The
good:
The
room
(119)
was
clean
and
there
are
real
blankets
on
the
beds,
unlike
the
last
two
Motel
6’s
we
stayed
at
that
only
had
sheets.
The
HVAC
unit
works.
The
room
has
been
mostly
updated.
The
parking
lot
is
great
and
has
plenty
of
space
for
cars
and
18
wheelers.
$58.64
with
tax
and
fees
is
reasonable
for
two
clean
and
comfortable
beds
and
no
extra
charge
for
the
dog.
The
bad:
The
electrical
receptacle
above
the
desk/credenza
is
so
worn
out
that
a
small
USB
charger
will
fall
right
out
when
plugged
in.
The
one
behind
the
nightstand
is
nearly
as
bad.
(Tip
for
owner:
Replace
with
commercial
or
spec
grade
and
they’ll
last
a
lot
longer.)
The
sink
faucet
plumbing
connections
are
reversed,
hot
is
cold
and
cold
is
hot,
and
who
the
heck
paints
the
interior
of
a
sink
with
latex
paint?
It’s
peeling
and
semi-disgusting.
The
road
noise
from
I-20
is
noticeable,
but
then
again
it’s
right
across
the
street.
The
WiFi
is
horribly
slow,
.16mbs,
and
absolutely
unusable.
