READ THIS BEFORE GROOMING Hold on hold on you got to be kidding me. Grooming at petco is a scam first they charge you for bath and hair cut for a standard price right. Then they charge you for material? So listen to this just because you pay for a bath don't mean you get shampoo with that. You pay for the cut right this girl come and tell me they charge for sharpening the scissor 👁 👁. Bro I almost lost it after that but no there's more she come and says that the blower " the blower" takes material charge too. You know why because they say this because they got to use it. The blower don't run on material unless you talking about the connection because if you do it sound like you charge me for a light bill to.

Best pet store ever If you get a Fishtank wait 24 hours to get a fish to put in the fish tank fish and I think it was really helpful so keep it up

The guinea pigs are dehydrated. Their water bottles are mounted too low in the cage, and the guinea pigs can’t reach underneath to drink water. I bought a guinea pig and the first thing she did was drink a ton of water from her new bottle. All afternoon, she was gulping water down. I have had 10 guinea pigs and this wasn’t normal. Other than that the store is good and the employees are nice, but the animals’ welfare is more important.

Great Place! Clean and Professional. Customer Service was amazing. Everyone was very informative and willing to explain the needs of the animals. Jeff really stood out as he went over and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. Great store. Would highly recommend.

I've always had a good experience at all Petcos. At times, it can be just a LITTLE difficult to find an employee to help (short-staffed?) at this particular store, but other than that, I've found the store clean, well organized, easy to find stuff, quality products, and friendly employees!

Petco is my only choice in great care for my pups! The Vet service in Melbourne was top notch! I'm leaving my other vet who never has times available for my fur babied!!! Thank you Melbourne vital care!

🍄 Reinaldo 🍄 is by far the best Pet Groomer that we have ever had. He will always be our go to from now on for both or small Shih-Tzus Buddy & Bonnie. He recently cut my boy dog’s hair and did everything I asked for. He made me feel comfortable with the process and even followed up after the cut to ensure he got everything. Petco Grooming is a great place just make sure you choose the right people!!!

Best store ever. The girl who helped me move from Oregon about 6 months ago. SHE NEEDS A RAISE. SHE is so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. I'm horrible with names but I know she's the only girl that moved from Oregon. She is amazing. I'll be back just to learn more from her about my Beardies..

Reinaldo took my puppy in for her first grooming service! He was very sweet to her and gave her lots of pets. He explained the whole process before I left. I highly recommend Reinaldo to do your dogs grooming service at Petco!😊

What a terrible experience from an employee named maxwell. We've been coming to this store for years and service has been declining rapidly. My daughter has been wanting a guinea for the last month so we've doing our due diligence to make the best decision. Asked maxwell for assistance and he told us that because the animals can catch covid petcos new policy is to not let anyone touch or hold an animal unless they are certain they are buying that animal. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, our son has autism and is only 4 so he doesn't understand boundaries, he accidentally touched the person maxwell on his pants and the guys reaction was horrible, like our son is diseased. We apologized but felt humiliated. From the start he had an off tone sense like he did not want to be bothered. We went to petsmart in Melbourne after petco and what an amazing experience compared to what we went through. Petsmart was very friendly and helped make a great decision on our daughter's new guinea pig. We will not ever be returning to petco.

Brandi did an amazing job with my pitbull Neo, it was his first time getting groomed and he smelled sooo good and his fur was fluffy and he seemed to really like the staff. They took such good care of my baby. They also had amazing customer service. I recommend getting your dog groomed here.

Customer service is hit or miss at this store. Sometimes you have an awesome associate who helps you find product that is still wrapped on a pallet in the middle of the floor. Other times, you have cashiers that prefer to have personal conversations with people who are not buying anything while you are holding a 28 pound bag of food and cans in your arms because the person they are conversing with is blocking the whole counter. All I can say is when you go there, try to go at the off peak hours and be thankful if you can find a cart that's clean.

Had to stop for cat litter and wasn’t disappointed with what they had available. Their refill bins are convenient, cheaper, and better than other litter I’ve tried. Employees were helpful and cashier was extremely friendly. Was able to donate toys to shelter cats during checkout and see what toys they were getting.

I took my 7 year old dog here to to groomed. Gabby was very friendly and professional.M y dog enjoyed being around her. Would recommend.

Helpful, cheerful staff. Good products. Cat owners look for the Tomlin Hairball gel remedy for cats, TUNA flavor. First time one of my cats ate it voluntarily! And begs for more! Other won't though. Also catnip flavor. Hint NEVER put on cat's paws, put on dish and leave it out. Cats hate being soiled with goo on back of paw will shake it off and run away & never ever touch the stuff again, learned years ago with another brand.

