Visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, it is situated just next to Mainz river and amazing view for brilliant lunch.. full star for the location and view. Good selections to choose from and very well mannered waiter and really helpful. Food wise no disappointment and delicious (not heavy spicy but just about right). Mango lassi was a perfect delight for little boy!!

Food, service and atmosphere - everything was perfect here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The prices are also reasonable.

Lassi was like Joghurt I even complained - no reaction. Raita extremely salty. Portions small. Naan small - except you order extra. The second one is surprisingly bigger. You pay 30€ for a dish, but at the end you just get disappointed.

We would just wanna share our experience with this restaurant. So we ordered our food since we love Indian cuisine, we opted to order in this restaurant. Ordered was accepted and the order supposed to come in 59 minutes after placing the order. After an hour and half, we tried to follow up and called them, we were told that it should arrive in 10 minutes. Half hour had passed and still no signs of delivery so we called again and that time, we were told that their car was broken the cause of the delay. So their first alibi was clearly a lie. So we told them that we rather cancel it but they insisted in 6 to 8 minutes it'll arrive. And it finally did. So here comes the food review, not exaggerating but the food was no where near the indian foods we've tried in the past. We've tried worse foods and also tried great ones but this one was no way good at all. The meat was so dry. And everything was just pire disaster. We don't really order often in restaurants, we just do that in circumstances that we're unable to cook. We appreciate good cooking and we are nothing but disappointed with our experience with this to restaurant.

100% recommended. This place is extraordinary in food, hospitality/polite staff & perfect location by the side of Main River..convenient parking too. So best place to dine-in in view. Food served is totally authentic Indian!

Awesome food, presentation n taste 👍 .. We regularly order food from this place and they do customize food based on your choice .. Taste of the dishes proves the chef is very talented and experienced 👍 .. We recently had a party with friends at Main Curry house and the overall experience was amazing.. Must order things from menu - Dal Makhani, Veg & Non Veg Grill Platter and Butter Chicken. Special thanks to Goldi Bhaiya and Mr. Kaleen who took care of all the guests.

This is a great place to eat. The food was amazing. My two servers both spoke German and English. A nice place by the mein River.

Good food, and not the particular taste of India when you are used to having Indian food. Atmosphere is quite nice though with the river in front of you.

Excellent Indian eatery on river front, preferred outdoor seating. Waitperson are bilingual courteous and carry out orders with ease. The manager also mingles with the guests making them comfortable. Menu is a spread of you name it and they have it kind Indian hardcore. Food quality and quality both are good. I have ordered daals paranthas and chana masala, all were excellent. Also available are pakoras and samosa. Overall good rating.

This place actually confuses me. I have eaten here more than once. On two occasions, I have dined in, while on the other two I ordered food for home delivery. Again, I am a vegetarian so my reviews might only be helpful for some. Anyways, the food when dining in, is finger licking and mouth watering and really nice. Soft Paneer cubes, properly cooked and tasty Indian curries. The staff is very warm and helpful. The quantity for a sabzi is less than any other Indian restaurant. For 3 people 2 sabzis aren’t enough here. That makes this a bit expensive than others. But its fine, you get ample amount of space to park your car, you get a view of the Main river and you can eat and drink here in peace. The places justifies the price. For a price/quantity estimate - For 2 adults, I ordered - 1 Matar Paneer 1 Paneer Makhni 1 Malai kofta 2 lachha paratha 2 paneer kulcha 1 Sweet lassi 1 Salt lassi 1 Cola The total was about 63€. We were left with a little Paneer Makhni that we got packed. However, i ordered the home delivery twice and on both occasions the food was way below par. I do not know the reason, but if you want to dine in, this is a really nice place. I would however still rate Taste of India (Königstein) as the best followed by Mera Masala followed by Swaad and Main Curry House followed by Bombay Lounge and Taj Taj tandoori which are again almost on par with each other. It's 2 years since I ate at Taj Taj Tandoori so, I might need a refresher.

We recently moved to Frankfurt and have ordered from Main Curry House twice - it offers by far the best curries we have eaten in Germany. Perfectly spiced, not too hot, full of flavour, our new favourite Indian restaurant!

Ordered takeout from here. The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were great. Have eaten better naan bread, but it was still okay. Punctual and friendly delivery.

Enjoyed the variety. Had several vegan choices on the menu which were clearly marked. They even made me a vegan mango lassi. I was thrilled. :-)

We order chicken tikka masala in this place every weekend for about a year, and the food was excellent until now. Last 3 times that we have ordered, the sauce (the main thing in the tikka masala actually) was tasteless, and today was over salted. Disappointing. Looking for a new place.

My wife Julie, and myself, had the privilege of meeting Akass, the bar tender, who spoke excellent English and steered us through the process of ordering meals and drinks that were good and tasty. The prices are fair and the service wonderful. Akass, made this a great experience in our travels through Europe and we highly recommend this establishment.
