Went here to check out a new place for gatherings. We decided to come at the last minute and arrived around 8:10 PM on a Saturday evening. Cute town. Cuter place. The interior and exterior lights were lovely and welcoming. I was worried that we were arriving too late, but NGXB was playing on the piano, and the patrons in that part of the restaurant were happy. I love the mix of comfy chairs to chat in and tables for dining. The restaurant is divided in multiple rooms so the mood can varied as needed. The specials sounded wonderful but we were trying to order items similar to the event menu (a separate review on the event process to come). The burrata arugula salad was exceptional! I loved my Herb crusted cod! It was such a warm and inviting experience that we forgot we were checking out the place. It turned into a lovely date night. We have a new go-to for tasty dining and warm ambiance. The wait staff (Haley) perfectly timed when to come and check in and leave us alone. Worth the 45 minute drive!! Please see for yourself!!

One of our favorite places to eat for special occasions or meeting up with old friends! Service is always excellent and the menu has something for everyone. Scallops and Risotto one of my favorites. Tiramisu is on a whole other level! Best I've ever had! Atmosphere is just what you want in a cozy fine dining restaurant! Highly recommended! Kudos to the chef and staff at Nauvoo!

The restaurant is very unusual, incredibly inviting and appealing. A quiet place to eat is important to us and this fit the bill with all the carpeting to absorb the sound. The decor is like Frank Lloyd Wright and a bit like a lodge with warm browns and orange colors. I wish I could give Nauvoo a better rating but the food was awful. The chicken skewers were overcooked and the menu choices do not reflect a classy restaurant. The paper menus were all crinkly and reused many times. The food was the biggest disappointment. We really wanted to like this place. So sad!

Had my nieces bridal shower here. Everything about the day was wonderful. I highly recommend for such an occasion. The room is beautiful. The servers were very attentive and the food was delicious. Made for a great memory.

Had a great dinner, with my best friend. We were okeasantkt surprised 😮 😲 that Charlie the piano player was there and his wife the songstress. Always a pleasure to listen to them.

Just went last night for my birthday dinner with 15 of my friends. The entire staff couldn’t have been anymore accommodating & polite. The dinners were delicious & our waitress, Laura ( I believe her name is) was outstanding. The hostess was super friendly & sweet as soon as we all walked in! The food was excellent! I honestly can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend people coming here!!! Thank you all again ❤️

It had the most beautiful atmosphere and the bartender was the absolute best. We arrived late so we just missed the kitchen closing but had a delicious salad before we left. I'd def like to go back for dinner and enjoy the whole experience

There were twenty of us dining together! Most of us wanted burgers and fries and salads. I don't think anyone had something on the dinner menu. Unfortunately, only two servers had to do everything.... This young fellow went back to the kitchen over and over again with drinks and menus...finally another person did try to help him.... Giving 5 stars with the food because the burgers were good. I gave 4 stars because the food took a long time and some dishes were given the wrong thing...but I can see why that happened. The atmosphere was okay....not many people at all.... restaurant is clean. FYI we gave him a good tip!

We we're blessed to be part of a wedding it Nauvoo this past weekend and were blown away at how nice the location is. Beautiful location, great staff, good drinks, and our food was delicious! We were not here for a normal meal, but would assume lunch and dinner would be just as good downstairs. We will certainly make the trip back.

Things started off with a nice greeting from the hostess, but was totally downhill from there. It took 15 minutes to get three drinks and that doesn’t include the 10 minutes while Meghan was waiting as she had gotten there before us. Also, the restaurant was mostly empty because it was a Monday night. This should’ve been our clue when my wife ordered a Pepsi and I and ice tea, the waitress wanted to know why we didn’t want something a little stronger while we were waiting. She dropped off some bread, but it was stale and hard as a rock. She gave us the specials and went to wait on other tables. About 45 minutes in we hadn’t even put our order in. I saw the waitress, struggling at the cash register and decided things were not worth waiting any longer. We left and tried to tell the hostess what happened, but she was busy on the phone and ignored my wife.

