The haymaking is a real insider tip. The food is always delicious, the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced and all at reasonable prices. What more could you want?

What does “temporarily closed” mean? There is currently German and Indian cuisine here. The sign for Heumache is gone. There is no menu in the display case, just a typical flyer familiar from delivery services.

Great Indian food, great hospitality.

The haymaking now has the name "Badal's Kitchen" and focuses on Indian dishes. First the somewhat negative points: The ambience is still the old Heumache, i.e. classic business establishment from the 80s. That was the somewhat negative point. Otherwise it is very bright in the restaurant. As other reviewers have already written, the people who run the restaurant are incredibly friendly. We were super full and whatever we ate tasted very good and I think the prices are reasonable. When we were there, chilled hip hop in Punjabi was playing (we liked it better than the sitar strumming that is usual in such restaurants). I can only recommend the place. (Oh yes, according to the menu there are of course also the classics of “bourgeois cuisine” schnitzel in the usual variations and so on.)

I ended up in this restaurant in an allotment entirely by chance. The service is very friendly and the ladies create a youthful, fresh atmosphere. The food is more than expected and also tastes good. You can sit outside and the borders are still being planted. Also recommended in the afternoon.
