We were in town for a wedding. Knowing we wanted the true Wisconsin bar experience, I did my research. Pete’s Garage Bar was hands down the best decision made for Cheese Curds. They are listed on the menu as a “shit ton” and they did not lie! I swear, there were 60+! The fried pickles were fabulous and HOT! I strongly suggest you want at least 5 minutes before trying one~the hot grease will get ya! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and reading the many sarcastic signs on the walls and license plates on the ceiling! The three gentlemen that were working at the time were handling a very crowed bar with the up most efficiently! Bottom line, if you’re looking for a hometown, great food, no thrills, reasonable priced food and drinks along with the BEST cheese curds in OshKosh, PETE’S Is your place!

Food as advertised. Best prime rib sandwich in all of 1514 Oregon St at Oshkosh. Tried to make reservations at the romantic table by the dumpster but they were full up. One of the best bar experiences of my life. Please don’t come here. Service is terrible. Food is sinfully delicious. You’ll end up staying all night playing dice. Save it all for me.

Pete's deserves all the praise and more. Bartenders are hilarious and sarcastic, which is a nice switch up from "typical" service. Also, the food is excellent and proportions are large too. On top of this, drink prices are reasonable and made well. Highly recommend Pete's for good food and a great experience!

Burger Paradise meets friendly neighborhood bar! Add some cheese curds to-die-for and a prime rib sandwich so flavorful that you want to face plant your food…and top it all off with a Wisconsin IPA. I also highly recommend the Oktoberfest bier…. All this makes for the perfect end to a really long day of traveling. Kudos guys!!

The Best Bar!! Food outstanding, drinks as you would expect and nothing less!! The best part are the bartenders, witty and don’t miss and beat.. entertaining to say the least.. always a stop for us when heading to north woods…😎

Came here for a surprise birthday. I arrived at an already packed bar, quickly got some drinks and ordered food. Then we went out back to this pretty sweet patio area. Food came out before expected with the full bar inside. I had the jerk chicken sandwich, the spice surprised me, but damn it was good. I honestly can't wait to get back.

Awesome place! The burgers are absolutely amazing!!! Some of the best burgers we have ever had. The atmosphere is VERY sarcastic (similar to Ed Debevic's) and it should be for a bar & grill. Drinks & appetizers were fantastic as well. They also have hats & shirts available for purchase.

Looks sketchy from the road, but friendly atmosphere inside. They try hard to be rude, but nothing but big teddy bears! Except for Chad. He needs to make better life decisions!

Well sorry to see the negativity, saw Anthrax at the arena me and my son swung by after for a bite. Immediate service, awesome service, great sarcasm, fast service quality food, felt welcomed from staff and patrons like I had been going there for years. Was just here for the first time and got the burger special. Man oh man was I blown away by the burger. One of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. Service was great and the bar was great. Couldn't ask for more from a dive bar. The only thing I wish I would have got more of was some heckling as they are known for that but still, would recommend anyone to go there and will be coming back again.

I'd heard about the burgers here and they didn't disappoint! Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had! The interior has a very unique decor that must be seen! Check out all the posters and graphics all over the walls.

This is a great place to go if you like to be social and meet people. If you go in with expectations you are in the wrong place. Food is great, prices are great, and service is great (they have directions on how to get service posted all over). Thanks for being a great place to enjoy great food! The amount I spent per person is a reflection on how much I like to drink not that the place is expensive!

Laid back atmosphere. Bartenders were cool. Food is cooked right in front of you. Appitizer portions are generous. Burgers are decent, but nothing to write home about. Food prices are reasonable. Would visit again.

I read on the bathroom wall, 'Flush twice, it's a long way to the kitchen'. Truer words have never been written anywhere. Low grade dog food, at best. This review is absolute satire. I just want my review on a t-shirt and a free hamburger.

I got stranded in Oshkosh for one night and I actually went to another bar near Pete's but unfortunately they didn't have food and they actually recommend me to give them a try and it definitely wasn't disappointing, great atmosphere, great food and some sarcasm to repel non suitable guests. I would recommend Pete's to anyone coming across Oshkosh.

Great food and atmosphere. Bartender was funny and the other patrons where having fun. First time visiting from out of town and will visit again if in the area. Food was very hearty.

An out of Towner walks into a bar... Be prepared for the sass. It was a fun time. The bartenders will raz you, but they also make a mean prime rib sandwich. I also ordered some cheese curds, be prepared to having a more than generous portion. Perfect stop before the drive home.

I ordered food at midnight for pick up in an unknown city and PETE'S GARAGE did not disappoint. My food was ready when I arrived and gso fresh it was too hot to eat when I got back to my room. I've ate many burgers and hands down this was the best burger I've had in my life! I never write reviews and I had share this experience. I don't eat pickles and everything was so good, I ate one just because and it was tasty. I'm mad I didn't order a cocktail for a full review.

Pete's Garage is a great place to eat! I stop there whenever I'm in the,area. They have the best burgers I've ever had. All the food is really Good! Pete and his staff are really nice and they're in good humor. The people who go there are,all friendly. I highly recommend Pete's or you're missing out!
