and we where treated amazingly. The gentleman that guided put 60 min ride was very thoughtful, professional and made us laugh. He always kept an eye on the people in our group that wasn't a experienced rider. Definitely recommend

This is a beautiful place for a hike. It's not very long. Dogs allowed. Busy,. I was there on a Sunday.

I like to walk in nature. Well-marked trails, love that there are some hills, as I live in the lowcountry. The biggest problem is that you can't really lose yourself in nature, as you hear traffic from I-75 for pretty much the entire trail. That's no fault of the park service - trails are well-marked and maintained.

Excellent natural trail with designated parts for walking, biking, and horses. The actual Land Bridge actually crosses Hwy75 and while it is short, it has really interesting historical significance.

This is a beautiful hiking trail thru scenic woods. It takes you to a bridge that overlooks I 75. The whole walk is about 3 miles and on the way back if you follow the pavement you’ll end up right back to where you started.

Plenty of parking with restrooms. Bike wash also available. Guided horse tours also available. Great trail head for riding west to cross the Land Bridge to reach Canal Diggings and Nyal's loop @ 20 miles total. Adding Ern and Burn with Troll trails for about 26 miles total. This allows skipping yellow trails like Spider Kingdom and get mostly to blue trails. Mountain bike trails and great paved trails are available.

Nice one mile walk through the woods to the bridge. Good signs telling about the area. Well marked trails. Separate trails for walking, horseback riding, and biking.

This used to be my fav park trail, but I am editing my previous review to 1 star. Today I went and discovered that they cut down all the trees that you could climb over and under that made this park unique. There were also people in there camping and setting fires, which is kinda odd being as the park closes at sunset and it's a no camping HIKING TRAIL that also has horse trails.

I'm bicycling to rehabilitate with low impact exercise. The hills on this trail I have to walk the bicycle usually. Many people use this trail, and it remains quiet and peaceful normally. The actual length must be more than 12 miles. My access is the Westside boundary off College Avenue. There are benches and a couple random picnic tables. I enjoy this trail except I want to medicate cannabis, and there is no 3 sided bench walls for privacy.

Park here occasionally for the Santos mountain bike trails! It's an awesome starting point to jump into the trail. A little less crowded than Santos camp trail head. You've got a bike wash/post ride shower spot as well! The horses are always cool to see too. Great bathrooms too!

Some climbs, really nice trail and facilities. For such a narrow tract it still is much like wilderness. Great stop while out of town.

Loved this trail for biking. Wide trail, well maintained with lots of fun hills and curves. Be sure to check out the highway view.

This place has a trailhead, but you cannot park here. You have to get a ride from a Trail Angel or Uber.

Great place to trail ride. Bathrooms, water and wash racks for the horses. Only concern is the cyclists on the paved trail. Many don't slow down or stop. If you horse is good with bikes.... it's a good place to ride.

Rode my mountain bike west from the Land bridge trailhead. Trails near the Land bridge are just so so. Pretty flat and rooty. My main complaint is that, unsurprisingly, there is a lot of road noise from the highway. I continued west and rode Nayl's Trail and it was excellent. Next time I'll start from the 49th Ave. Trailhead.

This trail system is huge! It connects to other trailheads including Santos and Vortex so you can ride for hours and hours here, much of it under canopy which is also nice. Beautiful area, great cross country riding

This trail was great for rollerblading for the most part, but some debris not far from the trailhead flung me forward and fortunately I could bounce off into the grass. I didn't even fall, it was just like a long slow motion trip- I had my helmet and all pads on and definitely almost needed them. I skated around 7 miles (out & back) in total and only had the one snag so overall fine trails. There's also a Thai place that looked good nearby too, post-exertion!

I enjoyed bringing my 3 dogs here. we did get turned around a couple of times and off the foot path onto the horse or bike trails. We finished with 6.5 miles total and was able to cross over I75.

So glad we can use this. Great for cyclists, hikers & horseback riding. Come out and enjoy. Santos to rt-200 is all paved and many areas to stop along the way. 16 miles out and 16 miles back. CUontheroad

One of the best singletrack tails anywhere....82 miles at Santos of all levels...land bridge is my favorite...much of the topography was created by the digging for the abandoned cross Florida canal years ago...created interesting and exciting trails.
