Good
after
a
rough
start.
The
office
staff
needs
training!
We
never
received
a
confirmation
email
for
our
stay,
and
we
had
to
call
to
confirm
that
we
still
had
a
reservation
the
day
before.
Once
we
got
there
it
was
4:00,
maybe
4:15-The
office
closes
at
5:00.
We
were
told
our
site
(no
escort).
When
we
got
to
our
site
it
was
a
very
residential
area
of
the
park,
which
was
ok,
but
the
site
was
difficult
to
access
due
to
lots
of
cars/work
trucks
parked
all
over.
The
site
only
had
50
amp
and
we
needed
30.
There
were
kids
toys
and
stuff
all
around
the
site,
and
the
hook-ups
were
on
the
wrong
side
for
a
back
in
space.
When
we
went
to
the
office
to
figure
out
what
to
do
we
were
told
that
we
could
not
borrow
a
50-30amp
converter,
but
we
could
buy
it….Um,
no.
I
told
them
at
the
time
I
made
the
reservation
that
I
needed
30
amp
service.
Then
we
were
told
we
would
need
to
wait
until
they
“closed
the
books”
for
the
day,
and
then
they
would
take
care
of
us.
We
waited.
After
30-45
minutes
we
were
moved
to
a
different
spot.
The
new
spot
was
perfect!
Right
next
to
the
pool
and
bath
house,
overlooking
a
lovely
pond
full
of
water
birds,
Sandhill
Cranes,
and
even
a
Red-shouldered
hawk.
We
chose
this
park
for
its
proximity
to
Blue
Spring
State
Park,
and
my
advice
would
be
to
go
SUPER
early,
an
hour
before
the
park
opens
if
you
want
to
get
in,
especially
on
a
weekend
or
holiday.
We
went
at
8:30,
(park
opened
at
8:00)
and
they
were
already
closed
for
admission
until
2:00pm.
We
ended
up
going
to
a
beach
at
the
public
boat
ramp
(major
loud
party
spot),
but
we
paddled
in
to
the
spring,
which
was
amazing!
