there is a delightful carousel at the northern tip of the park... hours are limited there are two picnic areas, one by the northern entrance and one south of the park drive... I think the southern is more pleasant and scenic but the north is near the playground, basketball courts, and tennis courts there are bridle paths, exercise trails, and a bike path, which are all in poor condition there is a dog run and improved fishing pond that are very popular the dam that made the lake is pretty and historic water craft permits are available for the season and almost no one takes advantage of it update Sep 20, 2019... Love this park, so beautiful with all the lakes, dog friendly area. You can get your hiking on here with or without the dog or just a good place to chill and read. Parking fee during peak months.

Beautiful lake with a trail about 3 miles around. Its bike friendly, dog friendly, and even horse friendly in some areas. Good for running or walking to take in the scenery. The park side offers picnic seating and a cute little carousel and play area for kids. parking is fee based in the late spring through summer, free in the colder months.

Nice park, the lake is very scenic. There are the paddle boats, good picnic area, good picnic areas, playground. Basketball and tennis courts and the restrooms are good.

Vast park, beautiful scenes, can't wait for my next bike ride.

Nice little walk

Calm and quiet woods and series of lakes and ponds. Tennis courts and old fashion merry go round available. Also horseback riding is available on trails from the riding Academy on Eagle Avenue.