Viera FL Petco Groomers were fab! We have 2 dogs and like getting them done at same time to save time. Nice that Petco has 4-5 groomers so we could get our kids done at the same time! They showed concern for our Paris who had some nicks from the lure course and running in the woods so they were very careful when shaving her in those areas. This was our first time with Petco (our groomer retired) and we forgot to discuss shaving their tail so she did not shave Race's tail. When we went to pick up Race she asked about the tail and said if we wanted it shaved it would only take a couple of minutes. Sure enough... it only took a couple of minutes and we were on our way. The shave jobs were very good and our dogs smelled so good and felt so soft! Thanx ladies! We will be back for sure!

there are way too many pet stores for me to ever go to Petco again. Could not find anybody to come and help me. I had to go hunt somebody down..there three girls upfront were too busy talking to assist anybody. Was hard to find the dog food I needed and they over charged me for one item but I live an hour away. I’m not going back.

Went to Petco to get a bigger fish tank. The tank I picked up had small cracks on the bottom. Found another the same size and bought it. While I was there I bought fish rocks, fish nursery tank and a divider. When i got home set up my tank and noticed a chip on the black frame of the tank. It was an expensive purchase and made me upset that it was chipped. The lady was knowledgeable on the fish species but seemed annoyed I was asking so many questions.

DO NOT BUY CRICKETS FROM HERE!!!! Bought three dozen crickets two days ago. Woke up this morning every single one is dead. I spent $8.13 on them to not even be able to feed one to my lizard. I’d love a refund.

The Manager and cashiers are awesome.I needed litter for my cat .When I stopped in what I needed was in a pile of other merchandise wrapped up in a tall pallet. I stopped in after work and needed to get on home........hopefully with the litter, The manager was unloading another pallet, I ask him about the litter I needed.He went to the pallet and unloaded it to where the litter was.He went out of his way during a busy time to help me.When he could have said come back later,like some places I have been. Thank you I really appreciate what he did. You are luck to have this out going ,friendly individual , because now days,in some businesses customer service is not what it use to be.

Unfortunately they were extremely short staff and the main cashier was saying she was tired n this n that n was gonna walk out n leave me in line. She doesn't get paid enough. Just make sure ur employees are taken care of man. Thank u. No employees no paycheck

JOE IS INCREDIBLE! What an asset!! Not only was it a great cut with rather challenging long haired dogs, but Joe took EXTRA special time and care to make sure my pups were PERFECT. He’s a master. Gave us the cuts that I didn’t even know to ask for. Thank you so much Petco …. for JOE!!

I love Petco! The cashier gave me great advice on easing the transition while I change dog food types and recommended pumpkin! She brought me to the exact spot in the store where to find it and so far so good! I also took advantage of their 50% off sale and got my dog a new Bark toy he loves! Thanks Petco

Cassie groomed our Cockapoo today and did a perfect job! First time going there and we have already made Sadie’s next appt. Cassie is friendly and easy to talk too!

I have a big dog who is timid around new people and he barks loudly and can be a little intimidating. I have explained this to the people at this Petco and every Petco I’ve gone to before. At every other Petco I’ve been to they are patient, they get him as comfortable as possible, and then they see that as soon as I leave, he behaves like a angel, so they don’t worry about it for the next time. The groomers at this Petco did not even give him a chance, even after me explaining that he would bark and act tough. They immediately decided he was “ too scary” to work with, put no effort into letting him get comfortable, tried nothing to befriend him, and gave him no chance to calm down and get comfortable with new people. Absolute waste of my morning when I had lots of other things to do that I put aside. Do not take your dog here to get groomed unless they are tiny and have no vocal cords so they can’t bark. The groomers here can’t handle it.

I bought a 75 gal. Tank for a red ear slider & was educated on items that are most helpful towards their care and a few items to avoid, so she can stay healthy.

No one was in that store to lend assistance! I needed canine first aid supplies. Asked the first associate I saw to just point me to the right aisle. She said I was interrupting her dog class (with one person) and to ask someone up front. No one was up front. I found what I needed and was looking for someone to check me out. Another team member came walking down the aisle, and with my hands full of unpaid merchandise, asked me”do you need help with something?”. I said yes, I’d like to purchase these products. She made a comment effectively telling me she wasn’t on duty, but I guess would do me the favor of letting me buy my stuff. Well, be assured I won’t bother them again.

If I could give this Petco a 0 star I would. To start off the employees were very rude. And also for the care that's done with the vaccines and more with a supposed to be licensed veterinarian.... when I asked for a specific signature from a liscended vet that I need done for all my Service Animals records. They would not sign so I did not go through with the service, which to me is proof of a non licensed vet. In the past I never had a problem with this. So to warn people about this to make sure the vet that is touching your fur babies to make sure they are licensed and to show proof. Because they would not at this time.
