Bubba's is that place that you always forget is there due to its poor location tucked away in the back of the Highlands, but when it comes getting a beer and a burger you can't go wrong. Bubba's prides itself in over-sized meals and it's easy to over-order: appetizers are all tasty - the grilled zucchini is nearly impossible to pass.up, the mozzarella sticks are easily the biggest I've ever seen and loaded with cheese, and the pretzel can feed 10 people. Bubba's pride themselves on their burgers. Rather than a ground chuck or other cheap parts of the cow, Bubba's grinds brisket, ribeye, strip and sirloin, making for a very flavorful burger. There's enough variety in toppings and different burgers to make your decision hard and in the number of times I've been there I've not had a bad burger yet. The beer selection consists of your typical domestics, the new seltzer trend and local crafts. If I have a chief complaint, it's that every time I order a draft my first pick is out. All in all, Bubba's is a great place for a good burger. They have healthier menu options which I've yet to explore, but I never leave hungry unsatisfied.

Always great food & service. Never had an issue there. The sweet potato fries are my favorite.

My wife and I came in for the first time. The food was great. No complaints about the food. The service was good. The only complaint would be our waitress complaining about how much money she makes. If she had put on a smile even if it was fake I would of tipped her a bit more ( I left her a average tip ) and would of had a better experience. Next time we want a burger we will go back.

We stopped while traveling. Not too busy for a Friday night. Nice atmosphere and ok for an 11 year old. Our food was good and service was friendly.

I've been here a few times and it's always really good. The mozzarella sticks come with only 4 which is kind of a small order for sharing but they are huge 😅 and they're so good! The burgers are always done really well and the meat choice they pick is obviously really good!

We were excited to find this place on our way from PA to OH. We want to support our Veterans anyway we can being a Veteran myself. We timed it just right to arrive for 1100 opening. Service was a little slow (considering it wasn't too busy), but it was OK. After receiving a mildly friendly welcome, we were seated right away (we were the first customers for lunch). Our somewhat disheveled-looking waitstaff promptly appeared to take our drink orders. We gave our food orders when she came back with our drinks. We waited for about 25 minutes before our food came out of the kitchen. Unfortunately my burgher was just OK in spite of the special fresh blend of meat (I believe it's their main selling point). It lacked any wow factor. It may have been a case of having a too high of expectations on my part. Also, I asked for medium, but it was more like medium well (there was no pink in the middle at all). It even needed to have some salt and pepper to taste. The blackened chicken salad had a whole lot of iceberg lettuce, but it lacked flavors even with pouring balsamic vinaigrette on it. I heard the chicken was the best part. I really wanted to love this place since it is advertised as Disabled Veteran-Owned establishment. We drive back and forth between OH & PA. I think it'll be a very long time for our next visit here if any.

1st time eating there and was not disappointed! We ordered 2 appetizers, the mozzarella sticks with marinara and the everything pretzel bites with the garlic herb cream cheese. The 4 mozzarella sticks were huge and the marinara sauce is the best I've ever had! The pretzel bites with the cream cheese were delicious. We ordered the Steakhouse Burgher and the Bacon Cheese lovers burgher, both came with fries ( you can upgrade your side and can also make your burgher a chicken sandwich or a wrap ) The burghers were phenomenal. 10 out of ten would recommend. We washed our meals down with a coke and a 22oz mich ultra draft and the bill was only 60.00 Definitely will be returning for more of this amazing, mouth watering food!

Gourmet burgers at a reasonable price. We ordered the deep fried pretzel from the appetizers and it was awesome! The pretzel was huge and 4 of us shared it. Our waiter was super nice. We would definitely go back again.

We have always loved Bubba's but we went there for dinner this evening & we were extremely disappointed. Our burgers were good...but the fries my husband ordered came out cold & clumped together....he didn't say anything...his fault. My tots weren't hot but luke warm...so not as bad as the fries. Our waitress was very sweet but my husband asked for a drink refill & never got it. I'm not saying we will never come back but it won't be our first choice for dinner. I'm not trying to be unkind because Bubba's has always been one of our favorite stops, but I feel you need to know this because I know you take pride in your restaurant and want it to be the best...all places have their off times so hopefully this was just one of their times! 🙂

The food was great. Had the giant prezal and a burger. Lol. It was awesome. The fried pickles were spears not just little slices. The service was off it was a week night. Some girl server was messing with the bartender and kind of messing up his service attention. Had to interrupt the servers party to get some service and our check. Over all though great place good is awesome.

