Great park with loads of activities! The lake and cypress trees are lovely. There is a small RV park, several cabins, fishing pier, boat rental dock, disc golf course with over the water hazards, three playground areas, large public swimming pool, long well paved biking / hiking trail and a drone racing area. Only down side is a five dollar vehicle entrance fee.

This was a huge park and amazing place to be in the morning. We came a little early but they open right on time at 8. The park fee was five dollars at the door. You can pay with cash or card. The parking is really open and you can drive around and park anywhere. There is plenty of place to sit at and enjoy the view.

We stayed in the campground for 2 nights beginning of April. The gate staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to get into our lot (#1) fairly easily. The pad is pretty level with grass either side and plenty of shade. The restroom/shower facilities were very close by but were not that clean, which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. However, the nearby laundry facilities, which I didn’t use, but took a look at, were very clean. The park itself is very nice, the disc golf and pool were closed while we were there, the course looks well done and the pool looks clean and large. We took a walk on the trail that goes around the edge of the park, there are a lot of beautiful trees, there’s a nice view of the lake from the fishing pier where we saw someone catch a decent sized fish. A nice touch is the little farm where they have animals such as goats, pigs, turkeys etc, which I’m sure would be a hit with the little ones, but also enjoyable for animal lovers of all ages! The only downside if you camp here, is the noise from the close by freeway, I thought it may die down at night, but alas, you can hear the traffic all day and night, for a light sleeper it meant a disturbed night that spoiled the ambience of the otherwise beautiful spot.

The playground here is so amazing!!! They have 3 different play areas, the largest is definitely the shadiest. They’re pretty spread out between pavilions, too, with lots of room to play. There was ample parking in Lot 2 and within walking distance to the petting zoo area, as well. The bathrooms were not conveniently located, but we’re easy enough to find. I don’t know if I would pay the admission just for the playground, but if you’re here already you should definitely check it out. There’s so much to do here and would be an amazing family outing.

After a long driving day, we stopped at this beautiful park to have a quick picnic. This is not our first visit to the park. Love having such close contact with nature so close to home (we do live in Orlando, barely few miles away). The picnic area was clean and very well built. Restrooms were open and not in a terrible condition. We visited the animals and then we went home. This park is a nice getaway for when you get tired of being surrounded by urban areas. I do recommend !!

I play Disc Golf here often with friends. It’s one of my favorite parks. It’s meticulously maintained, an expansive lot with a ton to offer. From fishing, to camping, Disc Golf, trails, playground, and more! It’s just a couple dollars to get in and we’ll worth it. If you’re into Disc Golf like myself there is several courses with multiple ways to play each meaning playing here never really gets old. I highly encourage you checking out Bill Frederick Park!!

Beautiful park, but so many paved roadways. Really enjoyed all the tropical species of plants! Saw some wildlife, including a gopher tortoise!! Glad I visited!!

Very nice park! I enjoy walking there. Beautiful scenery. Nature trails need more signage. Also, watch your step when your on the nature trails; I've seen holes made by animals, ant hills, and dog poo. I think most people pick up after their dog, but I've seen two separate piles on the nature trail.

My buddy and I are from right outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We flew into Orlando for a quick fishing trip, and we rented a boat and fished here on a Friday and a Saturday (January 19th and 20th). They only have 4 boats that are allowed on the lake, only rent them Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and only rent them from 7am to 11 am. The lake is not pressured at all, and we had lots of luck (I'll keep what we used and what spots we fished a secret). The 2 guys working the boat rental dock were super nice and very helpful. The scenery was beautiful, and the wildlife was plentiful. There are otters in the lake, and they were super fun to watch. They also have gators, but we didn't see them. Also, plenty of bird species call the lake home or use it as a stop on their migrations, so if you are into birds or wildlife in general, you will not be disappointed. We were both pleasantly surprised by how nice everyone was that we met here, and can't wait to get back to do some more fishing. We didn't visit the other parts of the park, but the lake, boats and people were all fantastic. If you want to fish in Orlando, this is a must try lake. Good luck, and tight lines!!

Great park. Long trails near water for biking and walking. Beach volleyball. Tons of picnic tables. Playgrounds. Disc golf, I have never seen so many players before. Cabins. Docks and piers, maybe see a gator in the water. Canoe rentals. I was by myself and only played $2 to get in, it was worth it.

Nice park for the specific purpose of visiting Disney or Universal Studios. Very friendly staff and affordable with water and electric. Strangely, no fire pits. Maybe because there is A LOT, and I mean A LOT, of road noise from nearby toll road. Not a place to visit for quiet time in nature roasting marshmallows.

We love it... we would suggest fans for the bathrooms. Also adding concrete slab for picnic tables areas in the campgrounds. The staff is super, everyone was extremely pleasant and attentive to detail in their work

Beautiful park and course beside Turkey Lake. Long and challenging, but good enough for beginners through pros.

My daughters and I had a refreshing day at the park. There’s lots of parking space. Although, we didn’t make use of any we liked to see that there are plenty of large shades and barbecue grills for outdoor party lovers. We enjoyed taking a walk around the park. The are plenty of picturesque views.
