Beautiful place in Gaithersburg MD, gorgeous place to visit with family and friends. Huge walking paths, lots of families with children will enjoy as well. Great restaurants. Huge lake to see with the paddle boats, which are fun to enjoy. Overall, it is a great place to be especially in the warmer weather!

This is our go to place for movies and taking a quick trip to do something with the family. It has become such a special place and their new park is amazing. Great place to spend an evening with the family. Good job Rio

I hadn't been there in years. I had an appointment nearby and wanted lunch first. Many great choices, easy parking, and a picturesque site. I'll have to go back to try other restaurants.

When Rio opened, my kids were young and we went a lot, but I honestly didn't go for awhile. In January I started going to meet some friends to play Pokemon - if you like that game, this is a really great place to play - and I was impressed because they have added a lot of new restaurants and fun features. It has been nicely revitalized and is a great spot for all ages. There are plenty of different foods and treats, activities for kids, free concerts, paddle boats, movie theaters, big play ground and carousel, plus a walking path around the lake where many people walk their dogs. Sprinkled throughout the property are nice sitting areas, bronze statues and other art pieces, it is nicely landscaped with lots of flowers. Ducks and Geese are always about, and there are machines you can purchase food from if you'd like to feed the ducks. Signs tell you do not feed them bread or other items.

Rio Washingtonian is a great place! I love to come here to chill and eat as well as walk the boardwalk and overall have some fun. It’s really cool.

Love this place. I have family in the area. I seen Rio from when it first got built. Rio has grown and became a great place for dinner with friends and some shopping. Just watch out for the service at Barnes and Noble. I don't think they want to be there.

This is an absolutely beautiful location with plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment! It's often quite crowded. The best time to go is at dusk when it's starting to cool down. If you are planning to rent a swan paddling boat, it's nice to use them just before sunset.

The cops were at the Rio last Saturday enjoying the views of people walking around. But only those that felt intimidated by them being there gave to flying fingers because they were only by that Asian ice cream and donut shop they did not leave that area to drive down to where the target was or anywhere else it was like four of them so just so you know
