After dining here I am even more ashamed to admit I am a Winter Garden resident and have waited so long to dine here. We dined in the tasting room and it was exceptional. The tasting room allows you to try a variety of appetizers seasonal dishes and entrées. Our server Anthony was amazing. He was experienced professional and an absolute entertaining delight. We ate an embarrassing amount of food 8 dishes total. Every dish was amazing from the plating to the flavor profiles to the texture. My mind and belly hasn’t been so satisfied for a long time. The craft cocktails are delicious and the food prices are exceptional for the quality. I can’t wait to go try the Original Chef‘s table side that provides a three-course meal with wine pairings🥰 Update! So we made it to the Chef’s table dining side and it was amazing!!! I’m very intimate affair located right next to / in the kitchen. Everything was just so satisfying. I was incredibly surprised by the watermelon salad that might be in my top five salads of all time!

So glad we found this little gem near Orlando, food was excellent, we’ve had the most tender pork ribeye we’ve ever tasted!!! Service was very attentive. Very generous portions! The fixed three course meal bought the memories of our France travel back, would definitely consider come back again!

My husband and I went for Brunch this past Sunday and it was amazing! It was our second time and we were looking forward to come back! I had a good Mocktail and he took the bottomless white Sangria from the brunch. Egg and Biscuit and Chicken & Waffle !! And a must have “duck fat fries” ! We like their selection and the ambiance of the place. Great service too.

We ate at the Tasting Room on a whim one Saturday evening. We had no reservations and had been having drinks at the Marketplace when we wanted to go somewhere else to eat. We were able to get in and were blown away at the service, the ambiance, and most importantly the FOOD! Everything we got was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommended and we will definitely eat there again!!!

It’s our first visit to chefs table and everything was amazing, the food, the service and the ambience. I didn’t know the restaurant was inside a historical hotel building, and we were seated right next to the kitchen, that definitely made our dinning experience more special. We both ordered house rubbed pork ribeye as main course and it tasted like heaven. It’s tender and got the Smokey flavor. Dip it in the pear jam and rutabaga purée enhanced the flavor and it’s just an array of flavors dancing in your mouth. We will definitely come back and try other dishes on the menu.

The Chef’s Table at The Edgewater is a fantastic experience perfect for a date night or special occasion. We made a reservation a few days before we went via open table. We received confirmation texts and a text a few minutes before our reservation time alerting us that our table was ready. We were greeted and escorted to our table without a wait. We walked through the tasting room area, past a banquet room, and into The Chef’s Table. There is a smaller room with 3 tables and a larger room with 6 tables. We were seated at a table for 2 in the larger room. It was perfect. There is a glass double door where you can see inside the kitchen. Our server greeted us promptly as we looked over the beverage and food menus. He was knowledgeable and engaging. It’s a 3 course meal and you choose your appetizer, entree, and dessert from a few options in each category. We decided to add on the wine pairing and are glad we didn’t order additional drinks because the wine was more than enough for both of us. You can add on the cheese sampler which we did. It consisted of crostini and 5 different cheeses with accompaniments. It included Gouda, Blue Cheese, Cheddar, candied pecans, dates, and honey. The honey and Gouda was a great combination and something I’d never think to try together. It was delicious and a great way to begin dinner. We opted to do a wine with our cheese tasting and omit the wine that would have been paired with dessert. We both enjoyed all three of the wine pairings. For our appetizers I had the Mediterranean Octopus. It was tender and the tzatziki sauce was delicious. My husband chose the Mushroom and Chive Crepe Torte that he enjoyed as well. I had the fresh fish for my main course. It was pastrami seasoned cod and prepared perfectly. The flavors of the dish were great and I really liked the asparagus and turnips. Yum. My husband had the pork ribeye. It was perfect ~ tender, rich, and flavorful. We chose the Lemon Thyme Creme Brûlée and the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding for desserts. Both were great choices and a perfect way to finish our meal. The entire experience was 2.5 hours and flew by. The service was great and the food was delicious. It was an enjoyable dinner and we’re looking forward to trying The Tasting Room menu options sometime in the near future. We couldn’t find much about the dress code online so we decided on casual and were glad we did. Be mindful that you’re practically sitting in the kitchen and it gets hot while the entrees are cooking.

The Tasting Room is perhaps one of Central Florida’s greatest restaurant, definitely top notch. Service is great with waiters knowing exactly how to describe all tasting choices, wine pairings and great cheeses. Unforgettable experience, highly recommended. This is a singular restaurant, nothing equal in Central Florida.

Such a wonderful experience on our anniversary. Definitely take advantage of the full wine / 3 course experience. Staff was so helpful and really broke down each meal and wine for us at the table. Thank you for such a great time! We'll be back!

