I spend a weekend close by once a year and the Yalaha Bakery is always a stop usually more than once while on our trip. Everything we have ever eaten here has been amazing! I love the warm giant pretzel! This trip I got to mean AnneMarie who is I believe the owner she was very nice! Always love then they have love must’ve outside too!

Literally the best bakery in central Florida. Clean establishment, pleasant staff, beautiful building and outdoor space, live music schedule and scrumptious sweets and awesome lunch choices.

Not just the best in town, Arguably one of the best in state. Every single time I visit no matter the day or the time, as long as it’s open they’re always packed. And not just busy packed, I mean full parking lot and parking on the grass outside of it packed. There’s a great reason why. We live in Hudson and make the multi-hour commute just to go here and revisit our favorite pastries. I’ve never tried one thing from this bakery that I haven’t loved. Rather, it’s hard to try something new because every new thing I do try is what I also end up wanting to revisit on my next trip. Though my all-time favorite is the Trio bread they make. It’s hard to get a hold of, but it’s worth it every time. My favorite for sure.

We have known about the Yalaha German Bakery for more years than I will reveal. It is our "go-to" place for special treats (good breads also). Yesterday, after perusing the show case for several minutes, we opted for the croissant with chocolate mousse filling. We have never enjoyed a croissant as much as those. They were absolutely phenomenal!!!!!!!

This place is worth the drive and wait. The schnitzel sandwich is amazing and great with the beer they have there. Plus the desserts there are to die for. I've gone a few times and always buy several to take home.

If you're a fan of freshly baked, authentic German goods, you simply must visit Yalaha Bakery! This little slice of heaven tucked away in Florida is an absolute gem, and the moment you step inside, you'll feel like you've been transported straight to Germany. The aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries fills the air, and the display case is packed with an incredible assortment of goodies, from traditional pretzels to delicious cakes, cookies, and more. And let's not forget about the bread - the selection of breads is truly amazing, and each loaf is baked with care and precision, resulting in a flavor and texture that's out of this world. But what really sets Yalaha Bakery apart is the quality of their ingredients. Everything is made with the highest-quality, all-natural ingredients, and you can taste the difference with each and every bite. And if you have any dietary restrictions, don't worry - they offer a great selection of gluten-free and vegan options too! On top of all that, the staff at Yalaha Bakery is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they truly make you feel like part of the family. Whether you're looking for a quick bite on the go or you want to settle in with a cup of coffee and a pastry, Yalaha Bakery is the perfect spot. Trust me, you won't be disappointed - this place is a true gem!

Stopped in today and OMG I am so glad we did. Everything looked so delicious that it was hard to narrow it down. The pretzels are by far the best I've ever had and don't even get me started on the chocolate flourless tart. As a former bakery owner from Tennessee, I have been so disappointed by the bakeries I have tried since moving to Florida 4 years ago but Hallelujah I have finally found a bakery that far exceeds my expectations. It's an hour from my town but so worth the beautiful drive.

I always stop here on my way to Mt. Dora. The Linzer cookies are the best I’ve ever had. I always stock up on a bunch of pastries because everything is made from scratch. They have a bakery and a deli. There is always a line for both, but it moves fast. There is a Biergarten outside with live music on the weekends (polka!) with plenty of seating.

Lovely bakery and restaurant close to Howey-in-the-Hills. Good German food. Kitchen was a bit slow this Sunday, but of course we didn't go there in a hurry.

After hearing about this great bakery we stopped by while driving through the area. It was amazing and totally worth it! We tried a selection of pastries and each was delicious. I got a schnitzel sandwich and German beer from the cafe section. Definitely stopping by again

Finally got to this bakery, after hearing about it from my daughters. The selection is awesome, I'm from Virginia and we really don't have bakeries we really only have baked goods in grocery stores. So this was very reminiscent of bakeries I had growing up in New Jersey in the '70s and '80s. We tried the cream puffs, the linzer cookies, the chocolate mousse cake, the croissants filled with moose etc. I think the cookies were a little under $3 a piece and most of the other items like cream puffs etc were close to $6 each. I thought most of the items we bought were very good, I don't know I would go there on a regular basis if I live there but it's a nice treat once in a while.
