Beautiful place in Odessa centrum

SCAM ALERT! 🚨⚠️ Sep 19, 2021 First time visiting Odessa with my husband we were enjoying our visit until our experience was ruined by aggressive ‘pigeon’ scammers in Mis’skyy park. We entered the park from the Derybasivska street and almost immediately were confronted by a young woman with exotic pigeon who insisted we pet her pigeon and take pictures. After we declined her offer she briefly followed us with offers to take pictures with her pigeon and my husband eventually asked the price and this woman said 100 UAH, we agreed to take pictures for 100 UAH. While one of the women was taking our pictures, her assistant came with more pigeons and placed several more pigeons on our arms and shoulders. It took about one minute and after they took pictures both women walked up very close to my husband and demanded 600 UAH! When my husband asked why they changed the price from 100 to 600, one of the women shouted that it is 100 per pigeon! This was a total lie and we knew that we were being scammed. This being our first time dealing with scammers in Odessa we were intimidated into paying up 600 UAH.

Центральнее горсада места просто нет) сюда меня привозили родители в детстве, потом уже гуляли с подругами, МЧ и вот - с детьми. Здесь уютно в любое время года, красивые ухоженные лужайки, деревья.. памятник Утесову, 12 стульям, фонтанчик, много скамеек, меняются кафешки.. в центре ротонда, где часто играет музыка. Сувенирная продукция пару лет назад переместилась на Соборку. Здесь можно увидеть уличных музыкантов, певцов и старых знакомых) Кроме того, это излюбленное место встреч одесситов и гостей города :)

An absolutely magnificent place witch changes dynamically with the time of day and the time of year. The atmosphere is amazing combing newly born children to old adults. The days bring flow of water in the beautiful fountain and children running around and playing. The evening often brings intimate concerts and relaxed people.

Чудове місце для відпочинку, особливо, ввечері.

Schöner Brunnen und lauschiger Park an wunderbarer und belebtem Boulevard! Rundherum viele schöne Restaurants und Strassenkaffees. Odessa ist eine Reise wert. Zum Glück haben wir in September 2023 diese Reise hierhin unternommen.
