This was a very unusually statue. I had to look up the meaning of it. Supposedly Emperor Paul I  cut off funding to Odessa's seaport in the XVIII century and to attempt to get him to resume the building people sent tropical fruits to the King to St. Petersburg  at the end of winter. This arrival if fruits came to the court of the king, he gave money for the completion of the port and Odessa was saved.

A very nice place. Can be easily approached and it's (of course) for free. The surroundings down the slope are being redecorating right now so I think that this place will offer much more in the future. For nie- good to see.

This monument is on the plateau. Nice place to rest around this monument. And there is also bridge not far that crossing over the main road.

One of the most unusual statues in Odesa. Worth to visit. You can have a nice walk in Zhvaneckiy boulevard starting next to it.
