Very cool and historical monument. The area and park around along with the tiny visitor center are nice. Staff were friendly. The size does not do well in pictures but it is 352ft tall. You can ride an elevator to the too which has an observation deck.

If you want the most fantastic view of the island, you can only go here. It has an elevator to the top to see the whole surrounding islands and area. The monument has great information in the visitor center that tells you all about the battle, history, and the people involved. It is run by park service folk that will answer any of your questions and are friendly and professional. It is also one of the taller monuments in all of the United States. It truely is a beautiful monument, view, and amazing part of history.

Didn't even knew this peace memorial existed until our day trip to put in bay. Highly recommend! Don't forget your park pass, it will get you free admission to the top of the monument. Learned some from history about the war of 1812 and how lake eerie was a part of it.

This whole time I thought it was a lighthouse. I am so glad we checked it out. First National Park I've been to as well! Slowly connecting the dots of America's history, all the lessons that were crammed into a semester of middle school, remembering only enough to pass a test. It's so much more to see it in person and from a place of genuine interest. The NPS has done a great job. I hope to visit many more National Parks to fill up my passport.

This monument is placed directly in the path of approaching aircraft to the island Airport. If you like a challenge landing your airplane then this is your slalom course. This park is free and well put together. The movie is nicely directed and edited. If you like ship battles that are really hyped and honored for tourism... well this is the place. "Don't forget the ship!!"

This is the international peace memorial has observatory deck. From the top you have amazing views of most of the islands near Sandusky. You will also be able to see the Canadian border and islands. It’s renovated and opened recently. The charge per adult is 10$ and kids free.

This place is really impressive. You don't really get a feel for exactly how tall this monument is, until you are standing underneath of it looking up. It was a shame that we weren't able to go up to the observation deck, as out time was short, and the line for the elevator was way too long. What an awesome view the property offers though. Truly an honorable memorial for Perry. Next time we come, we will make it a point to ride up to the top. I'm sure that the view is breathtaking

This place is, now was, on my bucket list!! I finally visited the monument today to check it off of my list. Even though it was closed for the season, I was able to see the monument and touch it (which makes it official)!!! Beautiful setting and terrific views from this site.

I didn't know anything about this memorial until we were on the island and to discover the history behind it was informative and interesting. Unfortunately the elevator was down and we were not able to go to the top, which I'm sure provides breathtaking views. It was still amazing to go into the rotunda and see the inscriptions inside.

Awesome little museum across the lawn from monument, seems brand new. Watch the 15 mi video on the battle history

This tower and museum is the best thing to do in Put-in Bay, other than water sports and spending time in parks. The view from the top is great. A must visit.

We enjoyed our visit to the memorial but were disappointed that the elevator is out of service due to a lightning strike. I was at the top years ago and it offers a great view far across the lake. Nice visitors center with information on the battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. There is actually six officers, three American and three British that are buried under the monument itself. When we were there, two people were dressed as a British officer and sailor and gave a demonstration of firing war-era flintlocks.

Beautiful monument, not handicap accessible. Adjacent museum was great and was handicap accessible. Movie was very informative as well as displays.

This was a nice way to end our weekend and the $10 trip to the observation deck was worth it for the view. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful for meeting our group's needs. Finally, the theater experience was high quality for its free price.

We needed a reserved time ticket, so we didn't go up the tower but did get to look around the bottom. The guard was friendly and knowledgeable.

Enjoy put-in bay alot, was my first time here and we did the Perry's victory tower, it was super windy but great views even on a cloudy day. If you're a veteran like me you get in free. I didn't even know there was a battle here Learn new stuff everyday! Our Kelly's island trip got canceled and we spontaneously went to put in instead no regrets

Very cool history about the battle of 1812. I don't think I ever remember learning about the history of this battle. There is a very cool display of history telling the story and we were lucky enough to get some back story from one of the rangers working.

We had an absolutely AWESOME visit to the Perry's Monument during our recent visit to Ohio. I brought my daughters to see where I grew up as a kid, and hadn't been to the top of the monument in about 15 years. The Park Rangers were so professional and welcoming! We were pleasantly surprised when our interagency pass that we earned from being retired disabled military veterans, admitted our whole family. Thank you all for such a memorable visit!

Great memorial! Love the views you get of the different islands, Canada and Lake Erie as a whole! The park rangers were very nice and I was impressed with their knowledge of history! My only complaint is that I wish you didn’t have to reserve a date or time but that’s all! Highly recommend you stop here, it’s worth the time and money!

Check in at the visitor center first to get a time that you can go up. When we went all the time slots were filled. Good thing we were staying for 2 days. We got tickets for the next day.

Beautiful monument on a beautiful Lake Erie island! I was surprised to learn of the history of this place. The kids enjoyed posing with it like you see done with other monuments.
