This hotel needs new employees and better management. It's an OK hotel however it's being horribly run. It all started when I checked in for a work trip and got to my room which had a plastic folding table instead of a study desk and the bed was as shown below in the first photo. Literally like someone had gotten out of it and it's clear that someone did. I went back to front desk and was given another room. What confused me was, if there was a better room overall why even give me the first room? The second room I got had in a full desk etc. and clearly was available. That poorly put together room with the plastic table should only be used as a last resort! During my trip I went to front desk to ask for a room key. I let them know I could not find the other one. I was so confused when the older guy still asked me what happened to the other one and wanted to ask further questions.

I really enjoyed this place. The staff there are very nice and they care about their job. In the beds are comfortable the rooms are pretty clean the water is hot they have a stove a dishwasher a microwave and the fridge. The TV is one of the newer models. The only reason I'm taking a star off and I'm not completely shooting them down is because I seen this and experienced it big chain hotels like the Marriott and Hilton, there were some bugs on the ground floor in the room. But then again the ground floor is the hardest to keep clean.

This hotel is amazing and super quiet. The rooms are really spacious. It's nice having a small kitchenette so you can cook food from home. My only complaint is there is nothing close to walk to.

We booked on Priceline in a hurry an thought it was a good deal since it was close to the hospital. It was definitely not worth the price, it’s more of a motel. If your looking for a clean environment and helpful staff this isn’t the hotel for you.The fridge raider was unplugged in our room, leaving the hospital we bought groceries in a hurry later in the morning to see all our food spoiled! The breakfast is a joke. We noticed Our switches an spots on our walls needed a wipe down. Called to talk to staff about things was told a manger would call back an never did. Our room never got cleaned we finally found a hotel worth the price! The whole staff including the manager was beyond friendly an helpful during our time of grief the candlewood is definitely the hotel to go to!!

Big hotel room, quiet location. Great place to recharge from a long road. Will be stopping here again.

The hotel looks fairly new and my room was huge. It had two queen beds an enormous desk and a sitting area as well as a full size fridge dishwasher two burner stove and sink. I wasn't expecting all of that and it was a nice surprise. I would definitely stay here again. I do think it looks a little empty like they need more furniture but that is easily overlooked with the nice clean atmosphere of the place.

The service was great, if there was someone at the desk to offer it. I killed 3 cockroaches in my room. Found hair on the floor of the bathroom. On a good note, the room was quiet and the breakfast was pretty good.

Cheapskate hotel owner. No hot breakfast, only cold cereal and fruit(they shift the blame to covid😒 smh). No disposable paper cups for coffee machine nor ice bucket tray. No complimentary shampoo and conditioner, only shampoo and 2 bars of soap. Dried blood on the bed Comforter(i took comforter to front desk and it was swapped out). There was USED🤢🤮 soap in the bathroom shower when I went to shower(thanks housekeeping 😒). Mainstays in Midland is 1000xs far better than this one in Odessa. The lights constantly flickering in the hotel lobby, not sure if it's an electrical issue or bulbs need changing(been flickering 2 days). They have a hotel receptionist and her service is TRASH and she's ALWAYS on her cellphone gossiping even while checking hotel guests in(she doesn't wear a name badge but she has long hair and long white fingernails). If she would actually do work, she'd notice the guest business office area has a printer that was out of paper beforei brought it to her attention. I would think this hotel and the one in Midland are owned by the same owner but apparently not🤷🏽‍♀️. The quality housekeeping staff in Midland take pride in their housekeeping, here not so much so. There is a dog constantly barking on the 2nd floor across the room from me. Receptionist claims it's a service dog. I doubt she bothered checking the dog owner's paperwork to see if it's indeed a certified service animal. I deeply regret getting a room here. My hotel booking is non-refundable🤦🏽‍♀️. I was here for 6 days🙄.

The clerk at the front desk said there were no rooms because they were booked with reservations, I had a reservation I didn't want a room on the End by the stairwells because it's noisy. She tried to argue with me and said they were reserved I told her I had reserved a room too and I didn't want one on the end. I finally got a room on the second floor, the pillowcases were filthy they smelled as if I hadn't been changed in a week. The parking lot is not full, rooms available that are not on the end of the building by the stairwell. I will call the manager and complain about the problem since the hotel had plenty of rooms and they were not booked up with reservations

The bed in room 128 is hard as a rock. There was no meat or eggs for breakfast - only pastry breads & cold cereal. Not a working man's hotel for a short stay - UNLESS you bring ALL your own breakfast food. Other than that - it was great.

The manager Eric is always a welcome voice when I call for a reservation. He remembers me as a frequent customer and gives me the room I want. Awesome customer service!
