Always a favorite for the kiddos. Playground is large enough for large groups of children to run and play. Lots of area for picnics and barbecues. Great for taking the dog for a day at the park. Skate park, volleyball area, baseball diamonds, and an event building and pavilions available for rent to ensure a place for parties. Definitely the park of all parks in Odessa, Texas!

I played in this same park 35 years ago. I brought my children here to play while visiting. We had a blast.

This park was absolutely amazing. We just moved to the area. This is our new favorite park! We have nothing like this back home! Its a huge park and there so so much to do. Love it! We will be back very often for sure! It's great for all ages

Lots of room for the kiddos to run arround and many cool toys to play on, the skate park is fun and during summer the water park is a must!

Fun place to take your kids for a swim

This place is very fun and very relaxing to be out in the sun watching everyone enjoy themselves at the pool. Definitely a great place to be swimming with your family and friends. The slide was so fun!!! Loved it, the whole time I was there.

First I am going to state the rules of No food allowed. Water yes, anything else is not going to be allowed in. Security is at the entrance gate and checks bags. Pool is closed on Tuesday for cleaning. The staff is very nice and direct with rules to keep everyone safe. They seemed to handle the stress of correcting teens to children with a calm and clear direction. As busy as it was they never seemed upset. Bravo Staff of 2023 you all are doing a great job.. My family also enjoys the soft grassy area to sit on during break. You can rent a party area and bring your food in.

The park was very clean, with multiple climbing features for the kids to enjoy. We enjoyed a picnic and they kids we're able to run and play before the arctic blast set in. Would recommend!

Skate board/ scooter area lacks paint job....area has been neglected and graffiti is displayed towards Dixie Blvd......City needs to take action asap.

Growing up in odessa we had the staple pieces, the boat, spider and web, and octopus for amusement at the Sherwood park. Having 3 generations of family growing up and knowing these things and having a great time on them is something I love about this park. I am glad they added a covered seating area specially for those hot days.

Clean, quite and big. Covered picnic tables, nice grass and trees . Grills. Different stuff for kids, teens and adults. ( My cat liked it too.)

They shut down early because it got cloudy, then it never rained. They should have checked the whether forecast before making a decision. They shut down at 5.

The Waterpark was closed 😮‍💨 The park playscape is outdated. The tables were nasty. I did like they had dog poo bags for those visiting with 4 legged friends.

Like the park to go for a walk and my nephews enjoy the playground. It also has a swimming pool that is open on the summer, a skating place, and bbq pits and benches which make it a great place to go for diferente activities.

Amazing park to take your family too. Plus they have a skate park too. So if your kids like skate boarding or riding scooters awesome place to take them.

Great place for family events and sports events. The pool is always a good place to cool off and relax. Our parks and recreation of Odessa really work hard to maintain our parks to make them a safe and fun environment for our community.