The food was great! The Bubba burger is my favorite with all of that cheese. If you love cheese, go for it! They were short staffed, like every other restaurant out there, but did an excellent job at keeping up. Prices are more than fair. Try em out....you won't be disappointed

When we first arrived, Bubba's seemed to only have one person working. He seated us after a short wait and another worker appeared. I ordered and was told that I have an old menu and they no longer have that item. I chose something else and they no longer had that either and our waitress gave me a new menu. I ordered a regular cheeseburger, well done. Our food came fairly quickly. My hamburger was good until I got halfway through it. It was unevenly cooked and the second half was more of a medium.

Burgers were very good flavorful. The "boneless wings" were surprisingly good we got the 7 pepper seasoning. I got the volcano burger enjoyed both both er a little spicy but not overly so.

Waited a half hour at Quaker steak and lube at table with no drinks, left and found this hidden gem. Absolutely no line, quiet atmosphere, they were especially helpful in deciphering menu options, the new cook nailed the molten lava burger, and the huge pretzel practically fed our family of 4. I was equally surprised to find out we have one closer to home too. Will try them in the future to see if they stack up the same as the one in Tridelphia. Thanks y'all for saving the night with 2 hungry kids on deck!

First time here and probably the last. Leaves a lot to be desired. The concept is great, but a $14 slider is about all you get. Fries were almost warm when they first came out. Ordered the Buffalo burger, the menu says ask for extra napkins. Didn't need one let alone more than one. My family had the Bubba Burgher, Pulled Pork, and Ultimate Corndog. Again ok, but nothing special. Who puts a sticker on a beer glass along the rim where you might drink??

I ordered a burger titled "Bacon Ranch". This burger is one of the best I've ever had and cannot wait to go again. The fries were not as crispy as you would normally expect, but they taste amazing. Service was great, she was positive, asked if we were doing okay, she was fast, etc. Overall Bubba's burger is my new favorite restaurant. 😁

Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. We live in Central PA and once in awhile make a trip down to Cabellas’s. We found this place today and OMG… amazing. The soft pretzel appetizer is out of this world. The horsey sauce and honey mustard is soooo good. My fiancé got the meatball sub and I got the PBC burger. Absolutely no complaints. Our server was very attentive and super nice. Will definitely be returning!

Had an early lunch at Bubba’s after an indoor baseball game next door. Excellent service, greeted with enthusiasm and was promptly seated. Drinks brought quickly and wait staff was awesome. Bubba burgher, chicken and mozzarella sticks were delicious. Highly recommend. Comfortable atmosphere that you don’t seem to get with the local chains. Great job, Bubba’s!

Nice place with great tasting burgers. I suggest the ginormous cheese sticks. They were very good and uniquely large. I also had the Cheesy Bacon burger which was very good.

On my scale I gave Bubba’s a 6.4. The food was good but they did mess up my order. I highly recommend the burgers. It usually isn’t that busy so it is a great place to take your family. Oh and one last thing the service was great.

Had the Burns Twice burger, absolutely the best I've ever had! Had fried pickles instead of fries, outstanding! Service second to none! When I stop here again for the night, Bubba's is priority 1!

I got a burger, it was alright, it could of used some seasoning, we ordered buffalo chicken dip, I give that 2 stars, it had no spice to it. My wife ordered boneless chicken wings, they were chicken nuggets, she got the buffalo ranch it wasn't very good, I did order a side of the homemade buffalo sauce and it was pretty good. The fresh cut fries were nothing great. I wanted this place to be really good since it is a local place and veteran owned. I'm sorry but it wasn't.

Absolutely a needed stop if you are in the area. The burgers are just amazing and the salads are off the hook too. All of this at a very reasonable price. A laid back clean vibe with a extremely attentive staff. Well worth the money and the time. Go check it out.
