Isenburg Renaissance Castle on the banks of the Main in Offenbach: considered by art historians to be a remarkable Renaissance object with different facades on the north and south sides. Today it is part of the campus of the Offenbach University of Design. Unfortunately, graffiti artists have also immortalized themselves on the wall and the area is heavily littered. Easy to reach on foot from the Offenbach market square and the banks of the Main.

I find this place by chance. It's architecture is impressive. If you visit this place, don't forget to check the fountain behind it. By tu way, if you want to take good pictures you can cross the street and go to the river side, after going up thorough the stairs and there you can have a good angle.

It’s a shame the castle isn’t better maintained. I don’t care if you want to drink and party on the castle but clean up after yourselves. The information posted around the castle was quite interesting as well.

an architecturally beautiful building, but unfortunately sprayed with graffiti. The forecourt doesn't look particularly inviting either.

Beautiful landmark, but totally abandoned. Spoiled with graffiti and closed on Sunday. Not sure if it's ever open though. Offenbach city council must be ashamed of themselves.

Not too crowded during summer. Best unknown places around Frankfurt for tourists i'd say. Many people miss this gem of a place when they're in Frankfurt. The only downside is it's a bit far from the city itself.

This palace is described in novel "Księgi Jakubowe" written by nobel prize winner Olga Tokarczuk. Main character lived and died here.

It is an interesting place by the Riverside. Needs to be better maintained than it currently is.

It's quite nice from the outside, a lot of it has been smeared or damaged, but that's typical for Offenbach. I don't know what it looks like inside, I wasn't there.