The ambiance n decor were really impressive—craftsmen style. Went the evening of Father’s Day. Place was not busy at all. Arrived at 6:45 according to our reservation…did not get our entree until 8 pm! Ordered shrimp cocktail appetizer, which was disappointing in both presentation and size of shrimp-4 small mediums Since entrees were so late, we were offered fried onion rings, which we declined. Ordered the cheese encrusted Halibut in corn/crab sauce with fingerling potatoes… fish was overcooked n sat in a pool of sauce that looked like it had been left sitting under a heat light for too long. I found just 2 pieces of undercooked potatoes in the dish. Husband had the pork chop—an attempt to cook a frozen chop, resulting in one that was dry n tough. The place was also understaffed, even for the modest number of guests. What a disaster…Wouldn’t go back if they paid us.

OMG, what a horrible experience. Service was the worst. Staff were short handed and full of attitude. Service was as slow as it gets. Once our appetizers came out (1/2 hour after we ordered them) our main meal came out seconds later. We sent them back where they obviuosly sat under a heat lamp until they finally brought them back out - 45 minutes later. Customers around us were walking up the the bar for a drink, as getting one at table was impossible. THEY RUINED OUR NEW YEAR'S EVE!

Very warm, comfortable interior and a super nice staff. That's the only reason I'm giving two instead on one stars. I've never been to a restaurant where the entrées came out before the appetizers or the salads! Poor kitchen management. Three of our party of eight ordered the turkey and they all said it was very good. If the rest of us had known, we'd have opted for the turkey as well. It's always baffling to me when a, "steak house" doesn't know how to properly cook a steak. My daughter ordered a fillet mignon, "medium well" and it came out medium rare. Much closer to plain rare. Another ordered a strip steak rare and it was well done to the point of a hockey puck! I had the pork chop which while nicely seasoned was dry and overcooked even though I asked for medium. It was almost as if the kitchen didn't even care to look at the desired level of doneness. My pork chop came with a piece of corn bread that was like having a mouthful of sand. As I stated, the appetizers and salads came out after the entrées that we had already started. Some of us had ice cream and pie for dessert along with coffee and tea. Whomever made the coffee needs lessons because it was as weak as a cup of tea. The apple pie was painfully average. Our server and waiter were very apologetic the whole time and being that it was Thanksgiving we light heartedly let it all slide. Especially after we were comped the salads, appetizers and desserts without even asking. They desperately need some quality control here in the kitchen. Especially now with our economy in the toilet and the inflated prices of everything.

We held a Celebration of Life for the passing of our Mom on the 2nd floor. Could not accurately express my feelings for the friendliness, compassion, helpfulness of the staff at Nauvoo. Zeke, Brittany and others were all incredible! My brother, sister and I had never experienced hiring a hall to cater an event. Sophia was so helpful for my sister to locate ballon and A/V vendors to help make the Celebration spectacular. The food and drinks were awesome as well. I cannot say enough about the attention to detail and quality of service at Nauvoo Grill Club!

We had the best time here for our engagement party! Sophia was amazing, our guests were very impressed! Food upstairs is top notch! Highly recommend, this place is a hidden gem.

Beautiful venue. Friendly staff. Great food. Good place to host a baby/bridal shower, brunch, or afternoon with the girls. The salads, pasta dishes and cocktails were all very tasty.

Attended a wedding shower in upstairs room. I recommend this restaurant for large parties, the room is private and set up with its own bar. The food was perfect.

Great menu Really pretty restaurant. We sat outside on the small patio. Good service good food and good drinks. Will go back

Our last outing will definitely be my last. This comes after a New Years Eve visit several years ago that's a story maybe for another time Without going into too much detail, this visit saw 10 entrees brought out over what seemed like nearly 10 minutes. The bigger issue was serving related. While the actual servee was great and fairly attentive, the main issue was caused by a runner. As for the restaurant itself. It has a very nice atmosphere and a very welcoming bar/lounge area. But after several visits, just not a place I plan on visiting again.