I recently hosted a private dinner here and it was an INCREDIBLE experience. The food was exceptional, alongside a warm and inviting atmosphere. What truly sets this restaurant from others is the impeccable SERVICE! The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest was taken care of, from the moment we arrived and until the last guest left. They truly were AMAZING. I would highly recommend this restaurant for your private dinner or any weekend dinner! I can't wait to come again :)

My husband and children took me to Chef's Table for my birthday and it was the best decision ever. The meal - a 3 course menu - was delicious. We chose to pair our food with wine, which I highly recommend. The service was superb. It was a bit pricey but well worth it.

The best food I've had in Central Florida. This is quite an experience, especially for a special occasion. Well worth the price.

My husband and I recently enjoyed dinner here. I would recommend the scallops as a starter. They were buttery and fresh. We also enjoyed the suggested wine pairing. Our server Jeff was very attentive to us. To finish the meal I had the root beer float which was my favorite part! A classic with their homemade touch. Pictured is the scallop and mushroom starter. Delishous!

Love this little find on Plant Street! Food is great, and the service is quick (we sat at the bar). The barkeep was knowledgeable and friendly. We will be going back and bringing friends. The drinks were unique and delicious too!

The "Date Night Experience" at The Chef's Table was exceptional. The $75 price for two, plus gratuity and tax, was well worth the abundance of delicious food. We even took leftovers home! During happy hour, we enjoyed fantastic drinks, and it's fascinating to know that this establishment is housed in a historic building, dating back to the early 1900s, that once served as a bustling hardware store. The charm of the past adds to the cozy ambiance. But the surprises didn't end with the food and drinks. In the men's bathroom, they've curated an incredible display of historic baseball memorabilia, adding a unique touch to the overall experience. This gesture is a nod to the town's history as well, and it's clear that the attention to detail extends beyond the dining area. Highly recommended for a memorable night out, especially if you appreciate a blend of excellent cuisine, a touch of history, and an unexpected twist of nostalgia in the bathroom decor!

This was an overall pleasant dining experience. Service was top notch. Food was good overall. I had the mushroom torte. Mine didn’t look like others that I have seen pics on here. More of the sauce would have been great. Bread pudding wasn’t what I am accustomed to. Again not as I have seen on here. I had maybe half of the ice cream I see pictures from others. The fish meal was very good. A mix of long grain rice and lentils would have benefited this dish more than straight lentils. I like the prix fixe menu. but not much choice that is not an upgrade.

We went for the first time in March 2022 and customer service was not what we were expecting but food was amazing. We came back again for my husband’s bday and Jeff was our waiter, AMAZING EXPERIENCE since we opened the door to let the host know a out our reservation. Please do you a favor and if you going a Saturday night, ask for JEFF, best waiter in 10 year living in Orlando and eating in restaurants. Amazing food, sangria, experience, definitely coming back.

After having an outstanding birthday/graduation meal at the Chef's Table at the Edgewater, I couldn't wait to return and try the Tasting Room at the Edgewater. The duck fat fries with parmesan cheese, truffle oil, and smoked aoili were crispy and delicious (duck fat rules) with the yummy homemade ailoi providing a delicious dipping sauce; truly amazing! Though a full order was available, I'm glad we decided to order the half order so we could save room for the yumminess ahead! 😁 Being that Brussel sprouts are one of my favorite vegetables and they sounded SO good, I ordered the Brussels with lardon, honey, and blue cheese and I can't express how truly incredible these were, they would have made a delicious meal by themselves! Copious amounts of lardon (pork fat also rules), perfectly cooked Brussels, and a tangy sauce which was beautifully offset by the blue cheese. It pains me to say, but I have to admit that these were better than my own Brussel sprouts. 🤷 The rock shrimp-chorizo ravioli with creole butter, garlic confit, and Cojita cheese were truly delicious and (shockingly) you could really taste the flavor of the rock shrimp (a personal favorite) in the homemade pasta pockets. Finally for the meal was the menu item I was most excited about, the lamb Sugo with lamb shoulder, homemade pasta, guanciale, Calabrian chilli and homemade ricotta and it absolutely won the day!! Though challenging to accurately describe, picture a hearty, warming pasta dish made from tender roasted lamb, a delicious sauce, and topped with a fat dollop of homemade ricotta... Delicious doesn't even begin to describe it! Our server, Derek, was friendly, welcoming, and attentive and, like myself, a true foodie with passion for the delicious food at the restaurant. If there is a better restaurant in the greater Orlando area, I'm not aware of its existence, and I'll definitely be returning again and again and again, and I hope you you do as well! 😁

The food was delicious and the drinks were good also. Our service was excellent. We were seated in the very back of the restaurant which was inside of the Edgewater hotel. The temperature in the room was very warm. Periodically the air would come on but then it seemed to shut off. It made the dining experience less than a five.

There is a lot of hype around this restaurant. And I will admit it is good. Nice drink menu and vintage atmosphere. But I would not consider this place to be as top tier as many say. Half the menu items we had, I loved and half I hardly enjoyed. It is definitely on the pricier side. I would like to try the chefs table as we only did the tasting room. I recommend to anyone in the WG area to try!
