I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pelos and Patudos! My dog goes to day care here every week and absolutely loves it! He is very small and has always been extremely shy of people. Since going to Pelos and Patudos he has grown much more confident and is very happy when he gets dropped off in the morning. The staff are all very caring and knowledgable, plus they give regular updates on the dogs behaviour, sending photos/videos throughout the day. I don't speak Portuguese very well but they always made me feel welcomed and have been very accommodating of all questions and requests. Finally they have a great selection of toys and premium pet food and treats (for cats too!) A big thank you to all the staff for your good work!

Update: The owner contacted us directly, we discussed the situation and were offered a grooming treatment to restore the fur. I will update the review if/when the fur grows back completely ------ Original review: AVOID if you care about your pet. They trimmed our Shiba Inu almost BALD, which you NEVER should do with any breed with such fur. It was the second time they trimmed without permission. We had a talk, but it clearly had no effect. We only asked to do the bath and groom, but they ignored it and cut the fur, which will never grow back the same! The dog is now completely unprotected from the cold for at least a year and it will affect his health. Not only the "NO TRIMMING" instruction was stated on his file, but the idea itself to trim this breed states that their employees are not professionals and not trustworthy.
