My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Dot Calm cabin for our 1 year anniversary. Frank and Renee are friendly people. My husband Mike always says every time we arrive or are departing is that he would love to live there in one of the cabins and he will work for Frank and help him around the land with whatever he needs. That's how much we love it there and enjoy it. Frank married us a year ago on May 17,2021 it was the best day even if it rained the whole time Frank made it a day to remember. We will be returning every year. The cabin was excellent with how clean it was, the scenery is absolutely breath taking (we saw 3 deer 1 was right along the road way to our cabin) which was stunning to see, chocolate covered strawberries were delicious and we can't forget the hot tub which is relaxing in it self. I highly recommend that you stay At Boulders Edge Cabin and Tipi Retreat you won't want to leave and will always look forward to returning. Frank and Renee were very personable, polite and professional. We had a great time! The property is close enough to a lot but perfectly tucked away. Our Dot Calm cabin had great views and serine. Our pups enjoyed all the sniffs, sitting in front of the fireplace and chilled on the deck with us while we were in the hot tub. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend to our friends and family!!!

My new bride and I went there for a wedding package they offered. Frank and Renee were amazing. The hospitality and enthusiasm was awesome. They made our special weekend perfect. The couples massage was next level and the catering for our meal cooked in our cabin was professional and eloquent. The flowers we’re beautiful and the wedding cake was delicious. Even if you’re not getting married, this venue is amazing. We definitely will be back!!

We had the destination wedding experience, including staying in one of the cabins. It was amazing! They handled our wedding beautifully. The cabin was spotless, charming, and private. We loved the hot tub and used it many times while there. We plan on coming back.

We stayed in the Dot Calm cabin with our pup and it was perfect! Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival and the deck was gorgeous! Frank was very helpful and welcoming when checking in an was able to give some wonderful tips about the area which we follow throughout our stay. The property was gorgeous, very well maintained, and amazingly peaceful! We plan on making a return trip in the fall to enjoy the beautiful fall colors on the property. Frank and Renee have created such a lovely place and we plan on visiting again as often as possible.

My spouse and I worked with Frank and Renee to plan our wedding for October 14, 2023. We were able to adjust their wedding packages to fit our needs. Communication with Frank and Renee during the planning process was easy. And we looked forward to check in! Frank was a hoot to check in with. He helped us feel relaxed especially with our upcoming uniting ceremony. We were booked for 3 nights at the DotClam Cabin. The location was secluded to help provide extra privacy. The mattress was comfortable, we slept great. We appreciated the amount of towels that were provided. We had enough for our three night stay for showers and use of the hot tub. One of our favorite things was enjoying our morning coffee on the deck! The hot tub was relaxing. The temperature was perfect. The candle provided a relaxing amount of light at night. The location of the retreat was great. There were plenty of things near by. We did some shopping down the road and ventured into town to see some other attractions. We enjoyed our stay so much! We were married in Ash Cave (by Frank and Renee) in 2018 and come back to stay at the Dot Calm cabin every year for our anniversary. Frank and Renee go out of their way to make sure their guests have an amazing stay and have everything they need. Great place! Had our daughters birthday and we absolutely loved the cabin and location! Hot tub is amazing! The rooms and beds are super comfortable. Everything very clean and very welcoming all the way around! I 100% recommend and would stay again.

We had a sister’s trip and stayed in the Tall Pines cabin. The cabin was beautiful with hand made bed frames, side tables and coffee table from live edge pine. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub, an outdoor fire and the peaceful setting. Renee and Frank were very helpful with ideas for dinner and hikes. Looking forward to another stay in this awesome setting!

Brought my fiance here for a surprise weekend getaway for he's birthday he was so happy. We enjoyed our cabin it was so nice and relaxing! Couldn't of asked for a better weekend. The hot tub was my favorite! Wish we could of stayed longer but the experience was really great. We stayed at Dot Calm in October for our elopement package. The cabin was very clean and well maintained and the entire area was beautiful. Frank and Renee made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck. The woods surrounding the cabin were gorgeous. Our only regret is that was couldn’t stay longer! Our ceremony was beautiful and was everything we wanted and more. We hope to be back for a future anniversary.

Such a great cabin! We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was clean, stocked, and the beds were so comfy. We loved using the fireplace and the hot tub. There is a little creek right behind the cabin and Rockbridge trailhead is right next to the cabins. We were used to having smelly water in past cabins but it was so nice to be able to shower and brush your teeth with clean, fresh water that didn’t have a sulfur smell. The small details like the embroidered pillow cases were the icing on the cake. You can tell the owners take great pride in these cabins and we will definitely be staying again!!

My (now) husband and I were so lucky to find At Boulders Edge!!! We booked a wedding package with Frank and Renee and everything was just amazing. It was perfect. We stayed in the Dot Calm cabin which was so cute and cozy!! All the wedding details were handled and we just had to show up!! We were married in February and the setting was just incredible!! We can’t wait to come back and stay for our anniversary!!

