I stopped in on March 3rd around 2-2:30pm. I was looking for a Specific item that I had purchased there earlier but I couldn't find it. There was only one lady working. I was hesitant at first to ask for help because she seemed to be the only person working there at that time, so I waited until she had no customers and I asked about these really nice towels that I had purchased a week ago. She immediately knew where they were, so I took the last few that were left. She was Knowledgeable Helpful And very friendly!!! It's because of her that intend to go back to this store. I think it would be an Asset to your company If you had more employees like her!

I love this place!!!! I go there at least 3 times a week. Quick and convenient. Great service starting from the hello you get from Ms. Monica when you first come through the door. Shelves are always stocked and aisles are always clear. Sometimes I just go there to see what new stuff they have. Always a purchase. They have everything you need and more.

The store was pretty messy and not very well stocked in some departments with the exception of snacks and junk food, in this particular location. Also the cashiers didn't acknowledge customers by greeting them thanking them which is very important.

I like to visit different Dollar General stores fir decor finds. We only have 2 in Nassau County that I know of. The Amityville store is decent, definitely worth a try.

Shelves always stocked depending on the time of day your going.... Can get a lil busy and a line may form. I believe it's because alot of people don't understand the self cash register is open for cards only. So you might have to ask person if paying with cash? If you are in a hurry and can use self register you can be out fairly quickly. I recommend this store highly. Friendly staff, and will tend to your needs swiftly.

This store is great it has so many items and brands that a big box store carries. This store has great prices, it is close by, clean, friendly and very quick and easy to shop. It has everything from bread and milk to school and home supplies. It is wonderful Dollar General is here.

A YouTube video suggested getting some items to DIY organize my home from Dollar General. This location was not stocked on organizing items & was not memorable. Won’t come back to this location. I’m going to try some further out on the island.

The store is a very organized beautiful place. Nice manager and friendly workers. They have everything you need cleaning supplies breakfast stuff vitamins etc. This neighborhood needed a store like this. If you need to get something definitely stop in!

Wait time was absolutely unacceptable! There was another employee in the store who did not come up to assist with the extremely long line. The self checkout was not working, there was a dirty mop bucket filled with water sitting by the checkout line, and dirty tissue on the floor. Not to mention I'm pregnant which made the wait even worse. I felt really bad for the cashier at the front because you could tell he was fairly new.

The manager on Saturday needs to go she was getting me to yell at her like if I was black she would have said that I stole something instead she played games with the reward card
