Not a great experience. The staff are absolutely lovely but unfortunately you can hear other guests...you can hear everything. My first evening was quiet and peaceful, second evening was ruined by noisy guests that were talking and other guests that were walking from their room to the dinning room and back. I at one point had to go knock on a door of a group of at least 5people in one room down the hall that they kept noise to a minimum and I also had to knock on the wall of my room as the person on the other side was talking loud until 01:30am. A very stressful evening. I will not be staying at this guest house again! Do not recommend if you want to be able to sleep.

Overall the Abla Guest House was ok. I was disappointed in the included breakfast. Also, the room I booked was not the room I got. I booked the standard family room. My reservation said 1 double bed, 1 single bed, and 1 bunk bed. We got 2 bunk beds and a slide out single bed from under the bunk bed. Lastly, our reservation said private bathroom. The bathroom was only private because they didn't book someone in the adjoing room. Feels like that system of doing things will result in a failure at some point.

Very nice experience from check-in to checkout we felt was great service, clean room, pool, good breakfast and they organised transfers easily and prepared a leaving breakfast pack. It would be nice on arrival if a list of shopping areas, restaurants are based. Alot seemed shut on the main square but we found some nice places after a while. The pool areas very nice and relaxing, for their own sake I would consider a shallow only pool it seems unnecessary to have a deep end at all. Highly recommend this hotel.

Oh my, it's our second time. The gardens are beautiful. Lovrly pool. The staff are so accommodating., helpful welcoming. Rooms are spotless. Home from home, parking

The noise issue as mentioned is real. But other than that the place is pretty clean and staff are helpful. With the price you pay you get a good deal. Moreover this place belongs to the abla association, were they use the money for helping those in need. So you would actually spend your money on something good.

Nice location, 10 minutes to the ocean shore, close to restaurants and shopping centre, nice rooms. Mrs Ela, at front desk, very nice and profesional lady!

The standard room was spacious, clean and modern. 3 stars because the guesthouse gets quite noisy, breakfast was very basic & the check in process with the receptionist was a bit strange.

Perfect place for the ones who value cosy, small, quiet and very clean hotels. Close to shops, trains, buses,restaurants, beach..By train only 30min to Lisbon, Cascais etc.

Nice place with some cool facilities (swim pool and garden). Although check-in was not the easiest the staff was very helpful and kind

The location is ok but not so high standards in the rooms. Great pool outside.
