    I would highly recommend Matt to anyone who is looking for a trainer who: makes custom plans with your specific goals, past injuries and needs in mind, is highly professional, encouraging, and is passionate about what he does. Matt pays lots of attention to the small details and has helped me improve my form immensely, as well as identify and target muscle groups I was not properly engaging. His new spot on Oleander is Top notch with all the equipment and amenities you could need! I would recommend Matt to anyone at any age or fitness level looking for a trainer in the Wilmington area!

    Coach Matt is excellent!! Our 14 year old son has been involved in athletics since he was old enough to play organized sports. We started having him train with Coach Matt 6+ months ago and have seen great changes in our son, both on and off the field. Coach Matt has been able to help him improve his physical strength and speed, along with his self confidence, which has carried over into different aspects of his life. I am so glad we found out about Coach Matt from our friends and definitely recommend his coaching and training to everyone!!

    I am 37 years old and feeling like I am 22 again thanks to Wilmington Strength. Matt gives 100% attention to detail in his instruction. He knows how to communicate the form to each workout so effectively that I am able to pickup new workouts that I am trying for the first time in my life. Moreover, he challenges me to give more effort than I could ever give on workouts on my own. Overall, I am a lifetime workout guy who just went from JV to Varsity because of Matt at Wilmington Strength. My strength and confidence are in a great way!

    Matt is an amazing trainer! Extremely knowledgeable on the various muscle groups and how to effectively get the most out of them. I have had serious hip issues (requiring surgery) and he is well informed on how to work with my issues effectively and safely. I highly recommend him for whatever your needs are whether it’s training, toning, maintaining, or building!

    Matt is super focused on safety, form and progress. He works with our 13 year old son to help him grow stronger and faster—safely. All the young athletes love going to workout with Matt because they trust and respect him. Even my anti-gym husband now trains with him!

    Matt is very professional and makes sure all his workouts are safe. He makes personalized workout plans that are specific to your fitness level and address your personal goals. I have a previous shoulder injury and I have been working out with him for a couple months now. I am stronger than ever and feel great! He makes every workout easy and FUN!

    Matt is an excellent trainer. He has helped my 13 year old son improve his strength and speed in just one month. I can see the difference at his baseball practices. He takes his time to teach the proper techniques and prepares a plan to reach my son's goals. He makes the youth session fun and challenging. He attends to every kid's fitness goal.

    Incredible gym!!! Would seriously recommend this place to anyone looking for a personal trainer in Wilmington. Matt is highly attentive and encouraging! I took a few years away from lifting weights and after booking sessions for the last two months, I am incredibly pleased with his workout program and the results I’m seeing! 10/10!
