Back in October 2022 I had found 2 baby kitten around 2-3 week and I had entered the store to buy kitten formula and ask for some advice on how to care for them. Jessica the manager at that time was very helpful at first and then she want to keep the kitten claiming we couldn’t love them or be attach to them if we had them only for 1 hour. That we wouldn’t be able to care for them, that we wouldn’t get up ever 2 hours to feed them, at the end of everything she said “ Don’t comeback crying after there dying”. She also REFUSED to sell us the kitten formula and bottles. Happy to say both of kitten are alive.

Staff is always very knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Everything is well stocked and they carry everything you need for your pets. It's very convenient to have a local pet store close to the grocery store and other shopping.

I shop There since last October for my bunnies. I was Told two times that our next bag is free. I was Just in there n AGAIN was given no free bag. I called And Jessica “the store manager” couldn’t answer y this continuously happens.SHE literally just lied n said the other day when i went In “ one more bag”I have Purchased over n over again. I asked If Vince”owner” could call me back and she stated NO ! After continued poor customer service i took It personal n asked y she continues to act in this behavior EVERY-TIME i go In. She stated i am NOT allowed to shop there anymore bc she doesn’t like to be asked questions she DOES NOT have to answer. Vince is an amazing owner n talks with us every-time we shop. He needs to retrain his “ manager “ before he looses all customers. I will Never shop there again bc of JESSICA **** BTW EVERYONE look at JESSICAS REVIEWS. DISGUSTING UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR WHEN CUSTOMERS PUT FOOD ON HER TABLE ! You can reply to my review and i will Answer n respond this way. You know as well as i do She will not be reprimanded for it. Clearly u can see the horrific behavior on other reviews she has directly towards her. Her misery reflects on happy people that walk in that store n walk out n never return. I do Not want your free bag of food i font Need your free bag of food. She does not belong around animals that have no say. Her negative bad energy feeds onto them. SHAME ON YOU WHO EVER RESPONDED TO MY REVIEW. !!! I will Continue to give my feedback n how i feel About pet depot as Jessica as a “manager”. Disgusting. All the money my family has spent there n she makes all good go bad so quickly.

Katie’s pet depot is a lovely store - they have so many foods, treats, unusual items compared to other stores, and lovely staff. The major exception is their grooming services. I would have given one star if it weren’t for the store itself. I took my dog there twice and both these times, the groomer left matting in the dogs hair both behind the ears and on the ears. This last time, my dog came out smelling like he had been in a dirty cage and the groomer literally ran out of the store before even addressing either the matting or the smell. If there is an issue with matting anywhere on a dog, whether it’s a little, a lot, or inexplicably I expect an explanation or a discussion- something! I subsequently had to take my dog to the vet to have his ears shaved and his feet/nails reassessed. Furthermore, when I phoned the store to let them know what had happened, I didn’t receive an apology, or even a perfunctory “How can we help you with this?” For the next 14 years of the life of my dog, Katie’s has lost a customer due to Emily.

Katie's Pet Depot is the absolute best! My dog loves going here and picking out his favorite treats, it's the best. I love going here, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Glad we have them so close!

I love this Pet Depot because you feel like you're walking into a home town animal rescue and pet supply store, rather than some giant box store. The staff is super friendly, and they have everything you could want, including the sweetest kitties up for adoption. Please someone adopt Snickers!

Compared to brand name pet stores they are well-educated on the pets they adopt and sell. Their products are better quality and more affordable. I love to come here I've tried brand name stores and I've decided to stick with Katie's Pet Depot

Recently went here for the first time after hearing about it and it's such a lovely place! They have a couple shop cats that seem to roam the place and are super chill and super cute! The people working there were very friendly and their selection seems pretty extensive and beautifully stocked. You can tell they take pride in running/maintaining their shop. Will definitely be back in the near future!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the owners and staff for my new furbaby. She's a beautiful kitten with a loving disposition thanks to the fostering and care given from Katie's Depot. There are a few babies left..and a few older cats that are as sweet as can be. I'm obsessed with the store and selection of products..I hot everything I needed and more. Food selection and prices are great. Service with a smile and I'm all smiles..Thank you all so much.

I have nothing but positive things to say about all the employees at Katie's Pet Depot in North Brunswick ! They are helpful, friendly and quite knowledgable - and they carry the high quality pet food that I prefer for my cats, bird and dog. It is my go-to pet store for sure!

Was looking for new aquarium decor & check out the fish they have. Was told they would need to see a picture of my tank before selling me the large fish ... I have a 75 gallon and 100 . Was laughing they think that... bought nothing . Petco tried thus back in the day and immediately stopped

Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Frequent Buyer Programs for different brands of food to get a discount sometimes. Very community oriented! Cannot recommend Katies enough.

In all my many visits to Katie’s Pet Depot, I’m always greeted with a smile. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And best of all, they care about animals!

Amazing Oxbow selection! I have two chinchillas so it can be hard finding safe toys for them. I'm pretty sure they have almost every item Oxbow has to offer which is amazing. I usually get their stuff online but being able to go to a store to get whatever I need is nice. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The store was clean too. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming here for over three years now and I will not go anywhere else! I absolutely love the ambiance, it’s super clean, smells nice and I love the quality food they carry. The staff is friendly and always ready to answer your questions. I also enjoy seeing some of the pets that are available for adoption walk around freely, it speaks volume about the staff!!! And lastly, I absolutely love the reward points they offer. I enjoy getting my free food bag, it’s always a great feeling!

The people are so nice and just good cool people. Fun employees to chat about pets. (Don’t know much about this but) I believe they are also a rescue place for cat adoption and they have cute and friendly cats roaming the store (don’t worry, theres discreet litter boxes there won’t be mess while you shop) definitely avoid this place if you have a cat allergy, hate pets, or hate good people. (Also they only carry good quality food which is great! but they wont have the big packs to buy cheaper/in bulk for the more popular brands)

Sells quality cat and dog food along with all other critter food and supplies. Has so many items :the chains" do not sell. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Store is super clean and maintained.

The store staff at Katie's Depot is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lisa, who does the grooming, is gentle, loving and professional. I couldn't give them a higher rating!

Prices are cheaper than chain pet stores. A huge perk is the cats that walk around the shop. They have animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, and birds. They all look happy and healthy. The store as a whole is clean and full of friendly employees, only had good experiences there.
