The entrance of the "White Elephant" is narrow but interestingly decorated. The ambience is okay, I personally felt it to be slightly overdone by decorative items. It showcased Indian arts and crafts. Food was tasty, but the portion was too small and price was bit high. I couldn't get the "Ayurvedic" part of the recipes. Also, I felt that there was slightly longer waiting time after order or request for the bill (delay in service), however the staff was friendly and mentioned in advance about the delay.

was there a month ago with family in the evening, a weird guy (of african descent?) sat and started threatning all. we had to leave and take food home. they have a lot of customers and only two Kellner. super slow service. food ok, prices in the evening very high!

I ate some very delicious indian dishes there and really enjoyed overall flair of the restaurant. Plus, the service is very kind and forthcoming.

We ordered some food here for delivery over Lieferando, to be more specific, Mutton Madras, Murgh Madras and Murgh Sabji. Portion size is adequate for the price you pay and my god the taste was perfect. I admit, we don't exactly eat Indian food a lot but if every meal we order here is equal to quality of the one we had just now then we definitely should. Spicy, seasoned to perfection with tender bits of meat and nice rice on the side. A lot of restaurants tend to use pre-made spice mixes to quickly pump out orders so we were surprised to find actual Bayleafs, bits of Cinnamon and Cardamon in our food! That's just what you want to see in a good dish! Furthermore it was really nice to see that our wish to slightly tone down the heat of the Murgh Madras (despite eating spicy food a lot, the additional "Very Hot" behind the dish on the menu is no joke) was heard and fulfilled perfectly, the dish came out very spicy but not burn-your-stomach-out-the-day-after spicy. Delivery man was also on time and very polite! 10/10, will order again!

How I wish I could give them no stars at all..!!! Absolutely impolite and arrogant ladies in staff. Utterly baaaadddddd taste of food. Having roamed in complete Europe and eating at multiple restaurants, going to White Elephant turned out to be a pathetic experience. No taste in food compared to their over priced dishes.. Certainly not a recommendation to anyone who wants to fill the taste buds with authentic Indian food. The staff needs to be educated how to cater in a service industry.

This the best Indian typical food, great taste and spiciness in food. The different arts of cooking the great variety of dishes make this place just special. Highly recommend this place if you are in Offenbach, give them a try.

Visited around 2 evenings at this place because it was nearest and in walkable distance from the hotel I was staying. Location: ok and good environment. Food: Average in quality and quantity. On second evening we ordered a veg ayurveda Thali most of the items were okay except for the rice - it was smelling terrible. Price: On the higher side and pricey. Service: Understaffed and delayed. We waited for more than 30 minutes one first visit. Need to find a better location to stay next time in Frankfurt so that I can get at least few good options for Indian restaurants to try out.

I’ve been here with my husband a couple of times and we are always satisfied with everything. The food is tasty, they serve good portions at a reasonable price. The service has been always good.

I have been regularly visiting here for 10 years, I'm a vegetarian and my friend with me had no veg, unfortunately they seem to have lost the touch post Covid. I didn't find the food great last year and this year too. I would strongly recommend they revisit their preparations. Thank you for the lovely service.

We got rotten salads and lettuce leaves with Vada, Alu Pury and Mixed pakoras. The portion for Chicken Tikka was less than bare minimum and had no flavours Not recommended 👎🏻

Nice environment and fair price (25-30 eur a person) but the food was very bland and the naan was also moist and not fluffy. Cash only also which is a downside.

This is the best Indian in the region. We come here with the S-Bahn. We are british so we think we can judge Indian food.

The restaurant tries to create an Indian feel and ambience. The service is good too. The food however, is not great. The flavor's are not authentic and definitely needs to be improved.

Because of the pandemic we didn't have the chance to visit them but we ordered at home and we've been seriously impressed. First of all, the guy at the phone was super nice and professional, he kindly answered all our questions and fulfilled all our requests to "veganize" different dishes that were originally not vegan. Everything tasted awesome and you could tell immediately that was fresh made. A few days after we gave a second try, different dishes, same result. Top class!

The food is really good, the taste from India itself, so as the ambient and the music, it plays a big role to transport you directly to their culture, and they did make it, been there a couple of times, the food is tasty and the prices are reachable, I deeply recommend it if you wanna have a relaxing time with your family and friends, and why not with your beloved in a date, there inside you find also plenty of things that are so delightful to see and entertain the sight, thanks to the personal for such a wonderful night, and the tasty food.