Out in the country is a peaceful place to get away. This place was close enough to go get items that we had forgotten to pack, like less than 10 minutes away. I was able to bring my 70-pound dog. They had accommodations for our smoking with ash tray and a butt can outside, as expected. They were very nice people and made us feel like we were at home.

We’ve been visiting Boulders Edge for a couple of years now for a tipi camping weekend with friends and have always had an incredible experience here! The owners are delightful, the grounds are well kept and what’s cooler than being able to camp outdoors in a tipi! Would 20/10 recommend booking your next stay here.

Owners are super nice and made us feel welcome right away. The cabin was beautiful and private. Brand new hot tub, we had a great time!

Stayed in Tall Pines with my husband, our kids (5 & 7), and our puppy. The owner/operators are very friendly and communicative. The cabin was clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It had nice touches than many vacation rentals do not, including coffee, enough towels for bathing AND the hot tub, a fan (I’m one of those weirdos who can’t sleep in silence) and even sharp kitchen knives! The hot tub was great. The cabins are far enough apart that there’s plenty of privacy. Best of all, there’s a really cool nature preserve that you can hike right from the cabins. I would happily stay there again.

Stayed at the dot calm cabinet a little over a year ago and got married. Frank and Renee were great, and the cabin was adorable and so comfortable. Loved the floating bed. Had dinner cooked in our cabin by another lovely couple after our wedding that was so perfect for us! Definitely loved everything about this place and we hope to return sometime in the future!

Stayed at the sky view cabin. Absolutely loved it. It was a perfect get away. Peaceful! Plus when you check in, the very nice gentleman gave us tips and tricks to navigate our way the best through the hikes. He saved us time and allowed us to have the best experience on our adventure. The cabin was very clean, away from others and a perfect view of the stars. We were sad to leave!

We stayed at the Dot Calm cabin with At Boulders Edge and we could not have been happier with our stay. It was the most relaxing vacation we have been on in recent memory. The cabin is very well maintained and is surrounded with gorgeous views in every direction. The owners of the property were very friendly. We plan to make this cabin an annual fall trip.

We stayed at Sky View for a weekend. This cabin was wonderful! Great location allows you to go to Lancaster or Logan quickly. Frank was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Cabin was clean and well kept and came with plenty of towels! Furniture and bed were very comfortable and my husband really enjoyed the reclining chair and appreciated the end table! We definitely recommend!

We loved the Tall Pines Cabin. It was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of outdoors activities. Frank and Renee were great hosts and we would 100% recommend ‘At Boulders Edge’ to all of our friends and family!

We did a wedding package here and it was an amazing experience. Well beyond what we expected. The cabins were very clean and comfortable. It also felt nice finding out it is just a smaller collection of cabins and not some large corporate owned vacation spot. Frank was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. While we didn't find the time to visit a lot of the local places he told us about, we definitely plan to come back with more time and check them out.

A perfect wedding retreat with every detail cared for! The cabin was cozy and charming. Beautiful back deck overlooking a scenic wooded lot. The hot tub is the perfect opportunity for relaxing. Frank and Renee are helpful and you instantly feel at ease. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience here from check in to check out. Fred was so nice and we enjoyed hearing about all the build he did for the cabins. They are wonderful! Clean, well furnished. We had everything we needed and while the place was secluded, it was still close enough to stores, restaurants, and attractions. Fred gave us some key insights on how best to explore the trails. Great time! Will definitely choose this place in the future. ❤️

Our stay At Boulders Edge - August 21-26, 2022 My husband and I spent 5 days At Boulders Edge. We rented Tall Pines cabin. Frank and Renee were outstanding hosts! Frank shared a wealth of information about Hocking Hills and a number of “helpful hints” about the area. We followed everything he shared and his suggestions were awesome! The accommodations are fantastic! We brought our two miniature dachshunds with us and we appreciated that At Boulders Edge is pet-friendly. The hot tub was a blessing after a day of hiking. Our muscles appreciated the jet massage. We loved that the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cookware, kitchen utensils, and more. The king size bed is incredibly comfortable and the built in side lights on the bed frame was very helpful at night. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was, too. It was hard to leave after such an outstanding stay, but we already booked a return trip. Can’t wait to come back and spend more time in Hocking Hills and At Boulders Edge. Been coming to At Boulders Edge for several years now, every year for our anniversary. Never disappointed! Frank and Renee are wonderful, so welcoming and friendly, it's like coming home. I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Hocking hills, you won't regret it, so much to do and see and At Boulders Edge is in the heart of it all. We will continue to come back every year!! Cabins are clean, beautiful and well equipped for an extended stay. Please check them out, you won't be disappointed, I promise!!

My fiancé and I stayed two nights in the Dot Calm cabin on our first overnight trip with our 8 month old daughter. We have nothing but good things to say! Frank was so friendly, the cabin was clean and beautiful, and the location was great. We were a few minutes from so many things, but the cabin felt totally alone with great views. The hot tub was clean, the kitchen supplied everything we needed for our stay, and the personal touches like the chalk board and scavenger hunt were too cute. We really enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back soon!
